Buddha Lounge

This is my new favorite bar in San Francisco. About 10 seats at the bar, ample standing room, a couple of dudes playing dice at the bar, chill bartender, refreshingly unpretentious SF crowd. When can I go back? Maybe tonight.

I knew it was going to be good when I walked in to this empty bar around noon and the bartender was resting her head against the bar taking a nap.

This place is pretty nice though and after she woke up she was a very pleasant host.

When I return to SF I'll definitely be back here.

The doorway is pretty awesome, you can't miss it. It's a dive-bar with not very many seats. We walked in and asked Mark to make whatever he wanted, and he slapped down a drink that was mostly vodka with a bit of orange juice. Cheap, strong, delicious drinks, but I wish there'd been a bit more people (though to be fair it was a Wednesday night).
