Atmosphere is solid, laid back.  I love the IPA selection!

Good place to hang out and drink some beers, play darts and get away from ... Sarasota.  It's dark like the name suggests. It's laid back. It's non-smoking and no douchey guys here.  There's a nice selection of beers on tap that changes frequently.  No more Trivia on Tuesdays but there's Karaoke on Thursdays. Place is clean including the bathroom! (women's at least)

i do miss the old "Blue Owl" because it had music almost everyday. I used to enjoy the variety of music. It ranged from jazz to heavy metal. However i do understand the need for a re-vamping. It used to draw the dive-bar crowd, and the seating was meager. The used to only have like 3 beers on draft. But now! Lord! they have like 30 on draft, and more seating. The only downfall is that they only have music once a week and its the same genre every time.
