Sooooo, why the low grade? Well, i'm not some old hoot, and the older gentlmen who I would think was the owner didn't really pay that much attention at me and my friend, i'm guessing for that reason. I came here to try some good wine and was waited on by this older gentlemen. After waiting around for a while, and taking in the sights of the bar that was very poorly maintained, he poured us some wine since we had asked for the "wine tasting" experience. Didn't tell us what the wine was, didn't really know what wine he wanted to pour, and after a conversation about what temperature to pour reds (he recommends 40*-50*) poured us some room temperature wine. Which in turn made the wine taste disgusting. Then he kind of blew us off after his wait staff started showing up. They of course didn't know anything about the wines, didn't know which order to pour them, and didn't know who was in charge of what location. I had 10 different people ask me how things were going, nice to be serviced, but c'mon! Who's my server?
I do remember one waitress who kinda knew what was up, but she got pulled to the side and lightly scolded for pouring a tiny, minuscule , "drop" of too much of the "expensive" bottle. C'mon now, is it really going to make that much of a difference?
I guess they didn't notice the hammered older lady next to me who couldn't complete sentences, pouring herself huge glasses of the "expensive" bottle. This place needs to get itself together
Food was good, but not enough reason to go back there. The waiter who brought my food didn't know that a dip sandwich came with Au Jus sauce. Even though it says it on the menu. The older gentlemen said "its poured on the sandwich" . . . . . So why call it a dip??
