Awesome! Awesome! And did I mention awesome?

I have a FANTASTIC time here, when for their Monday night karaoke and I don't even sing! The theme of the night was NO PANTS! So I wore shorts while others wore dresses, skirts, kilts and boxers. It just adds another fun element to the karaoke especially when Baby Got Back is sung and a man in a kilt helps "back-up" dance! See what I did there?! ;) So I guess next them is Cosplay in support of upcoming Comic-Con so people can test out their costumes, that is like guaranteed entertainment for sure.

Surprised that this place isn't more packed with how entertaining this event is. It's every Monday night the doors open at 7pm, but the singing starts at 8pm. Plenty of free street parking and there is zero cover, so more money to spend on drinks! ;)

Even though there isn't as many people early on I would advise going early just to get your song in the rounds. They have drink specials and house made infused vodkas! They were out of everything except for a pepper vodka so I just had a custom drink instead. If you're a beer drink they have over 30 blue collar beers and craft beers.

Be warned that this isn't your average karaoke, it's alternative so expect mash-ups and outrageous songs. Just a handful that I remember from the night: The Tra La La Song (One Banana, Two Banana), The Masochistic Tango, Dragonforce - Through The Fire And Flames, Oingo Boingo-Nasty Habits. I was most impressed with this guy who Rickrolled the crowed by doing a mash up of the Rick Astley-Never Gonna Give You Up lyrics set to the music of Blink 182-All the Small Things. The mash-ups are ridiculous and fun, really showing off the singer's talents.

There is just one stage and two mics, so all eyes are on you on as you sing, might be intimidating but it seemed like the crowd was supportive the whole night. It seemed like the crowd mostly knew one another and jumped on stage while friends were singing to back-up dance. The sound system is insane going up to club loud, so I left with my ears feeling like cotton was stuffed in them and shouting to my friend like an old person. Yeas, I guess I am getting old. :/

I don't smoke but I appreciate the outdoor patio for giving my ears a break to prevent hearing damage. They should string up lights across the top for more ambiance, they can even be LEDs for more efficiency. But I guess the darkness is more suitable to match the blackness of peoples souls on their dark electronica unce-unce-unce days.

Great venue in Glendale that provides an amazing space and even more amazing bands. I go here for trivia night which is super fun and a relaxing way to spend a week night (when one just wants to chillll).

Non pretentious space that is welcoming with a variety of events, this venue provides great events on this side of town so I don't have to bother driving out to say, Hollywood.

I'm definitely a fan.
