Its kind of a mix between Chuck-E-Cheese and Doolies... definitely not a straight-up bar where you just hang out. They want you in-and-out. Its mostly just another crappy chain concept with a revolving-door of staff and frozen food - and there are no shortage of those along M59. Just come up with another name of a city and you have a new, hype restaurant concept (Boston's, Chicago's, Philly's, Baghdad's, Timbuktu's, etc.) The pizza is actually not bad. The best I can tell, its not that pre-sheeted dough and seems pretty legit. But if you are supposedly a "sports bar", can you please put the Wings game on and hire some hot women??? Sheesh.

Okay, upon friends suggestion I tried Boston's again.  They love this establishment, and maybe I had not given them a fair shot last time.  This time we ordered wings, both spicy garlic, and thai flavors...both were very good.  We also had the nachos and cheese fries..along with a couple of Sam Adams Cherry Wheat (on special) made for a fun Sunday afternoon for us gals.  I'd probably go back to Boston's when looking for that sports-on-tv experience, plus I'd like to try some of those yummy looking flat breads!

Located on busy Hall Road at Hayes, it looked crowded from the parking lot.  Once inside, the seating was ample.

Visited with family, there were 5 of us.  A variety of menu items were ordered, including a personal pizza, pulled pork sandwich, mac-n-cheese, kid's spaghetti and meatball, and cajun chicken & broccoli. A couple apple crisp desserts were ordered, as well as an ice cream sandwich for the little goober.  The food was good all the way around.

Service was excellent - Katlyn R. did an outstanding job.  Drink refills came without hesitation.

Nothing against this establishment, but I'm not too much into sports bars.  There are TVs everywhere.  It was a bit noisy, but overall, not too bad.

Pricing was a tad bit high, in my humble opinion.  But, they offer a generous military discount, so it wasn't too high for me!

They are offering a great deal on gift cards, but unfortunately, I didn't bring enough money to be able to take advantage of their offer.

I prefer Mom-n-Pop kinda places, so I rarely visit the chain establishments.  Obviously, my preferences flavor my reviews.

Not a fan!!  Just an other food chain outlet.  What's going on, why not go to some of the great local restaurants in town.  You get more for your money and a better meal.  Everything I eat tasted like it can from a box.  Ok I may just be one of those guys who like's a touch love and personality in the place's i dine.  But the drinks are really good.

Told me on the phone they had NFL Sunday Ticket. They don't. This is a bad chain restaurant masquerading as a sports bar. The bartenders seem more concerned with waiting on tables than tending bar. Apparently they can't change any of their two dozen TVs without their managers say so. After waiting 45 mins for this guy to come around, try to find the game, then tell me they don't have NFL Sunday Ticket. Didn't apologize. Horrible management skills. At least the bartender said she was sorry and bought me a beer. The wings were soggy. Kinda like pizza hut wings. The pizzas prob good but I'll never know. First and last time here. Live and learn.

Boston's is just an Okay place. It's not particularly good, but it's not terribly bad. I've been there several times and tried several different dishes and wasn't really wowed by any of them.

This was my first time coming here. I wanted to give it a try ever since I saw this place. I ordered the BBQ Chicken Pizza. It was an ok, I've had better. Also the service was slow and crappy. I am also BIG on receiving good costumer service when you are a service business. I don't know if I will be coming here again.

Went here before going to kart to kart. I was running late and my friends were already their so they ordered for me. I had them order me some  fish tacos (i watched "i love you man" a couple days before) . The food came to me right as i got to the table. The tacos were pretty good (i imagine the ones in "i love you man" were better tho). Service knew we were on a deadline and were quick and efficient. They had a large selection of mainstream beers on tap.  Unfortunately this place is located in to the heart of "the east side" which i avoid at all cost.

Absolutely love this place! I stopped in randomly and I'm so glad that I did. The staff was super friendly and even though they were slammed, we were never neglected. The pizza (artichoke) was the best I've ever had. Highly recommend.

