Big Mamou

This place is awesome! Let me start with what you should expect.  This restaurant is small and they do not take reservations, so when you arrive you should be prepared to wait in line anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour.  Trust me, it is well worth the wait.  There are no frills here, but the service is fantastic and the food is out of this world.  They have a wonderful selections.  I usually get some jambalaya and it never disappoints.  

The restaurant is BYOB, which is awesome!

Recently, my office placed a large order there for lunch.  We called 45 minutes ahead of time and everything was ready when I arrived.  They also got the order 100% right, which I can't always say about other locations.

Delicious Cajun/Creole grub in Springfield, MA. Had some jambalaya and chicken Mississippi, which were both delicious and sumptuous. Inexpensive and great service as well. Definitely drop by if you go visit the Basketball Hall of Fame down the street or the Springfield Museums.

We tried to go there, but the restaurant was "closed" even though they had a ton of people in there and it was around 7 PM. If they were overbooked, it would have been nice to not have been just shoo-ed out of the restaurant. On the other hand, the food did look good.
