    Lunch & a movie!
If you show your movie ticket, you'll get a free dessert.
I was in town with 3 kids awaiting our movie time, so lunch it was.
I had the Salmon Tacos, 2 kids had bacon burgers and my main man had the childs chicken quesadilla.
The meals were hot, tasty and filling. Service was friendly and prompt.
Perfect for a nice summer afternoon.

I've been a few times now. Every time it's either the food that sucks or the service. This last experience will be last time I go.

We sat outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. The bartender was our waitress and ignored us most of the time. I watched  2 different couples sit and leave in the hour in a half we were there due to not even getting menus within 10 minutes of sitting.

Food was ok not great not bad. But the service! OMG! I had 2 beers hubby had 3. We get the bill and it says one price. He gives her his debit card. She goes and runs it and returns for signature. When he goes to sign somehow the bill jumped up $5? He goes and asks why and her response was "I forgot to ring up your last beer". Ummm so you just automatically do it after you take his card and can't come say something??

As we are leaving he examines his bill again and notices that she charged us for 6 beers! So she overcharged us! We had to go back in and she gave the money back. No apology, nothing.

Gross overpriced food and service sucks!

Took my son to Bremerton Bar and Grill for a great way to end boys day!  The food was outstanding and the service was great.  My son loves to rate restaurants with me, he gave it 5 stars as well, (a first for him).  Side note, the onion rings are the best i've ever had, this is a bit upsetting, since i've always considered my homemade onion rings to be the best...the boy confirms that BBG's onion rings are a bit better.

Thanks BBG for the great experience, we look forward to our next visit....wife and daughter along for the ride this time.

For the love of Baby Jesus, can anyone tell me why cooks put nearly raw bacon on top of a hamburger?

I ordered "Well done".  (I would think that should have been a clue that this customer prefers his meat cooked, without a shadow of a doubt).

If you can wrap a slice of bacon around your finger and it doesn't break at least a couple times, IT ISN'T DONE!

I liked the restaurant, no other complaints.  I'll be back when I hear/see reports of  hot crispy bacon being served. :)

This place is all potential. And then you go there... again. We have been there twice in the last month after saying we shouldn't go back six months ago because of the Groupon we each bought on the same day! Each time, it has been disappointing. The last time just topped it all off...

    The Service is Lacking
As usual, there was no one up front to seat us. Then when someone came by to help us, we were also told the person helping us could take our drink orders, but was not actually our waitress. Our actual waitress was "busy with other things." Then, I couldn't get water refilled and actually had to hail our first "not your waitress" from across the room after 20 minutes. When our actual waitress showed up, she never even said hello, I'm your waitress, etc., just took our order and left.

    The Food is Mediocre
Each time we have been there, they have been out of at least one of the things my party has tried to order. Seriously, fourth time in a row... most times being more than one item. This time, they were out of the vodka for the drink I ordered, the menu touted something for Sundays which we were told they discontinued but weren't replacing the menus for a "few weeks".

Then the food comes. And all I can say is that the salads are literally drowning in dressing, the hamburger has lettuce that looks like it sat under a hot lamp, and oh yes, this past weekend, I ordered fish tacos. They smelled so fishy that I really wasn't so sure I wanted to eat much and didn't. They came with chips and salsa and I got three chips and a massive chip-ball. Seriously, who is checking their plates? On the up side, the hummus and fries were pretty good.

    The Price is Not Right
Each time we go, we both say the same thing. It could be so good. But for what we paid, we could have gone to Silver City and had good to great food and awesome service for the same price.

    Bottom Line
A good enough place for a drink and an app. Skip the meal.

Have been in for lunch five or six times since they opened, and I've left happy at least once.  The food quality is hit or miss, and the pricing isn't very appropriate for the overall experience provided.  In fact, I will probably only visit when they run their deals on Groupon (typically $15 for $30).

They have a neat deal with the SeeFilm movie theater down the street; a free appetizer if you bring in your ticket stub, or free popcorn if you bring your receipt to the theater.  They have a $10/10 minute menu for those in a hurry, and it is relatively close to the ferry if you are looking for a quick lunch.

