Smoking joint. It's as smokey as Hard Times Cafe of Woodbridge. They could use ventilation in the place. If you can fight the second hand smoking, you can come on in. Their menu choices are limited. So I just pick a few keywords that they recognized like Taco Salad and Bacon Cheeseburger.

We stumbled on this place because their website "claims" that they server authentic Pittsburgh steak salads. I grew up north of Pittsburgh and had yet to find a place to get a good steak salad. I should have read the reviews here prior to going...

So we get there around 1:00 pm on a Friday afternoon to eat lunch. We sat down at a table close to the bar. It took 10 minutes for the bartender to even notice us for one. Once she did, she came over and took our drink order. It wasn't that hard, water and a coke. That took 10 minutes to get to us. We ask the waitress if the steak salad is truly a Pittsburgh steak salad and she assures us it is.

45 minutes after ordering a steak salad and an order of cheese fries we get our food. She sets the steak salad down in front of me. WTH? A true Pittsburgh steak salad has french fries, cheese and a cut up boiled egg on it. This salad had 4 1/2 french fries on it. Yes. 4 1/2. Really? No egg and barely any cheese. Talk about disappointment. On top of that, the fries they use are the cheapest of the cheap. The only reason I gave 1 star is because I can't leave 0 stars. No flavor in the salad. The cheese fries tasted like the frying oil because they were so cheap.

I'm glad this was cheap because if I would have paid "normal" NOVA prices, I would have been upset.

If your looking to drink and smoke, go here. Don't go here for their acclaimed authentic Pittsburgh steak salad because you will be disappointed. I don't recommend this place and will never be going back.

Great place to come, watch sports, listen to live bands or just hang out. Mozzarella sticks are amazing and try the "robs special".
