Went here twice over last weekend.  The first time I was not too impressed by the food quality but the beer was very good according to everyone that drank it.

However the second time they let us host a wedding toast after a friend's wedding at the river walk.  These guys are really nice and were unbelievably generous with their space.  They let us bring in our own champagne and cupcakes to setup for the after party of our friends nuptials.  We agreed that people would still order off the menu but what a great group of guys for helping us out after we needed a space and the bar manager at the Silver Legacy cancelled on us at the last minute.

Pretty good IPA. They are not joking with the intense hop bitterness. We ordered the pretzel (baked in the wood fire pizza oven) with beer ale cheddar cheese. We enjoyed it.

What have you done to the food!!

The buffalo chicken pizza was my favorite choice.  New chef comes along and completely ruins it.  First of all, they renamed it the "Cluck Cluck" (horrible name - embarrassed to even utter it to the waiter). Secondly, they've added blue cheese all over it.  Yuck! Blue cheese plus buffalo wing sauce is completely disgusting.  Lastly, they now "drizzle" warn ranch over the top of the pizza.  So not only does it have a stupid name, it also taste like garbage and looks perverted.

Today I ordered the tried and true apple chicken salad, thinking that you can't mess up a salad.  Wrong!  The salads used to be around $8 - pretty standard for a big salad at nicer places.  Now the price is $11.25.  For salad.  At least it comes in that giant bowl, though right? No.  No it doesn't.  It comes on a small rectangular plate like for appetizers.  The salad used to have dried cranberries, walnuts, apples, chicken, and a fancy cheese crumbled on top.  Tonight there were no cranberries.  The cheese is supposedly the same kind, but instead of crumbles it was served in thick slices on the corners of the little plate. They didn't even bother to cut off the rind.  Furthermore, the cheese was soft like brie, not crumbly for a salad.  Was I supposed to spread the cheese on the lettuce leaves??

You can, in fact, mess up a salad by charging $3 more for about 1/3 of the orignial serving size, and change the ingredients for worse.  It's the little things that matter, too - cut the rind off the damn cheese before you serve it for cryin out loud. Also, blue cheese overwhelms every other flavor.  Some people may have that aquired taste, but most people aren't fond of moldy cheese taking over their favorite dish.  Especially the type of people who go to a sports bar for food.  I'm so disappointed with Brew Brothers right now.  Not sure if its the new chef or what, but they are way off whatever it is they're trying to accomplish.

This location is located in inside the Silver Legacy or El Dorado Casino.  I am not sure which it is actually attached to.  But it is along the walk way which connects the casinos.

Visited during my stay in Reno for the bowling tournament.

I had a Gut Buster Burger.  And it lived up to its name!!!  Bacon, grilled cheese sandwich between a huge burger..

We went back a second time for happy hour while we were there. Nice discount beers and discount appetizers.  Only had the stout beer, but it was exceptional. Friends also tried variety of beer and were happy.  Had wings during happy hour and they were very good.  Good bar wings....

And the nice thing is you can walk out into the casino with your beer.

This will be a go to place next time I go to Reno.

This is one of my favorite places to visit for late night clubbing on Fridays and Saturdays.  If your not into place where it is packed with dancing jumping people, I recommend going somewhere else, but for me, I just love the energy.

The drinks are not badly priced either.  I ordered a jack and coke and it was only $6. I found that pretty cheap considering most places charge $12 for that.  When I have gone here, I usually come after 10 pm and it is always crowded with a line to get in.  There is no cover charge so I think that is one of the main reasons it stays packed.

As for the music, they switch back and forth between a DJ and a live band.  I enjoy both types of music and people seem to get really involved with the live band, singing along to the songs, but again, maybe it is because they are beyond drunk.

This place is a lot of fun if you just want to drink some drinks, dance and have a good time.  I'd recommend anyone to this place.  The only con I'd have is that it is pretty crowded so drinks are spilled all over the floor really easy, but if you drink enough, you really won't care.

Also, I have been here during day hours, and they have some amazing pizza.  I really enjoyed their buffalo chicken pizza.  It is  a little bit on the pricier end for a personal pizza, but it is hotel food, so you have to expect to pay a little more.  Overall, I am in love with this place.

Wide variety of micro brews with great traditional Brewery atmosphere. Food was fantastic and had tons of TVs for the sports fan. The only reason my rating was 4 stars instead of 5 was because my 5 year olds pizza too quite a bit longer than the rest of our party's meals. To their credit we ask that it be taken off the check and they obliged. Highly recommended.

