The four stars are for their burgers, appetizer portions and friendly service-all of which are great. Prompt service can become somewhat of an issue during moments of high customer volume due to being understaffed, but other than that its a good place to see shows or stop in for lunch. The bacon burgers are mo-effin huge! Been coming here for about six years and thought it was time to leave a good review.

Malone's:  It's a dive.  Keep that in mind.

I don't say this like it's a bad thing - you get some great experiences at dive bars.  Whenever I'm out of town, I always look for one to try.  This one was recommended by colleagues - it didn't disappoint.

Denise behind the bar was awesome.  She was accurate with our orders, very friendly and attentive.  The burgers were huge.  The sides were just so-so, but not like the burgers left much room for them anyway, and they were good.

The beer selection is limited, but it is a full bar.  I didn't get to see a metric crapton of bands as William W. pointed out, but a couple IPA's and a burger later, and I was a happy camper.

I will be back to this area, and I will give Malone's another go.  Hopefully on a busier night so I can take in more of the local flavor and meet more people here.