I've never had a terrible experience here, and I will probably go back (rooting for the underdog is a major flaw of mine).  I personally wouldn't recommend this restaurant over any other in Downtown Bremerton, but I wouldn't tell anyone not to give them a shot either.

I am so confused about this place. The first time I ate here it was with my 2 kids, my in-laws and my husband. My chicken was good, and they all said their food was fine. The waitress was nice, no big deal. We all wanted to go back. Well to our dismay we did. We sat outside after waiting 5 minutes to even be acknowledge by a "hostess". After sitting outside we were pretty much ignored. Took 20 minutes to get our dink orders in and served, and then he just walked away without taking our orders. So while we sipped our drinks (waters and ice tea) we heard a loud splat! My husband had been pooed on by a, what I can only explain as an enormous pterodactyl, bird. It splattered off my husbands bald head and into our drinks, all over our clothes, napkins, kids menu's and even landed behind us on the table. Everyone around us was aware of what happened, and it was embarrassing.... especially because there was NO ONE from the staff around to help us move tables. I had to go hunt down my server and when I did he had a hand full of drinks. I asked him if we could move because we had gotten pooped on by a bird. His exact words were "sure, just move"...... yeah, thanks buddy. When I got back to the table I watched him serve the drinks and then move on to another table and begin taking their order. So apparently he meant, "Yeah, go ahead and move on your own, to whatever table you like." My kids were upset and our drinks were ruined so I turned to a busser that was clearing the table behind us off and told him the same story about getting pooped on. I said "do we just move to whatever table?" His reply "you have to find a hostess for that." Then walked away. There was no empathy, no "let me help you find one", not even a "ew, that sucks." By the time I found a hostess and we were sat  at a new table I wanted to leave, even before eating. My husband told me to calm down, and shortly after we received our food. He got the wings and said they were good. But my kids both got grilled cheese sandwiches. Don't even get me started. The bread was huge so what do they do? They added ONE piece of kraft singles to the middle and (I didn't see grill marks or browning) heated up in the microwave. Both my kids ate the cheese out of the middle then ate their fries and our fries and left hungry. My chicken sandwich was so dry I actually had to order 1000 island dressing to add to it so I didn't choke. It was a miserable experience. After relaying all of this to a friend of mine she felt lead to call and tell them. (She knows we are on a tight budget and can't afford to go out a lot, so when something like this happens it's really disheartening.) She called to complain and when she explained to the girl (Amanda) on the phone what happened she laughed at her. That only pissed her off more. The manager (also named Amanda I believe) gave us a $25 gift card, but I am reluctant to go back. The funny thing is, after telling a couple people about what happened they ALL had stories that resounded the same; bad service, over cooked food, and waiting FOREVER for the check! My friend (I won't name her) even said that a male waiter gave her entire table of food away to another table and then realizing his mistake forgot to replace the order. They ended up leaving after waiting well over an hour, to catch a movie. So I don't feel bad for this place AT ALL!

I'd give 1.5 stars if that was an option. I opted for 2 because we did eat the food. 1 star is when it's so bad you just leave. Bought the groupon last week, went tonight. Husband says burger was "terrible", and he's usually VERY easy going about his burgers. Son's steak was overcooked and low quality meat to begin with. My chicken with mushrooms was sort of be-slimed. It was also dry & overdone & badly in need of salt. Vegis were hopelessly bland. Drinks were expensive too. $3.50 for a lemonade & then the waiter offered my son a refill-- which of course the child accepted-- and charged $1.50 for it. Don't offer refills of sodas, tea, etc... unless refills are free. People think they're free & then they get IRKED (like i am!!) when they see they were duped by some smooth talking waiter.. Sodas were $2.50 each. Summation--- Pros? Portions were generous, service adequate, bathroom smelled nice. Cons? Overpriced food that didn't taste very good. We won't be back.