The beers here are pretty good and cheap. The happy hour menu is such a deal. The pizzas are very average and nothing amazing. They are not like BJ's good but I would say on a similar level as dominoes. The buffalo wings were a great deal. A dozen for 4 bucks. What i liked about them was that they were moist on the inside yet dry and crispy on the outside. The Nachos were also pretty tasty. We ordered beef and its actually shredded beef. Overall I had a great experience here except for the place seemed somewhat understaffed. Our waitress lagged on everything and somehow got one of our pizzas stolen by another waiter. She also forgot one of our burger orders and took forever to bring other things we asked for and the check. Maybe she was new but I am not sure.

The food was very good. The nachos is more than enough for 2 and the fish and chips is also very good. Beer was terrific at $6 for a large. Food prices all very reasonable. Good atmosphere.

Had an early dinner here and made it on time for happy hour.

We ordered the hot wings, which was coated with a light sauce and wasn't too thick as other places do. There was enough kick, not too spicy but it builds up when you keep eating one by one, which did become addicting because I couldn't stop popping them in my mouth.

We got two pizzas for the price of one because it was happy hour. The waiter got my order wrong so it took a little longer than necessary, but it was still good none the less. The basil didn't really seem fresh because I barely tasted them and they piled a lot on there, plus I think they also confused the basil with the lettuce because I noticed there were a couple slices of lettuce on the pizza. The crust was very good, the outer edge was thick and the middle part was fairly thin. Not too much tomato sauce, which is a plus for me, I don't like too much sauce on my pizzas.

You can probably share a pizza between two people depending on how much each person eats and get an appetizer.

I like the ambiance, its pretty chill and I think it turns into more of a club type place later in the night, too bad I didn't get to stay for that.

This place is cool.  Every time I come to Reno I happen to eat here.  The last time I came I was with 7 other individuals.  We all had various coupons, and the waitress was so kind to accommodate them all and split our checks accordingly.

I've only had pizza and salad here, but each time it has been great!

My husband has said their beers are pretty good.  I'm not really a beer fan, so I have never imbibed.  I can say that I have had their root beer and it was fantastic!  I have also had a wine from their wine selection and it was also great.

I do enjoy this place!  If you are looking for a casual meal, I highly recommend.

Best part of Brew Brothers is the fact I get free beers and wings from the Eldorado. I wouldn't go here if it wasn't free. Asian Wings are the only thing I order when getting a beer.

Not my favorite place in town. This seems like a place for douchey hippies. I've been here for lunch, for dinner, and for late night shenanigans and it just seems to get weirder every time. The bartenders have no personalities and their brews are nothing extraordinary.

Oh what a fun pub.  On a recent 21st birthday trip for my sister, we discovered this fantastic little place in the El Dorado Casino. (well, technically it's in the Silver Legacy, but they're all attached so who cares.)
The beer is fantastic.  Double Stout - so frothy and melt in your mouth.  Hefe - perfect amount of lemon and faint taste of hops - an American Hefe, not Belgium.
Apparently the IPA is good to if you're into that sort of thing.
The happy hour food is typical pub food and really, who doesn't like wings with their beer?
Our servers were fantastic.  During some slow time, they talked to us about my sister's B-Day plans, and suggested some places to go.  They also recognized us and were super friendly since we went down for Happy Hour every day (it was RIGHT THERE!)
Definitely worth a stop when it's not terribly crowded and you need a break from loosing money to a machine (spend it on booze instead!)

Home of the Thursday night "student body", Brew Brothers is one of those venues, you would never recognize during the day, if you've seen it at night. Before this weekend, I've only ever seen the proverbial den of iniquity it becomes at night (I'm by no means knocking that fun either).
As a restaurant, though, I was surprised by how comfortable it was. Not only that, but as a microbrew, they aren't bad either! I came here with a group of 10, so I also got to sample a good variety of the food, all of which was not only very reasonably priced for a casino restaurant, but had some really good fusion dishes.
Brew Brothers is definitely no 5 star restaurant. It's probably not even a destination restaurant.  It is however now my goto restaurant of choice while staying in downtown core casinos in reno.
    Recommendations:
Try the Spicy Korean Tacos (sounds weird, but delicious)
The Double Down Stout pairs well with the baked pretzel.

    March 9, 2013 Saturday - dinner 7:45 PM
    3 adults

    Atmosphere - 5 stars
    Food - 3 stars
    Service - 4 stars

Background - Spending some before a night of drinking and partying downtown. Let's get some food in our stomachs and some good beer

Atmosphere - A typically microbrewery restaurant.  The only difference it is in a hotel on the second floor with large ceilings.

