Brickhouse Grill & Pub

When it comes to pub grub, it doesn't get much better than Brickhouse. What makes this place special is that it not only has extremely delicious food but also its cuisine is unlike food you'd find in other pubs. They have regular pub fare but also variations of those and some unique dishes, not to mention a good selection of beer and other alcohol. The appetizers such as the spinach artichoke rangoons, the breaded portabella mushrooms, onion tanglers, homemade potato chips (possibly the best I've eaten at any bar), nachos and sliders are wonderful. The burgers are truly out-of-this-world - the Kobe, the inside-out, the bacon blue cheese, my favorite the spicy Burger Del Fuego, etc. I also love their sandwiches (my personal favorites are the Stuffed Meatloaf and the Buffalo Bacon Blue Chicken) and pizzas. They are also constantly updating their menu to keep it fresh and interesting. It's a great place to go for drinks after work or just to meet friends or a date for lunch/dinner. This is easily one of my favorite places in Springfield.

As a Springfield native, I was quite impressed with the horseshoe.  The white cheese sauce was creamy yet not overpowering.  

What sets this place apart from other west-side eateries is the service.  Our waitress was prompt, attentive, and pleasant.  Not a bad place for a meal!

Glad to have this place in the neighborhood.  They make a great Kobe burger and their stuffed meatloaf is sufficiently unique to make it something you would go back just to have again.  Heading there for dinner again right now...
