Finally a place to call home in prospect. Â We go every thurs and sit in vinnie's section. Â He knows what we want and has our app and kids meal out in no time. Â Food is always dependable. Â And they have stepped up their beer and wine selection. Owners are nice and always greet us. Friday nights have become quite popular also, and we end up with the last drink here. Â Nothing hooty tooty, just tasty comfort, italian food. Â And their buffalo wings are pretty amazing also
Review Source:Been here a few times and it is decent. This past week was offered the Mamas meatloaf" special. The meatloaf and green beans were very tasty, but they BLEW it with very poor powered mashed potatoes. If it is too much to do something right, just omit it from the menu. Will be back, but never the potatoes.
Review Source:Gale and I enjoyed excellent entrees of the Fresh Chicken Pomodoro and Grilled Pork Chop respectively. Â Both entrees were soakingly moist. well seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Â Gale had steamed brocholli and the baked mac & cheese which were both very well done. Â I had a double order of the steamed squash. Â Each plate had a serving of excellent Italian bread. Â A very good experience. Â Great Friday night spot.
Review Source:Great night out! Nice little restaurant with good food, great service and nice atmosphere. I liked the food and the portions were good. The server was extremely good with just enough attention without being overbearing. It gets really crowded on Fridays and Saturdays, but I guess that's a good sign. :-)
Review Source:This is locally owned and has a very friendly, casual atmosphere. I ordered the spaghetti with a "Bistro side salad" and my husband had the manicotti and a side caesar salad. We found everything to be very mediocre. The side salad was basically just an iceberg salad mix (lettuce, shredded radishes, shredded carrots) with some Italian cheese blend sprinkled on top. The spaghetti was fine, nothing special, and very light on that same Italian cheese blend. We found the service here to be very friendly, as I mentioned, but also very awkward. My food came out quite a bit sooner than my husband's. We didn't ask about this, but the owner explained that this is because they don't  have a food warmer, and just bring out the dishes as they are ready. Also, for some reason one of the servers asked us if we wanted new flatware while we were waiting for our entrees. We said we didn't, then he said he would give us new flatware anyway, then replaced our forks and knives. While waiting on the entrees we were asked if we would be having dessert. My husband was asked if he would like another beer while his glass was half full. If you are in the Prospect area and craving pasta or sandwiches, give this place a try. It may not blow your socks off, but you'll leave with a full belly and you won't have spent a fortune.