    Food
Appetizer - We went with Bangkok wings.  The basket had the ten smallest wings I had ever seen in my life.  I have seen Game Hens with larger wings.  I get people want a lot of sauce but it should not be complete burying the wing.

Main Course - I went with the Pittsburg Double Meat, pastrami and roast beef.  Oh yeah and they stuff that sandwich.  The only issue I had with it was that I had one slice so thick I could not bite through it, not what you want to have in your sandwich.

     Dessert - none?

Service - The line was long when we got there but they moved us through it pretty fast.  It took a while before the waitress made it to our table.

    Future - Yes.

I loved the beer here, I got a pale ale which I really liked with my food.
The service was good and I surprisingly liked the fusion dish I ordered which was the spicy Korean tacos.
The price for lunch was very reasonable and my large group of friends managed to get seated immediately (there were 9 of us).
I would definitely come back the next time I'm in Reno!

This  is my favorite bar/restaurant when I go to Reno.

They have a great bar that serves a variety of drinks, great for me because I am not big on beer. They also have a great bartender named Matt. He is great with customers and very attentive.

Food is also good for the all american style. Nacho's are good and the fish tacos (fried). The fish tacos come wiht rice and beans and come with a very generous portion size. Another good drink here is the bloody mary!

    Best beer in Reno!

I F***ing love this place! the beer is indeed quite good and they have excellent happy hour prices. I live pretty far from this place but when ever i come to Reno, I make it a point to stop by here. I think they have one of the best wheat beers I've ever had. I have had many different wheat beers too!

This is a good place to go too if you want to do some dancing, listen to live music, or perhaps just have a beer and chit chat with your friends. The food, beer and wine selection are very good, not so much with mix drinks. During Fri/Sat nights, it can be annoying; the 20's crowd consumes more alcohol than they can handle, and bouncers wait until things get physical to kick them out or at least take them to the outside area. Other than that, a fun place to be at!

Four stars for service and three stars for the food. Three of us were looking for a place to eat and saw a sign for Brew Brothers while walking through Downtown Reno. The name of the restaurant instantly caught our attention, so we ventured through the El Dorado Casino to see what this place was all about. The boys got the beer flight wheel, which they pretty much enjoyed besides 2 of the beers. Our waiter was great and our drinks and food came out very quickly. I got the fish n chips, which were okay! I've definitely had better, but it was good for what I was expecting/what they were priced (about $12! what?). The boys both got chicken tenders and fries, which were nice an crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I'd say our overall experience was decent! I'd probably go back for some beer and appetizers.

The atmosphere is pretty nice for being inside a casino (though I'm not sure what it would be like during club hours) and the service is friendly. There are lots of tables and seating. There's tv screens everywhere, that play the same thing so you're guaranteed a good view of whatever is on. There are some good items for happy hour like the bbq bacon burger and nachos, even 2 for 1 pizzas. They serve some pretty solid pub food here. It's not outstanding, but definitely worth the money. The beer is okay too. Nothing too fancy, but I like microbrews for itself. They do a beer sampler of 8. The root beer was delicious, but was more sugary than herby.

Great ace to kick back for great beers like the Wild Card Wheat Ale and great selection of food. There were so many options that me and my friend shared two different dishes. She got the Carne Asada Tasquito and I got the Pittsburg double meat. They wee both extremely good and fresh. We got our food fast and the waiters and bartenders were extremely nice. They had live music after 9pm too and free drinks for firms too. Great night at Brew brothers.

Girls get a free voucher for their first drink on weekdays between 9-11pm, which was quite nice for me, especially after filling up at the buffet beforehand.

Drinks: I got a pinot grigio of an unknown brand with the free voucher; the wine was actually pretty good - not saccharine, was crisp and fruity at the right levels for me. They do not have a drinks menu for drinks other than beer (although they do boast a full service bar) but do offer "tastings" (actually a flight of of the 8 microbrew beers they offer) for a rather great price: only $7 for 8 different 3 oz pours of beer. Unfortunately, my boyfriend, friend, and I all decided to share a flight, but ended up not finishing anything because we did not like any of the beers (and we have sampled A LOT of beer different beer before), with the exception of the wheat, which was just...average. Tasted a bit like a mix between Pyramid and Blue Moon. The IPA, stout, rootbeer, amber, seasonal special, AND pale ale were just lacking in either depth of flavor, mouthfeel, or finish. Sad.

