Verona Pizza

Absolutely the best! Everything is good good good and friendly staff. I love the veggie pizza while my husband loves the buffalo chicken. Oh and the beef sandwiches are amazing! You have to try them.

disappointed esp in the crust.  got the deep dish.  The crust had a funny taste.  They might be using Valpo water to make it.  Our water sucks.  Regardless.  Valpo is a great place for pizza.  This is not one of them.  I ordered carry out so not sure of the ambiance.  the delivery was prompt.

I love pizza, and have never had a pizza that I wouldn't eat again!  My husband and I tried Verona, and really liked it.  We had and XL, thin crust with mushroom and tomato, and it was enough for 3 meals for the two of us.  Price was appropriate for quality.  I wouldn't say it was phenomenal, but we enjoyed it when it was fresh as well as when we re-heated it in a toaster oven.  The dine-in area is simple, but cute. Menu includes a variety of items in addition to pizza.   Server was friendly.  Not a five star Chicago experience, but fine for a pizza joint.  Other pizzas we enjoy include:   Cappo's, JJ's pizza shack, Pizza Hut, Papa Johns....again, we really like pizza!  We'll definitely go back.