This place did not fail to disappoint. Went in with the girlfriend for dinner, service wasn't bad but the food was! The fish tacos tasted like they've been sitting forever and the rice that came with the jambalaya was old and hard...yes hard rice because they did not serve us freshly steamed rice, but instead rice thats been sitting that they even failed to put in the microwave long enough to soften again!

The Bremerton Bar & Grill was extremely disappointing. I heard good things about it from friends and heard that they started serving breakfast on the weekends. I LOVE breakfast. I am always excited to try new breakfast. I got scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast. I also decided to have a Mimosa. The eggs were rubbery and looked like they were sitting under a heat lamp for quite some time before being served, the toast and bacon were forgettable. My drink took a long while to come out, and when it did it was very poorly mixed. I finished it hoping that being slightly buzzed would help with the taste of my food, but it did not.

I tried again for lunch. I had a grilled ruban. It was a good sandwich, a bit heavy on the sauerkraut though, and rather over priced. The fries that came with it were VERY over seasoned. The service was slow. It wasn't busy. Our waitress would disappear for long periods of time, our glasses were always empty, and at the end of the meal, I had to flag down the hostess to get our check.

I was thinking of giving it another try, but my boyfriend talked me out of it.

I seem to find myself here more often than I would like, mostly because of the convenient location in downtown Bremerton and the food is fairly good when you finally get it. The main complaint I have is the service. They don't seem to employ a hostess, so it's up to the wait staff to seat you, if they happen to be passing by. Even if you happen to catch someone in the front as you enter, they are more likely to walk off and leave you standing there then acknowledge your presence.

Once you are finally seated, the service doesn't improve. A friend and I came here recently for dinner with plans to go to a movie afterwards. We gave ourselves 90 minutes... what we thought would be plenty of time. It was a full 15 min. before anyone approached us to even ask for our drink order. It took another 10 min. for her to come back with our drinks and take our order and another 30 min. to get our food even though my friend just ordered a bowl of soup and I ordered the sliders. With 20 minutes to spare, we tried to get the check from our waitress and told her we were in a hurry. We didn't make it.

We had a gift certificate to here so we decided to try it. We had the calamari, I had the slider trio and my hubby had the Ultimate dip. Only one problem and that was since the waitress didn't write down the order or repeat it to us my husband got the regular dip, but once the error was pointed out it was fixed in a few minutes and the staff was very nice. The food was worth the trip. We are planning on going back for their Moday drunk triva, and or to have a private party in the vault room, which is a real bank vault.

No issues here, met some friends for cocktails and we sat ourselves at the back couches and watched the game and enjoyed happy hour drinks. We had some chips and salsa but other than that didn't eat here. Our waitress was attentive and served us when needed. I have read and heard mixed reviews but to be honest we were there before 5:00 and when we left at 7:00 quite a few people were arriving and the restaurant was full. I would expect this from any decent place in Kitsap county. You have to wonder if your immediately seated when you arrive to a place that you have a reservation or the place isn't as popular. I would go back.

We came in and it wasn't busy. The hostesses looked at us for three minutes before asking if we had been helped, which we politely replied no. She sat us and we waited six to seven minutes before our server even came to get our drink order. Then he brought our drinks and left, even though we were clearly ready to order. We waited another five minutes to finally order. The food arrived expeditiously, but was over cooked and bland. I haven't been this disappointed in a restaurant in a long long time.