We went on a Friday night, so I guess the extremely dim lighting (I guess the place is more like a dance bar...?) and larger crowd resulted in much slower service. After waiting at a table for 15 minutes without service of any kind, I decided to go to the bartender to request some menus or some form of human interaction, and was told to go back to the table. Finally, someone handed us our menus and told me what drinks I could get with the voucher....took a total of 40 min to order and receive our tastings.

Overall: Yay for the free drink for ladies, but -2 stars for the super slow service and not-so-great beer.

    3 Stars tops...

Reason's- not a big selections of beers on tap.2 our of their 6 are actually good. The Red Ale and the Pilsner.

    Pro's-
    1. Good atmosphere and location.
    2.  20's-30's crowd

    Cons-
    1. Stop serving food except for appetizers at 9
    2. Annoying waitress that came over every two minutes
    3. Very limited seating after 9

All in all, the place would be awesome if they sold more beer, for being a brew house, they are lacking vareity and choices. The food is so so, and moderately priced. There are better places to go to... wait, nevermind, it is Reno we are talking about...

If you go late at night the menu is severely limited.

    The pizza is okay.

The "guacamole" is NASTY. It tasted like avacado flavored hand lotion.

The "salsa" was disgusting. It tasted like it was made with beer. Gross.

The "chips" were way too thin and we got served bits and pieces.

We were seated next to a flip cup session between collage drunkards.

    Sigh.

The waitress that served had too much on her plate. Only one server for a packed section. She was from Lithuania and freaking hot. I mean, mega hot. I think I said in my mind " jesus, lord in heaven," as I tried to not look at her breasts when I was ordering my beer. She gets 6 stars.

the tall Ipa...again...not a bad deal. Better IPAs are out there for sure, but its a good beer value.

Avoid the salsa and guac like you would the black plague.

A cover band with detuned guitars plays to drunkards late at night. At a certain point, ones liver becomes drenched in alcohol, so one may forget the utter cheesiness of a hotel california cover.

The more you drink, the better the band sounds.

Nice alternative to the standard casino food (aka the buffet).

I almost gagged at the grilled cheese burger on the menu (burger sandwiched between 2 grilled cheese sandwiches), but my boyfriend ordered it and raved about it.  (Though he couldn't finish half of it.)  I ordered the hawaiian pizza and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Nice atmosphere and they were fairly accommodating for a large group (25-30).

NOT A REVIEW FOR THE CLUB
Came to Brew Brothers because the boyfriend and I wanted to sit down, stuff our faces and watch the Pacquiao fight. That was the plan, SO WE THOUGHT.

Our friend had asked a bartender about where the fight will be shown, the bartender replied every bar/ any restaurant that has a TV will be showing the fight. Boy, was that person wrong. =X I'll get back to that later.

    OH MY, I'M..I'M IMPRESSED
We were seated after 10-15 minutes of waiting, not too bad for a Saturday evening. When we walked in I was impressed by the HUGE bar, and the brewery, which you can see right behind the bar/ through the window. Very nice! TVs are hanging EVERYWHERE, no matter where you turn your head, you'll always have a TV in front of you.

    FOOD
We ordered pizza and onion rings, both were very average tasting. I didn't see anything else on the menu that caught my eye. =T

    SERVICE
Service was a bit slow, I noticed the waitress rarely came by to check on us (TOOK A LONG TIME TO GET OUR BILL/  TAKE OUR BILL) and it took awhile for the food to come out. Both are things that annoy the crap out of me, the slow service more than the long wait for the food.

    YOU GUYS AREN'T WHAT??
After the final game of the Celtics vs Heat game was over, the boyfriend and I was wondering when they were going to turn on the Pacquiao fight (the main fight didn't start but there were other fights going on). So we flag down a waitress because our's was nowhere in sight to ask, and GUESS WHAT. THEY AREN'T SHOWING THE FIGHT!! WTF, REALLY?? You're playing all these other sports on your very MANY TVs, and you're NOT going to show a Pacquiao fight? So, the boyfriend and I quickly get off our chairs to make our way down to the casino to see if they're showing the fight (and thankfully the casino had the fight playing on every TV).

    CONCLUSION
The food wasn't bad, the service was slow and they weren't showing the fight (which really erked me). BUT their bar area, the where ever you turn your head there'll be a TV in front of you and the brewery hanging out in the back, impressed me. So 3 stars, though I was very close to giving Brew Brothers a 2. =X

Whenever I am attending a training at Circus Circus, I have lunch here. It is not my most favorite pub-food place in Reno, but when I am here and time is a factor, it is my regular place.

I usually get the soup and sandwich special. The soups are absolutely delicious and taste house-made.

