I haven been coming to Tony's Place for as long as I can remember and it still remains my favorite hometown restaurant. The pizza in a pan with pepperoni, mushroom, onion and pepper is my standard order. My parents also enjoy the anti pasta salad. Friends from Chicago have tried to sell me on other deep dish pizzas, but I have yet to be convinced any other is comparable. I am slightly biased, but the hand-tossed dough and homemade sauce just keeps me coming back!
Review Source:Last time there sat in restaurant for 10 minutes or more and was never approached by anyone. No waitress, busboy, owner, nothing. The place was not even busy. Lifelong Valpo resident and will most likely never step in the place again.
Went right next door to B-dubs and was tended to immediately. Downtown has too many other choices whose staff is welcoming and want your business.
