Last night I was transported to 1993, or was an extra in a hipster rendition of the Thriller video....or was an extra in a Thriller video in 1993 Hipsterville...with iphones.

After leaving Verdugo Bar with the intention to mosey back to Downtown to Bar 107, we passed this joint - the gobs of kids wearing black, plaid and oversized trench coats were congregated outside.  This was already a good thing, we had to check it out.

After getting a 2 for 1 special at the door (sweet talking your way out of the 8 dollar cover isn't as difficult as you might imagine) we headed inside.  Light Asylum was set to perform, and as we made our way upstairs to the balcony (prime people watching) the kids filed in.

My roommate and I didn't really fit in, but then again we never do.  That said we still had a great time people watching, dancing, laughing and enjoying the evening.  All in all a great space to watch small indie acts, we will definitely return.