Let me start off by saying that I created this yelp account strickly to yelp this unacceptable business.. The first time my husband and I went here, we waited for almost an hour for our food to arrive. After seeing several parties that had arrived after us receive their orders, we inquired with the server as to how much longer we were lookin' at. He came back and apologized, stating that he had inadvertently forgotten to put out order in, and that there was no food being prepared for us as of yet. It was not a huge deal; the place was really busy and we understand that everyone makes mistakes, and we were very understanding and polite with the server. We had a movie to catch, and were unable to order and wait again, so the manager came over and gave us two free entree coupons for our next visit. A few weeks later, we decided to come again, and brought our 14 year old and our 9 year old. My husband and I ordered our two free entrees, and our 14 year old ordered a hamburger from the "happy hour" menu, costing $4.99. The service was mediocre, and very lengthy. When we were ready to leave and requested the check, it took 18 minutes for the waitress, Amanda, to bring the check back. Anddddd, when she did bring it back, she had used the two free entree coupons we had received on the cheaper of the two entrees and the $4.99 hamburger, leaving my $21.00 steak entree at full price!? She very "matter of factly" stated that this is how it works. It wasn't until I had a manager come over and explained the situation that they RELUCTANTLY switched it around (this whole process took another 20-25 minutes). It was a very frustrating and insulting experience, where we felt like we had to convince them to do the right thing!? The food was tasty, but surely not worth the stress and embarrassment that was caused by the service staff on both occasions. My family and I will not be returning... Ever...

We came in on a Saturday night with no reservations, but got lucky and there wasn't a wait.  But as soon as the hostess walked up to the counter, a representative from three different groups bombarded her with questions about seating.  My wife and I hung back, but I politely informed the hostess that we were here before anyone else had shown up and she assured us that we'd be taken care of first and we were.  Good on her, bad on impatient Bremerton cretins.

Chris was our server, and he was awesome.  Really on top of things and accommodating.  The happy hour pricing was awesome, and we got 4 drinks, 2 apps and 2 entrees for half of what we paid at Silvercity for 4 drinks, 1 app and 1 entree.  Oh, more on Chris: I added avocado to my burger and when it arrived it had one sad little slice on it.  When I asked Chris how much the add avocado charge was he looked at my burger and said, "That's all they put on.  I'll be right back" and came out with what looked like 1/3 of an avocado sliced.  Kudos!

Well will return, most likely during happy hour.

We came here around 5 pm on a Saturday, with 5 kids under the age of 8. We were seated right away, in a perfect little nook off on our own, with a great view of the terminal and water.

Our waiter was pretty friendly, but man was he an up-seller...you know...every time you order he throws out there that you can add on x, y, and z for additional $$...

Our table shared an appetizer order of spicy mac and cheese balls and onion rings. Both were pretty tasty. I ordered the Baja tacos with shrimp and tortilla chips. My husband ordered the french dip, and the girls split a cheese quesadilla. My tacos were okay, the kitchen ran out of the pineapple salsa that was supposed to come with it, so the waiter brought out pico de gallo to substitute. The tortilla chips and salsa were good as well, overall I thought the portion was pretty small. My husband really enjoyed his french dip, and the cheese quesadilla was huge, so perfect for sharing.

I definitely would like to try some of their other offerings in the future. The restaurant decor is nice, as is the ambiance. And, they had a lot of menu items that looked appetizing.

My husband and I have eaten here several times and everytime we go, I leave asking myself why my husband likes it so much. I get the salmon, he gets the hamburger. The salmon was smothered in so much hollindaize sauce I could barely taste the salmon.  I tell people this place is just an overpriced Apple Bees with out the awesome drink specials. Hopefully my husband will stop insisting we go here so I can get a decent plate of fish.

    Very needed in downtown Bremerton!

This is an great sit down bar and grill restaurant with a lively bar vibe and some quality items on the menu.  I have been here a few times and had something different each time.  The burger was great (get the waffle fries!  Superb!) the fish and chips was also solid.

If I were stuck waiting for a ferry or just in Bremerton at meal time, I would give this a go without hesitation

Bremerton Bar and Grill...my love affair with you has sadly ended...let me give you the reasons why I am breaking up with you....my husband has been wondering why I had this love/hate relash with you, because he has always thought of you as a one star type joint.  I guess it was the ambiance you gave off...like I was right in Seattle in a classy, jazzy joint...oh my, how it has changed...

