Lucille's Smokehouse Bar-B-Que

Hmm.  I've had better, but I end up back here every now and then.   It's not the best BBQ you'll have, nor is it the worst.  What's good here?  The apple butter they serve with the biscuits is enough to give you a food orgasm (forget the biscuit; just spoon it into your mouth or smear it all over your significant other).  The drinks are generous.   The BBQ sauteed shrimp... so good (their sauce is ridiculous).  The gumbo is hit or miss. The roux can be a tad burnt at times, but if it's "on"... it's delish.  Baby back ribs are decent.  The tri-tip is tasty.  The BBQ chicken... mmm (best thing on the menu).

I think these places are all the same.  Is the food good?  Yeah... pretty much.

Keep in mind this is a review of their online order/carryout not in dining. Whenever I dine inside it is really good and I would give 5 stars.

Well upon arrival at the carryout station there was a woman in front of me arguing with the worker about how they got her order wrong. The first thought in my mind was what a "bitch" they lady was. Well turned out that lady was completely sane. When I came home with my carryout order my chicken and burger was completely undercooked. To put it frankly it was disgusting.

This place has good food when dining in, if you ever order online for carryout, please check your food before leaving.

I'm from the Bay Area and I come down to Socal once in a while because my brother lives down there... And for some reason he took me to dinner here -___-

It was pretty packed since it was a Saturday. The wait wasn't that bad at all.. We waited about 20 mins for a party of 8.

The only think I enjoyed about the meal were the biscuits! They were soo good i cant describe it. I also had a strawberry lemonade which was freakin $5. It was too sweet for me. I took my brothers water and watered it down. But I did come in a cool jar glass which I wanted to take but my brother said that's "ghetto" HAHAHHA! but jeeeeez for that price they want you to take the jar. Anyways,  for my entree I got the bbq chicken w/ mac&cheese and mashed potatoes for my sides. OMG! for $20 it was not worth it! Everything was soooo bland. I didn't even eat half of it.

This place isn't worth it. Everyone on our table didn't even finish their food. Plus I think we got charged for having an big party... Excuse you! Why do I have to give you a tip if you didn't even serve me?! You took my order, brought you my food and then the bill. I did not see our waiter other than that! No water refills, didn't ask if everything was okay or if we needed anything.
