I used to like this bar a lot more back in the day but it is still cool because it has that laid back artsy/hipster vibe but plays cool music and isn't a dirty hippie hangout either. Â Hard to find places like this in El Paso. I wish the bartenders were a little quicker but overall I like to hang out here especially for their happy hour.
Review Source:This place is one of the best nightlife spots I've been to in El Paso thus far. We had fun acting a fool and dancing to 80's jams. The DJ was accomodating to our thrashing about the main room. Pretty chill spot. It reminds me of some of the cooler spots in Downtown Orlando, which are hidden gems in a sea of fist-pumping clubs.
Review Source:I can't really think of reason to not not give this place 5 stars. Â The bar tenders are awesome, there is always something weird on the tvs, and the crowd is diverse. Â
It's off the main drag so you kind of have to know about it to stumble upon it. Â They have a big patio, pool, seating, and a fast and tasty bar.
I also was equally welcome in jeans and a top after a game as well as my little black dress from a professional event earlier that evening. Â Kudos!
Some of the best drink specials in El Paso. Â Great alternative bar scene. Â
Black Market started out to be the premiere alternative bar scene in El Paso. Â As of the last few years, however, it has developed a slight change of atmosphere and gets far more crowded these days. Â None the less, it remains the top of its kind and stands out unique amongst the other bars in its area. Â Black Market still draws a relatively diverse crowd, which helps it make its patrons comfortable. Â
The owner, is a great guy and has a tendency of hiring some of the fastest and most hard working bartenders that I've seen. Â They make bartenders in Austin, TX appear slow and untrained. Â Be polite and respectful to the staff and they'll always take care of you. Â Leave your manners at the door, and they will have absolutely no problems throwing you out.
