The pizza here is AWESOME. Â We ordered a mushroom and extra cheese pizza (probably shouldn't have added the extra cheese because it was LOADED). Â It's high quality cheese that actually has flavor, unlike a lot of pizza places.
The "spicy" chili was good, too, even though it wasn't spicy. Â I could have used some hot sauce.
The downsides: the service is terrible. Â The server was really nice but a terrible server. Â We had to wait 5-10 minutes upon arrival to even see her. Â We almost left. Â Then, we actually had to stand up like we were planning to leave before we got our check.
The drinks from the bar were awful. Â The bartender didn't know what a sidecar was and makes a watery dirty martini. Â My husband's Manhattan was mostly grenadine.
Thus: Go for pizza and beer. Â Things in bottles can't be ruined as easily as mixed drinks.
I love this place and always have!! My family has been coming here since I was a small child. I actually worked here as a busboy while I was in HIGH School and have always enjoyed coming here to eat. Nick, the owner, is a pretty good guy that has run this place for all these years. I love the pizza, chicken, cheese cubes, hot ham and chesse on garlic bread, etc etc etc. I have many fond memories of our family going here for many lunches and dinners and I want to thank Bronko's for all the wonderful memories and great food!!
