Came here on a rainy day during Winter Dine LA for the prime rib dinner. I think the average age of the diners for Sunday dinner was about 50. This isn't your typical Dine LA foodie crowd, there were alot of families having Sunday dinner or folks just stopping by for their usual casual dinner.
If you're looking to try prime rib in a more casual tavern setting instead of the usual Lawrys, definitely give this place a try. The prime rib was solid and served with creamed spinach, mashed potatoes, and Yorkshire pudding.
Dessert is a hot fudge sundae where hot fudge is served tableside with fresh whipped cream. Remember that big spinning salad show they do at Lawrys with the dressing? Well they do that with the hot fudge into your sundae.
Service was super pleasant and our waiter graced us with stories of how Walt Disney used to eat here when the studios were nearby.
I would definitely return.
