I don't write many reviews. It took me a minute to even find the "write a review" button. But my plane doesn't board for an hour, so wine not!
I definitely dig this place. Certainly the best airport bar I've been to (though my travel experience is limited). Super reasonable priced. I'm still going to end up spending too much money, but that's my fault. I really didn't need the olives.
I don't know much about wine. I mostly drink 2 buck Chuck's older brother, 3 buck Chuck. But their $6 house white is damned good And the bread on the prosciutto/brie sandwich is damned good. And You can get half a sandwich for 5 bucks. Sweet.
Like I said, I know nothing of wine. But I'm eavesdropping on one of the waiters/sommeillers, and he seems to know a lot for a guy in such a transient eatery.
Basically, DO IT. Also, if any cute 25-40 year old men are currently suck at SNA or will be stuck at SFO soon, let me know.
Should be called Vino Volo + Outlets
They have an outlet for every seat at the bar. Â You're welcome. Â
Flight of Pinots was alright; I didn't love the New Zealand option.
Dossier 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon was EXCELLENT. Â I'm looking into buying a whole case of that. Â One of my favorite wines in quite some time.
