I had this place bookmarked and when my boyfriend's cousin and her husband asked us to have lunch with them, my man told them I wanted to try this place so we all decided to come here for lunch.
I was impressed of the way they made their crab cakes, it's not like the usual ones I had which typically just feels like finely ground food in your mouth. This has crab meat textures and lumps of meat. The flavor however is mediocre. The seafood cocktail was a NO NO. Tasted like it had been thawed out, I'm very greedy when it comes to oysters but I could not even afford to eat two in here. One is oyster is what I could only risk. The french onion soup was good, tho.
I actually wanted to give this place a 2 star for  mistakenly charging us $40 for a glass of wine which was a hassle for us to come back and asked them about it.
Their Vegan Lentil is 5 stars. Â I'll sometimes come here just for their lentil soup, it's that good. Â Their vegetarian panini is amazing. Â We're talking fresh tomatoes and mozarella on foccacia. Â But you can only get it until 4pm. Â For dinner, I used to get the vegetarian lasagna, which is also in the 4 to 5 star range. Â My overall rating is 3 stars simply b/c if you are trying to eat healthy, there are only a few items you can get. Â After going vegan, I'm limited to the lentil and salads. Â They are awesome, but not enough variety to keep me coming back.
