Anaheim Ducks Breakaway Bar & Grill

Right next to gate 19. Vibe is chill, not stuffy. Good for grabbing a beer before a flight and enjoying some sweet potato fries. Prices weren't outrageous for airport food, however, my burger was dry and over cooked. Not much else to report here, folks.

As an Anaheim native, GO DUCKS! That aside, Anaheim Ducks Breakaway Bar & Grill is a great little pit stop for travelers awaiting their flight at the SNA Terminal C. With a few hours to kill before my Southwest flight, Breakaway was a nice start to my getaway. Breakaway offers your standard beers on tap, i.e. Stella, Blue Moon, Sam Adams, etc. Get the Blue Moon - orange garnishment as expected, but the pint also seemed bigger than the other beers. Drinks are around $12 a pop, coming out to roughly $15 per person with tax and tip. For those chronic workaholics or social media addicts, rest assured that you can enjoy free JWA wifi from the restaurant as well. The little cherry on top is that you have a nice little view of the airport runway.

Average FOR an airport venue (so really a two). I've always been of the opinion that an airport should be a showcase of the location. As far as their beer is concerned I was disappointed by the selection of one microbrew (that was obviously overpriced) Karl Strauss IPA. I know i am a hostage here post 9/11 but one day airports will understand the pride that comes with being the best.