The food at Boston's is definitely amazing, not to mention they're open late. The fried green beans appetizer is delicious, their ranch makes it even better. Service is slow sometimes, however, it is a very busy sports bar so its understandable that the servers are hard to catch here and there.

I read all the reviews on here before trekking out with my $25 gift card, so I didn't have high expectation, but i'm always hoping for the best!

This was the wrong place to be positive about, unfortunately.  Hey, I call em like I see em!

The place is nice enough, very BW3 or *insert generic sports bar here* like with lots of tvs and seating.  They have a general dining room too that is more family-friendly, but we were kid-less so we opted for the bar side.  Drinks came fast, and refills are free (thank God for $2.29!).  The waitress and hostess were cute and very pleasant/ friendly. I thought we were off to a good start!

Boo the naysayers i say, Boo!

We got the menu, which for this type of place, is just WAY TOO BIG!!

They say they're "gourmet pizza", but their menu has everything from pulled bbq pork to glazed salmon to an "Italian Trio" of alfredo, chicken parm, and lasagna.  then they have burgers and salads.. for Christ sake the apps alone take up two pages!! Starters, and More Starters... yikes!

I had read good things about the grilled steak crustini so we got that for an app.  the UH wanted pizza, but I didn't so he ordered the Sicilian and i ordered the baked shrimp scampi.

And we wait... and wait... and wait.  Now, mind you, the place was NOT busy at all!

25 minutes and 3 refills later our app FINALLY arrives.  It looks pretty good.   I took a piece of the steak off to try it alone and it....was..... cold.

Not cold, like it was left out and forgotten about so it got cold, but cold like the microwave just didn't do the trick.  This really pissed me off, and i rarely send shit back but COLD?? yuck!  The waitress took it away and apologized.

On a good note, another waitress (or manager maybe) came RIGHT over to apologize and said she will take it off the bill and she has "another steak on for your app right now! "

When she returned within 30 seconds with the same plate, now more scalding than the bottom of an active volcano, I wasn't surprised.  Mmmmm, "new" steak.  It tasted pretty rauncy by then, as microwaving meat will do sometimes, so i ate one and gave up.  the UH was starving and scarfed them all down.  I dont think he even tasted them!

Because we waited so long for the app in the first place, it was kind of expected that our entrees came out immediately after.  I was happy because I was still starving, and starting to get woozy from the 3-refill sugar high.

What I ordered was Baked Shrimp Scampi.  What I got was spaghetti with jarred alfredo sauce and a few thawed shrimp and tomatoes thrown in.  The waitress brought fresh ground pepper and fresh parm to the table which kind of confused me more.  what kind of place are they trying to be??

My food was hot and edible, but certainly nothing special, and most certainly not something that i haven't made myself in a pinch at home.

The last time I checked, Scamp doesn't have spagetti or alfredo sauce in it, but I was hungry so I ate till I was full.  At least they didn't totally ruin the shrimp. it was not rubbery yet, although it was "baked"  *i use this term loosely, as do they! *

UH's pizza was nice. the crust was was light and crispy, and the toppings were good.  He was pretty satisfied.

They have a wonderful glass enclosed patio around the outside that would be so fun in the summer with drinks and a few friends!

So, all in all, it wasn't a total loss.  Granted, I wouldn't go that far for a meal there again, but I did like the atmosphere and think they have potential.  I think if they simplified their menu and made it a little more pub-food than all the other things it's trying to be, they would have a great thing going for them.

Beyond horrible! We went there at 9:30 on a Tuesday, and it took over an hour to receive our food.  When it arrived 2 of the 4 meals were cold and our waitress did nothing about it.  She just said no way and never came back to our table.  The table next to us never received their bill and left  cash on the table.  I even contacted corporate and guess what?  I never heard from them!

We dined in for lunch. My Grilled Chicken was underdone...the manager/owner (not sure which position he held) was unacommodating and didn't believe me my chicken was too pink and chewy. I got my chicken re-grilled, but it wasn't with a sense of service, more of a sense of burden or annoyance. My guest's pizza lunch called "the Nooner" was unimpressive and sort of tasteless like a fast food pizza chain.
I don't think we will be returning.