The burgers are not bad and actually taste like they contain real meat.

The salads are hearty and generous and ingredients are fresh.

The staff really make an effort to get us in and out quickly when we let them know we are on a limited lunch time. They have never once quibbled about separate checks for 12+ people.

It is a fun, relaxed atmosphere for having lunch with colleagues.

We were walking around the Eldorado Hotel and Casino and came across a bar and grill that was airing a SF Giants game and we instantly stopped. Hey, we're hungry..kinda..sorta. Oooh, and it's a brewery and it's happy hour. And just like that we made our way in.

It was rather early on a Thursday afternoon, so we were able to take advantage of their happy hour pricing, which runs Monday-Friday from 2-5 p.m. I wasn't terribly hungry, but my +1 wanted to get an appetizer. We asked to be seated at the bar as there were quite a few spaces. With the game going and the Giants winning, I ordered the bartender's suggestion and enjoyed a nice, cold tall glass.

I ended up ordering an appetizer as they were half off and got the Killer Nachos, while my friend ordered her typical Buffalo Chicken Wings. The food order took a good 12-15 minutes to come out and my friend enjoyed her chicken wings and couldn't manage to finish them all. My nachos were packed with a bit of everything: chicken, refried beans, cheese, pico de gallo, jalapenos, shredded lettuce, and sour cream. The cold beer was the perfect combo with the filling nachos.

Given that we both ordered finger foods, we both felt rather full quickly and couldn't finish, as you can only have so much. The apps were decent but nothing overly spectacular, but the prices were a bargain. In total, we got 2 tall glass beers and 2 apps for less than $20. I would like to come back in the future and try their pizza, as multiple people have told me its especially good.

Ambiance: 3 Stars (out of 5)
Food: 3 Stars (out of 5)
Service: 4 Stars (out of 5)
    Price: $$
Overall: 3 Stars (out of 5)

    The price can be right.
A regular place to eat when looking for a deal; this day they had several deals to choose from, I took advantage to the BBQ Wings (a basket of 12), and Nacho w/ beef QUESABB. Total out the door 10.71 an I was packed. The Nachos have jalapeno peppers on them but they were grilled and not real hot. It also had sour cream, chopped tomatoes, and melts cheese on throughout.  The deals take place at special times so pay attention. They are out of their special Root Beer, to bad, it was good.

Came here a couple times while visiting back home.

The atmosphere is a hit or miss, it also depends on your level of sobriety.
The very last time I came, a live band was playing some country/rockish songs. The crowd wasn't too rowdy and the drinks didn't hit as hard. The very first time I came though the crowd was a lot more mixed up, the drinks were crackin and the music was great.

Two times, I had Elijah serve me and my company our drinks. He's awesome. Just went along with the flow and paid attention to any female's request. I must say he had to put up with some uglies while I was there...just saying... :P He made this drink called the love potion, which IMO, tasted like Robitusi. Yes, the medicine kind that you drink when you have too much plehm!

THEY DON'T HAVE SEATING INSIDE! So if you'd like to sit, you'll have to go into the "porch" where they have wooden tables, and chairs to sit on and dine on.

One thing that was always constant while I was here or passing by, was that there always SEEM to have a ton of people inside, but really it's just people not wanting to pay for their drinks inside that would rather hang out in front of machines and stalk females who choose to actually go inside this place. Random people just concentrate in the front and gawk!

If you want a place where you'll be served in a quick manner do come here and look for Elijah!

Your typical brewery/pub this is not! I went off of some reviews and pics, thinking this would be a fun place to listen to music and maybe dance with my husband last night.

This is located very close to the Roxy and I was silently praying that the throngs of semi drunk/full blown drunken coeds and the packs of cruising males would head in to Roxy but that was not the case. At the top of the short escalator is the Brewery....with loud DJ music and a LINE to get in.

How in the world did I miss that this was a club?

When out with my girlfriends I would have never waited in line, so while navigating the masses of 20 somethings (I am in the realm but felt old) I was certainly not going to stand in line with the hubby to get in to a PACKED place.

Possibly remarket what you are past 10 pm? Brewery early on, club after?

While in town for a trade show met up with some friends to go to Brew Brother on Saturday night.  Located in Silver Legacy with a line out the door! Who knew Reno had it in them!

Ladies in free.. and with a free drink ticket! Guys 5 bucks.

They had fun trendy music there and then a live band playing popular cover songs. LOVED IT!

People were dancing and having a good time.

CougerVILLE.  Lots of older chicks on the prowl.

Since I went here in the evening would be fun to go try out some beers here.
