First off, --CASH ONLY--
Now that that's out of the way, let's get down to business (to defeat the Huns!):
Truthfully, I've only been here on Sundays, and from what I can tell, the bar does not ever seem to be bumping. There's a good handful of people, so it's not too bad. But if you are looking to try and hit on guys/girls, have a loud, rambunctious atmosphere, this is not your place.
Simply put, this is a dive bar. The drinks are about $6-8 (not bad at all), they're strongly made, and the bartender is very friendly.
This is a place where regulars go, not where hipsters go, despite its location. Again, if you're looking to get drunk with your friends, then come here, drink away, and mow down on FREE POPCORN. If you're looking for a more social atmosphere to connect with strangers, then you should try out the Bigfoot Lodge that is a couple blocks down.
This isn't the place where the cool kids hangout. Â
If you are looking for craft beer, it is  not here.  They don't even have Budweiser on tap.  Before you start asking if they have RR, Pabst or Newcastle on tap--they don't have any taps at all.
Want beards and tattoos?  Then walk down the street and you will find plenty of them  with  their tortabilly admirers in tow at the BL.
Its dank and the bathrooms are tiny and smell like piss. Â
Don't come here looking for hotties, as they don't  ever ever come here.  Except when they do.
So why here? Â Because it is what it is--a bar that pours heavy drinks, takes cash only and has a good selection of music to get really drunk to. Â Â Bring a friend or two.
