It's just as average buffet restaurant.  The only thing Amish is the name as far as I can see.  This buffet is located inside a big building along with a go-cart track.

Pretty good.  I mean, it's a buffet and is definitely better than Golden Corral or Old Country Buffet.  Not as good as the Amish place out in Shoals.  I have only been here once.  I'll go back, but it's not like a place that I am craving.

A let down. It is buffet style and we went on a Tuesday, which admittedly is not a high traffic day, but it all just tasted like cafeteria food. The fried chicken was way too salty and had little meat. The peanut butter pie was 75% whipped cream, and the ice cream machine was broken! Popcorn chicken was typical frozen fare I could have gotten from a grocery store and the German potatoes were covered in oil.

A few bright spots: the chicken livers and gizzards were tender, but similarly too salty, the ham steak wasn't too bad either and the dressing wasn't bad. They also had the obligatory corn, green beans and mashed potatoes, but those are pretty hard to mess up.

They just opened in December and I was hoping it was going to be good because we don't have too many restaurants in town, but I won't be back. You're better off eating at the Row Boat Cafe or Miguel's Mexican place if you want some good casual grub at a great price.  I've eaten at Black Buggy restaurants before and always loved the food - wide selection, home-cooked flavor, etc... but this site isn't up to that standard.

If you're in town and looking for a little fancier fare at a good price check out the French Lick Winery for some good Italian or Hagan's at the Donald Ross Gold Course (the Salmon is great!).
