    It a fun place

Its a hole in the wall so dont expect too much . They do have a live band on Saturday , The crowd is normally a 28 and older crowd . Very mellow scene . The only thing that bugged me about this place is that its cash only . Im the king of using my card and I never carry more then 20 dollars .Had a great experiance there , If im in the area again ill stop in and say hello

I've got to admit, I feel a little bad about my last review. I feel like I ended up just going to the bar on a bad night which soured my opinion. I avoided this place for well over a year. The only image I could conjure up in my imagination when somebody mentioned the Blarney Stone was a crowded line of old Vietnam vets who disliked me at a glance because I walked into their territory while being at least a decade under 40 years of age.

In all honesty I would have NEVER come back to this place if it wasn't for the fact that my front door is about a 3 minute walk from this dive bar. Boy am I glad I came back! This place is, well, it's really... ... ...I like it. It's not my favorite bar, but it's now a nice secret little spot to take a lady friend for a late night beer and a shot after hanging out at my place.

The clientele is most definitely an older crowd. Mostly a bunch of old white men. I wouldn't describe the main customer as "young and spry and ready to take on the world" by any means. Usually they just like to sit there, watch the tv, and order their drinks. They tend to leave you alone as long as you can hang and don't make an ass of yourself.

The bartenders are about as nice as they get. If it's a packed house there's, at most, two bartenders, so you might be sitting there with an empty glass for 5 or 10 minutes, but I can totally understand when it's busy as hell. If you buy them a shot, they'll give you a little extra special attention!

The drinks! The whole reason I come here. They're strong and they're pretty cheap. They no longer have only Budweiser and Bud Light on tap. Now they have Fat Tire and I believe a few others. The pints are cheap, the mixed drinks are poured with a fairly heavy hand, and the shots are poured with a VERY heavy hand.

The music is typically from somewhere between the 70's and the early 90's and it gets cranked up towards the end of the night. There's also live music at least once a week which tends to attract quite a crowd and a good energy.

There's a lone pool table in the back that takes a couple quarters to play. There don't seem to be too many pool sharks trying to scam ya.

The restrooms are exactly what you'd imagine a dive bar restroom to be like: small, nothing special, but clean enough. Just a solo toilet and urinal in the men's and a solo toilet in the women's. Never a long line.

Overall? I'll be back. It's the only bar in the area, and the fact that it's next to a Vietnamese coffee shop with girls in bikinis, a sweet Mexican taco joint, and 3 minutes away from my HOUSE, makes it my new favorite bar this side of Euclid.

The Bar: Once again, located in a strip-mall as routinely the best dives are. The sign out front is drawn on with a sharpie from the looks of it. Immediately upon arriving to the place we new it was exactly the type of bar we all love. No windows, just a solid brick wall out front with a door leading into the unknown. The bar itself seats about 15 people with some tables along the wall.
The Crowd: We got here pretty early and it was dead. The band Tight Rope was setting up and few locals sitting at the bar. Once the band started playing, the crowd poured in. All friendly and easy to talk to.
Service: 5 star service. Bartender knows his drinks well... including the famous Guerilla Fart shot which about knocked me on my ass.
Entertainment: Karaoke every Tuesday night along with Live Bands on the weekends. 1 pool table in the back ($0.75) and a internet jukebox.
Restroom: Looked like shit. Not in the literal term, but still pretty gross, although it smelled nice.
Closing statement: If you're in the area, I would absolutely recommend this bar. We had a blast and definitely plan on a return trip in the future.

Great prices! Fun environment - local bar but everyone is welcome. Service is awesome - Tuesdays has karaoke with a variety of singers.

It's cash only and as divey as you can guess a place like this would be, it fits the bill. It's also nice that it confirms with the standard practice of dives in Orange County and you can go in there with a 20 spot and stumble out. That is to say that the drinks are cheap and potent.

While this caters more towards the older crowd, as it seems the regulars are all on the older side. That's not much of an issue and as the night draws on, you'll see a good dozen or so younger (relatively) folks stumble in here to sing 80's songs in terrible out of key ways.

In saying that, Karaoke is the key here. Though the notion of cheap stiff drinks does go hand in hand in making the art of karaoke all that much more enjoyable. I can't say the beer selection is the best, but again - this is a dive bar and you shouldn't expect anything more than dive beer. It's cheap, that's all you need to know to satisfy your complaint here.

