The ambiance alone will make me return. Â I can listen to the blues all night long. Â
Drinks were a bit steep. Â Truffle Fries were on par. Â Their freshly made Burrata was on the salty side, and I liked it. Â Their Wild Louisiana Gulf prawns weren't bad. Â What made this dish was the creamy garlic sauce. Â We ended up asking for more bread for dipping. Â Speaking of bread, their sea salt butter was kind of addicting. Â Â Â Â
On my recent visit, we had the "BBQ Style" Grilled Skirt Steak. Â The aromatic Chimichurri sauce on the steak was delightful and almost refreshing...not like the average bold style BBQ sauce people expect. Â
We also had the One and Only MacFarland Trout Filet...THE dish that stole the show. Â After savoring the amazing crispy skin on this fish, I can see (or taste) how they named it their One and Only. Â
My first visit was a solid three star experience. Â But with better service, unforgettable fare, and a lively kitchen on my recent return....they truly made me a fan!
