The Belle Vue Lounge over at the Boardwalk Inn is one of my favorite lounges to enjoy drinks while at Disney. I love how it's tucked upstairs in a corner hidden away from the action off the Boardwalk lobby.
The Belle Vue Lounge has comfortable seating in various configurations including seating out on the balcony overlooking the courtyard at the Boardwalk Inn. Â I've enjoyed visits here with a group of friends or just with Bryan and myself. Â The atmosphere of the lounge reflects the theme of the Boardwalk Inn. Â You feel as if you've stepped back in time and you're enjoying a drink at a upscale resort set back in the 1940's. Â They have a old fashioned radio station playing stories and tunes throughout the lounge.
You'll even find a number of spots where you can enjoy playing some of the various board games they have on hand. Â Along with the games I've encountered a couple of different entertainers from time to time. Â There's never been a crowd when we've seen them making it fun to interact with them.
I come to this lounge for atmosphere and the drinks are an afterthought. Â The last visit in July had the standard Disney cocktails, but I can always find something off of that menu. Â Perhaps they will be getting some specific drinks here like I've found at a few other lounges. Â The beers are the same that I can get everywhere and there are only two standard drafts on tap. Â I go over to Big River if I want beer.
This is a nice place to relax and take a break if you are at the parks all day. Â I've been when it's empty and when it has been crowded. Â The crowds are fine because there is plenty of seating and once you're comfortable with a drink not much matters. Â
Cheers!

A Relaxing Trip to the Past.
Situated in the Boardwalk Resort on top of the Flying Fish Restaurant sits the Belle Vue Lounge. It's tucked away in its own little time capsule which transports you back to the early 1900s. The decor is fantastic with its cozy couches, chairs, and board games ready for you to play. In the morning the bar doubles as buffet table serving a continental style breakfast with juice, coffee, bagels, and muffins. Nothing beats grabbing a cup of coffee and sitting out on the porch watching all the different people milling about. At night it becomes a bar where you can a good stiff drink, talk, play some chess or even backgammon. The service is always friendly and efficient which you come to expect from Disney.
I always stop in at least once when we stay at the Boardwalk and I just relax to soak up the experience. If you got time and are not in a rush I highly recommend you pay this lounge a visit. Turn off all your electronics, have a drink and play a board game with someone you love. The simple things in life are always the best. Remember to tell them Dan sent you and Stay Hungry!
Boardwalk is one of my favorite resorts at Walt Disney World which means that The Belle Vue Lounge is one of my favorite bars at Walt Disney World. Â It is so cozy and looks like a beautiful living room. Â The sofas, chairs, outdoor patio, checkers, games, and to top it off...a nice big drink! Â The bartenders are knowledgeable and are always very nice. Â One of the greatest places to take a little break when making your way around the boardwalk, or when you are heading back to the resort after a long day at the parks. Â All in all, grab a drink here in this beautiful lounge.
Review Source:A touch of civilized drinking away from the tourists. Located above Disney's Boardwalk, Belle Vue offers top shelf beverages along with experienced bartenders who know how to make the most of them. Featuring a clubby atmosphere, friendly patrons and overstuffed couches and chairs, this is a great place to relax and imbibe.

You would never run into this little cocktail night spot. It's hidden on the second level of the Boardwalk Inn. That's part of the charm. I've never seen it crowded or absent of people in suits.
The chairs are plush and cozy, the bartender is quick with the drinks, and it's a great place to wait out reservations.
For gosh sakes though--if you go, dress up. It's that kind of a place. Not that you need to, but you'll wish you had.
This is the cocktail lounge for Disney's Boardwalk Inn. Â The actual bar is very small with limited hours, so it is easy to assume that it is actually just a sitting area off the main lobby. Â What a surprise it is then, as the evening sets in, to see it open up and serve drinks! Â
As with many Disney venues, the fun here is in the atmosphere. Â The Belle Vue Lounge brings its guests back to the 1920's. Â And as a fairly unknown and easy-to-miss locale (especially since it's right on Disney's Boardwalk, where there are about a dozen highly visible, full-size restaurants and bars), it maintains an intimate, you-need-to-know-someone-to-get-in feel that is tough to find at any Disney World venue.
As you are cruising the Boardwalk, I highly recommend heading inside and up the stairs to discover this lounge for yourself. Â Your friends will be impressed.
Here is a quiet, civilised spot to relax and unwind. Atmosphere is clubby but cozy, overall very inviting. There is an upscale selection of single malt whisky, boutique vodkas and other better spirits. Wine and beer selection is serviceable. Staff is genteel and coddling in a really great old world kind of way. They make everyone feel welcome and well attended to. Really great to sit in here with a Grey Goose Martini expertly prepared by mixologist Alan; whilst melting into a comfy chair and playing chess with an old friend. This bar feels like an old friend......always accepting and welcoming.
