The Teahouse Company

Chris Murphy and Co. played at our wedding at Calamigos Ranch and it couldn't have been more magical!  We first heard them at Sunday Brunch at the Ranch and the moment I heard them, I knew they needed to be a part of our big day.  I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this group and their manager Sherri who has got to be the nicest person on the planet!  They can play any type of music and really know how to get a party going.  We are still receiving compliments about how fun and talented this group is and I cannot express how much I agree.  In addition to being fun and beyond talented, they are nicest group of people around!  It was such a pleasure to have them be a part of our wedding, they really brought such a special and unique touch to our day.

we searched long and hard for the right fit for our wedding and when we found the teahouse company, we had no need to look any further.. initially we heard the Devil's Box play at the basement tavern in santa monica and started conversations with their manager, sherri ..  she really took the time to get to know us and what we were looking for in a band.. she put together the perfect mix of musicians and tailored it to be exactly what were trying so hard to find..

ultimately, the guys played a mix of our favorite covers as well as their own originals.. we love blue grass and folk and wanted to stay away from the generic wedding band, but also wanted to mix it up with songs people were familiar with and loved.. it was simply amazing, people are still contacting me about how great the band was! i even threw a curve ball and asked them to play an hour longer than expected.. they handled this heavy request so gracefully and by the end of the night we felt like they were a part of the family..

i highly recommend working with sherri and the teahouse company, you won't be disappointed!