My experience at Boston's was a solid one. The nachos appetizer was delicious with each chip being covered equally in toppings. The Florentine Pizza was delicious, but a bit expensive for what you get.

The service we received was absolutely excellent and the atmosphere was relaxed.

On this trip to Bostons I decided, I have to try the pizza. Am I glad I did, what an awesome pizza, chunks of sausage, diced meatballs, roasted red and green peppers, diced onions and a cornmeal crust!!! Throw in the 4$ mug of Budweiser, I was a happy camper!!

So, this place has been open what? 2-3 years? And I have yet to eat there. Considering it's on the "Hall Road Strip" with 2~3M chain restaurants, I guess a place like this can be hard to miss.

Well, I ask a neighbor to have lunch with me and we pick there. Why? I still don't know.

It was laid out like any other chain place, bar to the left, restaurant to the right.

We order garlic sticks, a meat lovers pie, and a couple Arnold Palmer's.

The sticks came out first, basically they took bread and dipped it in butter. Was it good? Sure! Will it stop my heart? Maybe after 3 of them.

Now the pie comes out. Looks OK, sausage, peperoni, ham, etc. The sausages were literally the size of golf balls. They didn't even hold onto the slice (which made NO sense).

The pizza tasted fine, but holy bleep was it greasy. The orange grease remnants looked like the Gulf of Mexico spill. After 3 slices (which were small), I was done...

5 minutes later. BLAMO. I had to run to the bathroom is a scene reminiscent of Dumb and Dumber. I call it Hungry Howies disease, because that is the only food that shoots through me faster than a bullet train...and Bostons had it beat in record time.

With that said, the bill was $32. For bread sticks, one pizza and 2 iced teas. Hardly worth the dime when I could have had Buddy's for a fraction of that. On top of that, I literally only rented the pizza for 3-4 minutes and my stomach barely got to make friends with it...

Will I go back? I seriously doubt it.

I am a little picky about my pizza. I like really good NY-Style (Original Ray's, SBarro's). I love really good, authentic Chicago style deep dish (e.g. Gino's East, Giordano's), and I can not leave out my absolute favorite and nationally underrated Detroit square-dish pizza (e.g. Jet's & Buddy's).

With that being said, I must admit I was biased against Boston's because it falls in the "none of the above" category.

We ate here as 2 couples, and Boston's served up some tasty nachos to us as an appetizer, the chips were in a nice big circle laid out, rather than one soggy big pile of chips. The chips themselves were almost fried and floury, which made them tastier and hold up better against sogginess. While there was ample melty cheeses (cheddar & mozzarella) black beans, olives, and mild jalapenos on the chips and a nice sour cream and salsa centerpiece - the taco beef we added to it was VERY lacking. I mean literally 5-6 specks of beef on each cheap. That was a stingy no-no. On the other hand our accompanying couple ordered the flat-iron steak crostinos, which were tasty medium-rare grilled steak strips over nice little toasty bread slices. That looked and tasted very appetizing.

Split between my and my GF, the nachos appetized us well. We ordered a Small sized Sicilan pizza, and with 8 small slices, the Small was perfect for an appetized and hungry pair of Midwestern folk. This particular pie had Italian sausage, pepperoni, basil, red onions, green peppers, tomatoes, and the obvious mozzarella cheese. Overall, this pizza had a good amount of toppings and cheese and the crust was soft and fluffy enough to not leave behind for the busboys.

However, the reason why I can't gather myself to give this place a stellar review, is because they take basic pan round pizza, with a crust that leans on the thinner end of the spectrum, make it moderately well, and then call it "the best gourmet pizza." Nuh uh, not in my book. This type of pizza is far too easy to come by to call it "gourmet."

