Brazenhead Irish Pub

I was not exactly impressed with Brazenhead. I have waffled back and forth over how many stars to give after one visit. We went to Brazenhead the day before St. Patrick's Day, which should have really amped up the festivities. There were definitely plenty of patrons, but nothing exactly exciting going on that night.

Irish-themed, the staff wear kilts, but that's about as far as I felt the theme went. The menu seemed to have as many German recipes on it as it did Irish. The food was good though - no complaints about the preparation. I was a little surprised that the "Fish and Chips" came with saratoga-style chips instead of authentic chips - I had to order french fries. We were also a little disappointed that they were out of some of the menu items, since we were not there all that late (appx. 7:30-8:00pm seating).

Given some of the previous reviews on Brazenhead, I expected less than what I got. I was expecting either bad service or bad food, or severe slowness. I did not really see any of that, even though it was a busy night. I just was not wowed with Brazenhead as an Irish pub. I would return, but it is not at the top of my favorites list.

We went to Brazenhead last night and the experience was okay. The beer choices and service are good. Our server was particularly delightful but unfortunately the food was boring/ gross. I had a chipotle chicken salad that consisted mostly of iceberg lettuce and some disgusting chipotle dressing. I wish I hadn't put the dressing on since I would have been better off eating plain iceberg lettuce. My husband had a jerk chicken wrap that had canned pineapple and mango in it. His chicken was seasoned well but all the cheap fixings in his wrap made it kind of gross. We felt really bad not finishing even half of our meals since our server was so nice.

Horrible management. Charged $20 cover then told it was for band starting in 2/12 hours. Asked for money back. Manager said TOUGH.