Your menu change...it wasn't broke, why did you try and "fix" it...
Your staff...all look like someone pissed in their Wheaties.  Especially the sloppy dressed over weight dude one (that used to tend bar and now appears to be a floor manager/food runner) who when he walked by REEKED of hot boxing ciggs in the parking lot.  SERIOUSLY?!  That is a disgusting smell to have to forced on you when you are about to eat. Your staff needs to SMILE.  Act like you love your job, EVEN IF THAT MEANS FAKING IT!  And, I can spot a pack a grazers a mile away, as I work in retail management and can tell you that I can see when the staff chats and doesn't work their section.  Its hella annoying on the customer end.
Your food...bland, bland, bland.  As my husband says, you have the actual technique of the cooking down, but the execution lacks..seasoning can be your friend, if you aren't afraid to use it.  That, and if you are going to make pancakes, don't use the same pan that you fried something else in....he can taste it in the pancakes.
$5.00 Steak night...you used to have good cuts of beef.  Now?  What the hell did you serve me?  Oh, and forget about me asking the waitress a question.  Turn and burn...Seriously, you are overpriced for what you get out of it, the food, ESPECIALLY the service.
I told my husband to kick me hard next time I even relapse and think about going to you.

The waitstaff were quick , knowledgable & attentive . Our drinks were great ( the flavored Lemon Drop was fantastic ) . Happy Hour food was phenomenal . Definitely one of Bremerton's best kept secrets !!

Went for an early dinner after a movie. We shared the wings. Didn't like it at all since they use the jumbo size wings and we prefer the smaller size ones. Hubby got a burger which he didn't like and I got the cod and chips which tasted frozen. But we both loved the dessert of apple caramel cobbler. That was the highlight of our dinner but our server (can't remember her name) was really good and attentive. She does not hover around but almost always there when we needed her. We called her for a box for take away and she already had it with her. The same when we were ready for our bill. We will go back even if it's just for the dessert and the good service.

Great lunch spot.  Need a quick lunch?  This place has a list of lunch specials:  For $10 you get a drink and an entree, and its guaranteed to be served within 10 minutes.  I ate here for lunch today and saw several people ordering from that lunch special menu.... those entrees looked pretty awesome.

I however wanted to get a "Prime Dip" from the regular menu.  The roll it came on was awesome.  The beef itself was tasty, however, it was cut too thick so it was impossible to take normals bites of it like a normal sandwich.  Also, I must've been unlucky because there was a monstrous amount of gristle in the meat sliced for my sandwich.  I had to take it off the sandwich and cut the gristle off the meat with a knife before I was able to eat it.  Au jus was good.  I got mine with sweet potato fries, which were simply fried to perfection and served with a homemade dill-ranch dressing which was quite tasty.

Interior was mordern and nice.  Bathrooms very clean.  Staff was busy and very friendly.  All around a great spot.

We needed a place for a quick breakfast and the locals recommended Bremerton Bar & Grill.  We are so glad we stopped, it was one of the best breakfasts we've had in a long time.  All around great prices, super attentive staff (must have read previous reviews) and yummy food.  We would eat here again and recommend to friends.  Both of my growing teens also loved it!  They left full and happy.

Just a quick tip:  if you're staying in one of the local hotels, they typically have a BOGO coupon.  They accepted it!

Talk about leaving a bad taste in your mouth... WOW, that's just what happened here. We walked in while waiting for the last ferry of the night to Seattle and it took about 10 minutes for someone to help us.

We then asked if the kitchen was still open and we were told for Happy Hour appetizers only, but they were half price. After ordering drinks (Water and a soda) it took forever to get our food. When we got it, it tasted like rubber.

The ambiance was nice, I guess, I mean the restaurant was cool looking. It has a bank vault with a table for parties, meetings etc. Like it used to be a bank, but I don't know the history of Bremerton.

There were two guys at the bar that were drinking a lot and it seemed as if one had already had an "issue" with his dinner and was back at the bar to "re-up" that issue. (no pun intended).  He was loud and it was uncomfortable and the bartender kept walking away, but no one stopped serving him or asked him to leave.

All I know was that it was $13.00 for nothing special and I was still hungry when we left. That does not a good eating experience make. Somehow I still end up here when I venture out to Bremerton.