All in all, I enjoyed this pizza, but it was nothing to write home about. I ate it with a fork and knife only cause they market it as gourmet. The mere presentation-quality of the pizza did not merit the fork and knife. As a couple, we used the free appetizer coupon for signing up on the email list, and compounded with 1/2 off pizzas for Sunday 5pm-close - it basically led to a bargain $6+tip bill for us. So at the dirt cheap price of $9 for me and my GF, I would say the value was awesome. But at the full price of $21+tax it would cost without coupons - nope - I would rather pick up some Buddy's, Chicago Uno's, or at least Green Lantern or Jet's!!!

My bf and I went for a late sunday night dinner here b/c the other couple told us about this free apps coupon they had from signing up for their e-club. Their bargain hunting ways is a trait we share in common with those fine folk, and so we joined the e-club too, got the coupon and headed on over.

It was probably busier than usual since it was Mother's day, but the service was great nonetheless. I was surprised to find it to be a really nice sports bar/grill with an awesome glass enclosed patio w/ heat lamps!

For our free apps we ordered the nachos with taco beef and our friends ordered their new flat iron steak crustini (Sliced Italian bread topped with mushroom pesto, Parmesan, rosemary-garlic butter and sliced, grilled flat iron steak). The nachos were really good, a little skimpy on the meat but I really enjoyed their homemade tortillas. The waitress let me in on why they were so amazingly crisp and didn't get soggy even with all the toppings: it's a blend of all purpose flour and corn flour. They were a perfect portion for me and my bf to share and get satisfyingly appetized. We were considering getting the flat iron steak crustini too but it looked kind of small, until they brought out our friend's plate and it was surprisingly big. I underestimated the portions of steak strips that would be on there and the were cooked medium rare which is perfect!

For their gourmet pizza's we ordered the Sicillian: spicy Italian sausage, smoked ham, sliced pepperoni, red onions, green peppers, fresh basil, tomatoes and mozzarella cheese. The pizza was a little more thin than I would like because I'm a huge fan of deep dish, but i'm also an even bigger fan of pizza in general, so if it was there in front  of me... believe you me i was gonna eat it and enjoy it! Our friends ordered the Tuscan: pomodoro sauce, roasted garlic, spinach, sun-dried tomatoes and spicy chicken with feta, mozzarella and cheddar cheeses.

The best part was when the bill came out.... the meal was already a good deal with only having to pay for the small pizza's we got. And then, we noticed their sunday special: 50% all pizzas!! The waitress explained that since it was a holiday, she was only told to give the traditional discount if the customer asked for it.... hmmm which is kind of a sly move on the management's part b/c it's not like the deal was invalid on holidays.... but she went back and gave us the discount. So..... 2 appetizers, and 2 small pizza's all for about $6 a couple (not including tip). Needless to say we will be back again on sundays! Also they have 50% off entire tab 10pm-close on any day.... so yes we will definitely be back!

All in all, this place is pretty much on par with (thus, similar to) such chains as Chilli's, Applebees, TGI Fridays, etc.  I had never heard of it before, but my little sis moved down the street and none of us knew the area, so we pulled in to the first restaurant we found.

They have a decent patio outside, which seems like it'd be nice on a warm evening for drinking, etc.  The inside, again, is similar to most chain restaurants.  Maybe a bit nicer, but your typical chain restaurant that tries to cater to both families and the drinking/sports crowd.  Lots of flat screens and table tents with happy hour/drink promotions.

The menu is so extensive that it can be overwhelming.  I was there with my fam for a quick lunch, but I could see my sis and I going back for drinks and catching a game in the bar area.  Anyway, they claim to be a pizza place, but they had tons of pasta, burger and sandwich options.  The fam and boyfriend all got burgers and LOVED them.  I hate burgers, but they looked really good, and everyone said they were cooked well, etc.  I got a french dip, and it was pretty good, but nothing special.

The service was prompt, but hey, it was 3:30pm on a Friday, so they were dead.

Overall, a good choice.  Nothing truly fantastic or special about the place, but the food is decent, if not good, and they have drink specials, so it fits the bill.

I had a great experience here last Wednesday night that I just gotta SHOUT about.