While I may not go out of my way to come to a joint like this, it is really close to a friend's place. So not having to drive directly after tossing a lot of alcohol back is always a plus in my book.

This place has a lot of junk all over the walls and what not. The bathroom is pretty crappy and the bartenders are more than likely sloshed, but over all, I'm a fan of this place.

Be forewarned: this is a neighborhood bar catered to locals and it's CASH ONLY. For those interested in experimenting a good selection of beers, you will be sorely disappointed. However, I try to stick to the fluffy stuff.

It was karaoke night. Oh shieeet. Nice selection but their discs are crappy. There was always some major glitch in 25% of the songs.

The drinks were pretty strong. Beers were cheap. The bartender later suggested a purple hooter, which definitely put me over the edge. Oh yeah, the bartenders are awesome (esp. Chip!).

And with the age thing... who cares if the crowd is older? I'm a 26 y/o gay Asian boy with blonde hair and they didn't even give me a second look. It's safe to say that everyone is here for all the same reasons: to drink and let loose.

I was about to say that this place is great for convenience but that cash only bit is downright INCONVENIENT. Whatevs, I'll come back anyway.

Not a fun place.  I stopped in for a beer after work and as I entered the waitress asked one of the patrons, "Who is this guy?"  Like, seriously?  What a great way to welcome new customers!  After unsuccessfully looking for a place to sit at the bar (due to a massive amount of rude, glaring senior citizens), I walked out the door and went elsewhere.  I know one thing, I'll never return to this place again.

I for being pretty young had enjoyed the, bar , live music and decor for the most part so I gave it three stars. I ignored the vets and stuck with my group and had a good time. The reason why I didn't give it a five was because if the vets. I swear you have to buy your seat if you want to sit down. The vets there are really rude believing they own the place. There was one lady in a wheel chair who was in EVERYONE'S way and those who were unknowingly in her way got a bad attitude from one of her friends . Another old lady and two of her friends had left the bar to go dancing and I wanted to sit down, so I sat and when she came back she told the bartender that's my drink which was to the far left of me, and he made me move so they could sit! I was drinking my drink as well that I ordered and that did not account for nothing ! The same lady did the the same exact thing to my mom! But what sad is that all these vets will not last forever and its bad business to think your going to have these customers forever , its best to treat everyone exactly the same if you wish to stay in business in the future. If you get up off the seat you lose it! No one is gonna watch your drink or your seat! Especially if its crowded you can't leave the bar and not expect someone to want to sit. That's just ridiculous. It seemed that most of the vet men  bullies where trying to start something with the guys who are not vets! And to the  lady who said these vets deserve respect no ones wants to respect older men if they are complete jerks to strangers. No one will want to come back to that bar if there isn't  nice people.

Love this place.. It's like Cheers!! Good people, cheap drinks...Karaoke on Tuesdays with T-Rex and live bands on the weekends. Get there early on Friday and Saturday cause it gets crowded. Bartender John is the best....true its an older crowd, but if you are young you can go to an 18+ club, this place is the perfect lil Irish pub!!!

If you're looking for a beer with some scary vets who look like they might go postal - come here. I would've given this place 1 star but I just happened to be in good company and got to hear some interesting stories from a man who'd seen 1 too many bad days.

I've never once said this or ever even thought it, but I'm too young and too cool for this bar.
This is where the white trash of OC come to drink. I don't remember if the drinks are cheap or not. I do remember an ugly old lady giving me dirty looks for no reason. If you're not a 50+ wannabe biker you should probably find another bar.

I've been here a few times with a friend who lives close and I've liked it every time.

It's small and old, but it's a good crowd (usually 30+). I've never had to wait for a drink and they're cheap. I think it was $3 for a draft bud light and $4 for a good Jack and Coke. They have live music on the weekends, usually playing some sort of classic rock or alternative. There's a dartboard and a pool table, and a dancefloor if you feel like dancing.

All in all, the crowd is a litle too old for me, but it's a fun dive for a lazy Saturday night.

I've been to this bar about 4 times. My bf brother & his girlfriend are regulars.  True, the crowd is 40+, Jack FM or 100.3 station blast through the speakers, live music band plays mostly classic rock stuff.  There's a pool table and a dartboard.  Drinks are cheap and the bartenders are very nice.  The people who hang out there are nice and very mellow.  Nice place to hang out on a Saturday afternoon.
