There was a really cool DJ shufflin' on Saturday night. Â The bartenders got into a verbal fight which was awesome. Â And everything else was really good. Â Nice bar, avg. price, good service. Â Keep an eye on credit card reciepts and your bill I was mischarged I believe it was an honest mistake just keep an eye on it. Â Have fun here
Review Source:They claim to have the best margarita in town. Hands-down. They are right. Â Fish tacos are fried fish instead of grilled which is different but good. The cilantro-lime sauce on the tacos rock. Carnita tortas are also top notch. Great service from Blair. We really enjoy this place. It's our new favorite spot in Lexington.
Review Source:Service was really good, but Tacos and margarita were just ok. I want to like this place. They bill themselves as having the best margarita in town and I didn't think it was.
The queso dip was great, though!
Since they have no website and no online menu I didn't know what to expect. I've heard very good and very bad reviews. This is a cantina with food, not a restaurant. The food is more "bar food" than entree, but that's ok as long as you know ahead of time.
The tacos are super tiny, but they are super cheap - 2 for $4. They were ok, but not great.
They really need to invest in a website and do some online promotion.
Parking was very easy. Park in Victorian Square. The restaurant will validate you, otherwise it's $3 on a Saturday Night.
We had no wait and a free parking space right outside the front door.
I'll come back!
I've been to this place a few times now.
The food is good, the drinks are better. That being said, it is not even close to worth the headache involved in eating here.
The service is glacial. Every time I have been. Not just once. I'm talking, one margarita in 45 minutes and no appetizers in sight. No chips and salsa. No nothing. If this place had decent service it would be three stars. Until they hire more people, or people that care, it's just not worth the hassle.
Amazing fish tacos. Â The best I've ever had.
The margaritas are not very good even thought they boast that they are amazing.
Service was terrible. Â A friend and I sat at a table and the lady behind the bar called out to us that she was not doing "table service". Â Therefore, I had to go to the bar and order our meal. Â I would like to add that we were the only table in the place and she had 4 people at the bar...
I can only speak to the food at this place, as I haven't been by for drinks. I went once for lunch, and even though the food wasn't too bad, it really seems more like a late-night place.
I thought the tacos al pastor were decent, thought somewhat bland. The chicken enchilada was also pretty mild and the chicken was a little dry. Other than that, no real complaints. Â If you're downtown and dying for some Mexican food, this place will do, but don't expect too much.
The owner really brags about his margaritas so I was expecting a Great one. It was pretty good but was missing the Grand Marnier liqour. The owner said he usually adds it but was out of it. Bummer. I came back two weeks later and he was still not adding it to his margaritas. The food is just OK so I will not be going back. Also the owner waited on me both times and didn't remember me.
