Beans and Grapes

We came here after eating dinner from The Loving Hut cafe.  I drove by a couple of times and wanted to check it out.  New to the area and opened I believe November 2012.  
Walked in and liked how open, bright and cozy.  Wanted to try some Red Wine.  The staff was very knowledgable and was patient explaining what kinds of wine they had to offer.  
Pricing was reasonable ranging from $7.00 on up which my Cabernet was great quality and smooth.
They have live bands on the weekends.
They also serve coffee and pastries, which I have not tried yet.  I will return and revise my review once I tried.

This is a splendid coffee shop. Its a quite place that is ideal for reading and studying. They have all of the amenities for a great coffee shop: WiFi, low priced carafes of coffee, and ample seating. This is my new favorite coffee shop!

This cafe just opened recently and still probably has a few things to work out, but I did have a good first experience.

My visit was initiated as a place to collaborate on a project with a friend. Beans and Grapes was quiet with a pleasant atmosphere and suited our needs well. They even have their own tiny parking lot.

The emphasis on fair trade and community growth is evident from the coffee sourcing and the artwork on the walls. I was told there is more art in the back of the seating area, but I didn't have the chance to venture past the front. For a cafe I would like it if the furniture was a bit more inviting. The standard chairs and tables are fine for a restaurant, but I would have preferred more lounge type furniture in this setting.

I ordered a soy chai and was very pleased with the taste. In my experience, many cafes struggle getting the right balance of creaminess with the bold chai masala flavors, but Bean and Grapes delivered! They offer soy milk, regular milk and almond milk as options for all the drinks. We also had blueberry muffins that tasted as good as homemade.

I certainly look forward to going back in the future for another hot cup of chai.
