Pineapple Hill Saloon & Grill Tustin

We came here to have a drink for my boyfriend's birthday. They had karaoke and a good, diverse mix of people of all ages. I am a fan of this place. Awesome older waitresses working their butts off. Great place for a tropical drink.

My aunt loves karaoke, and she wanted to take out my cousin and me for some.  We had a great time.  The drinks were sufficiently strong and relatively inexpensive.  The karaoke host was great, even through some horrendously bad singers.  The selection of songs was relatively vast, and despite not having the catalog to pass around, we were all able to find songs that suited us well.  There were enough talented or fun singers to help us get through all the really bad ones.  One especially bad one, everyone in the bar sang along, loudly, to help him along, since he seemed to be the only one who didn't really know the song.  It was a cool moment.  I hope to come back again sometime when I'm back in the area.

The atmosphere was nothing special, but the place was clean, the waitresses were friendly, enthusiastic, and capable, and the drinks were mixed well.  It seems like a stretch to call it a "dive bar."  The people saying that probably haven't been to an actual dive bar.

Stopped in for dinner with a friend and had the daily special burrito.  It was really good and just the right size for a dinner meal.  Leaves no room for dessert though.  So we had a great time and the service is much better than it was in previous visits.
Not sure how the Rewards Card points work though.  It seemed to me that I had much more on the card than they told me there was when it came time for the bill.  You can only use the Rewards in $20 increments, so if there isn't $20 or more on the bill, then you can't use them.  Also if you don't have $20 in rewards then you can't use them, which was my circumstance.  So I ended up putting points onto the card using my debit card to foot the entire bill.