Having closed down a funeral home, we arrived at Boston's front door at 9:30 pm with 30 people. Now I'm sure that entire staff was ready to wind the evening down, but they handled our group with smiles and good cheer.

Food was good and delivered quickly. Drinks were better. I told my waitress I wanted the biggest Margarita she could muster. She delivered a glass that could have been used as a fish bowl for two.

And our waitress Christina was AWESOME! Thanks for a great time on a night where we really needed it.

I've eaten at this place a few times in the past few months, and I'm starting to like it more and more. When I first ate there, I heard they were known for their pizza, but I wasn't overly impressed with it. But giving their pizza more tastes, and trying other things on the menu I'm a fan now.

I would highly recommend their Mama Meata Bowtie pasta. That might be my favorite thing on their menu, which is full of lots of choices. I would also recommend their Southwestern Raviola for an appetizer.

I've yet to try their deserts, because I'm normally too full, but the desert menu looks delicious, so I might save room next time I go there.

This place is definitely worth a visit, and the wait staff is pretty cool and friendly. It also helps that they have TV's everywhere to watch sports.

Did you know Boston's is from Canada?  My boyfriend (who lived in Boston at the time) and I came here and asked them why there were no Boston's remotely near Boston.  Our waiter seemed surprised we would ask.

I've had their pizza, multiple times, multiple types and they've all been good.  This past week, however, I tried something new in regards to their pizza.  I tried their whole wheat crust.

They have a "Healthy Hints" section of their menu all with choices that are under 15g of fat.  This is huge.  If you start to look at restaurants and their menus, many meals have upwards of 60g of fat!  Yikes!  Since I'm on a 12 week program with a nutritionist and am on week 8 I thought that I'd have to wait the additional 4 weeks before I could indulge in pizza again, I was wrong.

Upon seeing the healthy section of the menu and looking up the information online before I went I thought I could deal with it.  I'm also trying to eat more wheat things so I went for the wheat crust for an addition 79 cents (I believe).  It was fantastic.  The sauce was just phenomenal and the melted cheese...Mmmmm.  I was not disappointed.  The individual sized pizza was about a slice to much (I started with a side salad), but I thought perfectly portioned.

The ranch is awesome might I add.  A friend of mine and I both are major ranch lovers and eat it on many many things.  Our waiter didn't completely comprehend how much ranch we needed as we kept having to ask him for it over and over.  We even joking requested a "bucket" of ranch.  Eventually he brought out a tray full of those little cups with ranch.  Perfect.

Although the food has always been great, I agree with the other yelpers in saying my service has been subpar.  I often feel like when I am there I am looking for someone of the waitstaff because I need a refill (or more ranch ;)).

On the plus side, they have a cal ahead policy that helps me when I'm on a tight work schedule.  If you call ahead and tell them when you are going to be there and what you want to order they have it ready for you.  You can go right in sit and not have to wait for your food to be ordered and made.  It's very helpful.

They also usually have coupons in the weekly coupon book things we get in the mail.

The pies are pretty good but the service is definitely weak - slow and unattentive. The portabella and fried cheese appetizers blow but the spinach artichoke is decent.

    All and all, average.

If you like pizza you won't be short of choices here!  So far I have liked everything I ordered.  Boston's is a place where you can get a  real sit down meal and watch a game...it carries that  nice balance of restaurant/sports bar atmosphere.  The wait  to be seated is no more than a couple minutes even when the parking lot is packed.
I have ordered  and liked the following:
Southwest Quesadilla starter--this was awesome, not too spicy and its on a light crispy style tortilla...it hits the spot!
BBQ Chicken pizza--I was never a fan of chicken on my pizza but this is really good the bbq sauce  is what makes it!
Sicilian pizza--the meat  on here  are in huge chunks so if your a meat lover...need I say more
Roasted garlic chicken pizza--this was thin crust  with cut garlic cubes on it which makes the taste very strong but oh so good!
I would also like to add that the waitstaff is great.  I didn't need to request refills for my drinks or anything else...they were pretty on top of it.
I have to give this place a thumbs up!