The service was so inattentive that by the time she finally came to check on us we were ready for our check to get out of there.  We never got refills on beverages, nor were asked if we wanted more french fries, nor did she ever come and ask us if we like our food at all.
There was no hostess at the front door.  We waited several minutes before being acknowledged. The place was only about 1/4 full, yet our waitress seemed to disappear often. I never saw a manger walking around attending to the staff or guests.
The food was not that good for the prices being charged.  I will not go back.  Just plain disappointing all around.  Please, spend your money elsewhere.

My 3rd venue choice since moving to the Sound area had been a hat trick folks! The Bremerton B&G has also impressed me with its service, ambiance, theme and of course food selection and food quality. I came in last night (Saturday) about 830pm and found the place mildly busy with several folks at the bar watching baseball or the Olympics on several of their flat screen TV's they have set up all over the interior of the restaurant.

I came here after seeing all the daily and weekly specials they offer at this place which are just awesome! 2 daily happy hour periods, daily menu specials and 2x a week military appreciations nights, breakfast specials on weekends (how many B&G's offer that!) so I had to go check it out myself.

I sat at the bar and was attended to quickly. It took me a while to even decide on what I wanted as they had many items seafood, steak, burgers, salads and sandwich that all looked very appealing to me. I finally settled on the prime dip with a substitution of straight cut sweet potato fries.

This was a worthy menu selection as this is how a prime rib dip should be made. A Ciabatta roll to soak up and withstand the (correctly made) juicy meat and au jus dipping sauce. The meat should be tender and juicy, flavorful and moist. This version also had the classic provo cheese melted in as well as some kind of a ranch like mayo sauce that really added a nice punch to the whole deal.

As a true sucker for sweet potato fries anywhere and anytime I was delighted by this option and equally impressed with the quality of the fries. Not some seeminly store bought frozen and baked types many places try and offer as "fresh cut". Try dipping these in your au jus as I did and your in for a little surprise!

My whole bill was $15 without a drink and tip not factored in. Price was worth the quality and the service. Given the overall feel of this place I will be back here many time just to take part in the specials alone besides some darn good food.

Generally I am a big fan of this place.  I have been here numerous times for happy hour, breakfast on the weekends, and dinner.  I have had a flaky server twice out of all the times I've been here, but generally the service is great.

The atmosphere is pretty good.  It's newer and laid out pretty well.  They have a nice patio you can sit on when the weather is actually nice.  It's pretty close to the ferry, which is nice.  They have a private room you can rent that is an old bank vault - pretty cool!  Oh and bonus points for having a parking lot of their own (though it's kind of hard to find) and "validating" parking for the garage nearby.  Really they just deduct up to a certain amount (I think $6) off the parking for the garage nearby if you show them your receipt.

Ok, onto the food.  Their breakfast is pretty good.  I am a big fan of the breakfast tacos.  I suggest getting them with bacon, but if you get them with sausage ask them to cut up the sausage or else you'll just get a sausage link in your taco.  The last time we were there, they had an appetizer of pancakes with sweet sauce on their "fresh sheet" and those were a big win too!

If you're here for HH I suggest the following items:  coconut prawns (so delicious and always cooked well), fried habenero mac n cheese balls, and finish with the bacon mac n cheese with chicken (big enough you could share with a friend even in HH portion).  I didn't say you'd be eating well.  Their hummus plate is also delicious and comes in pretty good portion as well.  The rest of their HH menu sandwiches are really big enough to be a meal so don't over order.  YUM!  I now think I need to head there for some HH!

Bummbertown is starting to not become such a bummer...although getting to this place is number one confusing if you are driving. You have to go to the far left lane as if you are going to board the ferry then take the 2nd left to park. Once you are there you enter on the outside seating area to be seated. We came on the other side which there is also a seating station but staff just ignores you until you make a scene to get seated.

This is a pricy so so quality food establishment.. I had a burger with blue and cream cheese and it was sort of nasty but the fries were pretty good. It tasted mainly of the grill and was too soggy to eat with the hands. My mom had a patty melt with way too much fat and when she commented to the wait staff she could have gotten another one. Staff stated they didn't like the patties there. Dad had a French dip and seemed to enjoy it.

