Went there for dineLA. The Mac n' cheese was too salty. I expected it to be baked with rich cheese. The steak frites was dry and the gravy tasted as though it was from a can. The fries lacked flavor and crispiness as well. The caramel pie was WAY Too Sweet and is literally caramel on a delicious pie crust with good whip cream. Overall, I only liked the burrata cheese on their beet salad.
Review Source:Came here on a Friday evening for drinks. First off, don't try to drive around & find parking, just valet - it's free. As I walked in I felt all of the hipster's judgmental eyes on me. I don't look like I reside in the Silverlake/Echo Park area, and I'm ok with that. Downstairs was pretty empty, but I wanted to go to the bar so I was directed upstairs & told that I could sit anywhere by one of the waiters. I walked upstairs & sat at a table in the corner. After a couple minutes a rude waitress came over & told me I couldn't sit there because that table was reserved. There were maybe 6 people up there & plenty of empty tables so I was pretty annoyed. Her tone & attitude didn't help the situation either. Since I was still waiting on my friend to arrive, I decided to just move over to another table. She brought over the menu & left to help the other patrons. My friend arrived soon after & she brought a second menu. After about 5 minutes she came over & asked him for his order & then walked away. WTF... I'm not sure what her issue was with me, but she is an employee & I am a customer that will potentially be tipping her. When she brought my friends order, I made sure to get mine in as well. I ordered the Hyperion Old Fashioned, which was pretty good. My overall experience here was not good & I will not be returning.