Where we were seated we had a nice view of the tattooed cooks and staff talking over the meals. If you find that you've started getting sick shortly after you ate here this is the place that made you sick. Sure they put on gloves but they do let those gloves become tattered. What I saw could alarm the health board for sure!

Way over priced food and drinks.
Staff completely inattentive. Tried to get their attention multiple times for napkins, water any kind of service, ended up getting the bus boy to get items for us while his coworkers chatted it up with each other at the hostess podium.
Burger was large, but not worth talking about, bland.
Drinks= weak and expensive for a well vodka cran, in a short glass non the less.
Had one drink and a burger/fries paid 19 bucks, during lunch time on a weekday.
Should have waited till I was back on cap hill and spent less for better quality.
So not going to be going here when we move out that way in a week.

I have to say that since my first review, the Bremerton Bar & Grill has turned around! The last couple of times we've been to the Grill, our service has been great and the food has been decent.  I still think it is a bit over priced when it isn't Happy Hour, but their HH menu totally makes up for it! Portions are smaller and the food is really reasonably priced--I had the caesar salad with blackened salmon off of the Happy Hour menu and it was a generously sized piece of salmon and the whole thing was about $8. They also serve breakfast now and it's pretty good!

Sorry I gave you such a hart time BBG--you're okay in my book now!

Lunch was of average quality the first 2 times we visited. We tried dinner a few weeks ago. It was horrible!! My husbands pot pie was tasteless and when I cut into my fried chicken it splurted blood and it was RAW down to the bone! The fried chicken was a "special" and they said something must be wrong with the fryer. Ok, they should check the performance of the fryer and the quality of the chicken BEFORE it goes out to the customer!!
When they came to the table to inform us that they were going to "86" the fried chicken I wonder what they thought I would say?? I said "good, you could kill someone!"  How can a chicken look burnt on the outside and be raw to the bone on the inside?? They will not be getting another chance.

Didn't find anything here overly exciting.  Food was fine but all seemed under-seasoned.

I've eaten here at least four times (likely more) and every-time I feel about the same.  Meh.

Service is good but overall the food just isn't exciting enough to keep my coming back.

The main reason i am giving the 4* rating is for the happy hour.  I happened upon it the first time i came here and was stoked.  Other then that it's over priced and just ok.

During happy hour i got the hummus plate and a couple of beers. Their hummus is delish and They had arrogant bastard on tap(YAY!).  all together, it ended up being $14 ish....not bad at all.

when i went back there, it was per-happy hour and i perused the menu for about 5 minutes....I was in search of cheap and vegan friendly.  My search was in vain. they have garden burger for veggie patty(veggie, not vegan) and everything other then side of fries or side salad was over $10.

Then my waitress came and helped my solve my problem.  apparently they have a Mediterranean wrap that's on whatever menu i wasn't looking at, that i could order without feta and ala carte for like $7. SOLD!

For future reference, happy hour is the prime time for dining and drinking here and is probably the only time you'll see me here.  This is a bummer because they have really good outside seating...it's prime on a sunny day.

I sort of wish you could rate different aspects of this place. This is a solid 3 star normal pricing and a 4 star happy hour.

The good? The food is solid. Nothing mind blowing. Nothing spectacular. Just solid and leaning towards portions that are too large and priced at a point that makes going here something that I can't just afford to do casually or regularly. It's a beautiful building. The staff has always been excellent (even bringing my dog some water without asking while I ate outside).

Enter happy hour. Portions are smaller but the prices are in line with the quality and I don't feel like I'm going to need take out as soon as I get my food. It's a reasonable thing to eat and it counts for a lot. The patio is completely wonderful to sit out on with a cold beer and a burger. Sitting out there makes you feel like Downtown is actually a decent place to be and that the area can turn around. The TV screens are well placed and it's a comfortable, completely non-divey place to watch sports at. Worth your time.
