So want this place to just be halfway decent, but it lets me down time and time again. Great TV's and set up, great menu, staff is generally friendly and efficient. And if you like your sports bar experience topped off with kids running around and crying infants...well look no further.
Seriously; babies in bars?!
I don't get it and it definitely ruins the whole experience.
Too bad. If they just had a 21-plus policy (or even 16-plus accompanied by adult) this place would be great.
I'll be back in six months to see if anything changes.
I do not expect that to be the case.
Ok... When it comes to BWW, I'm in it for the sauce!
Don't get me wrong, the food is good! Wings are hot and crispy, and the grilled chicken cutlets you can substitute for wings are great as well.. but the food alone doesn't stand out.
What makes this place pop is the 20+ choices of sauce. My Favorite is Zinger (Very hot) and Parmesan Garlic which is s0o0 yummy and creamy ;-).. I usually get both on the side and use the parmesan garlic to cool my mouth down.
They sell all their sauces at the store so I would say go do some shopping and sample which ones you like, then buy it and eat at home. The place is usually very busy with LOTS of kids so the service is a little slow
I like all of the TV screens for sports watching and some of the food offerings, but for the most part the food is just simply ok (including the wings).
In fact, when I do go I usually do not get the wings unless it is one of the wing nights. A bit on the pricy side for (what I consider) low quality chicken. It's not so much the sauces that I do not like (those are fine and the selection is good).
Anyways, I do go back from time to time and it's nice that it is close to home, but it's not my 'go-to' place. It is for some people, and that's fine. Just not for me.
Luckily, though, the staff has always been kind. Sometimes spacey, but we're not usually in much of a rush. That could probably be better addressed, but the wait staff we usually get are nice folks.
I stopped in with a large group last night for wing night...
Our first mistake was not having the whole party when we all arrived, so we got meals in two sequences, which was entirely our fault. We should have ordered all at once.
Our server was awesome though, very attentive and considerate.
My wings were great, had 4 salt and vinegar, 4 mild, and 4 parmesan/garlic. They were all awesome!
I had the buffalo chips with cheese, and they were okay but I would have had more melted cheese on them.
A very good experience all in all.
This is a pretty typical wings and bar food place. It's a spacious building with plenty of room in both the bar and dining room area. This place is absolutely littered with tvs so you are sure to have a good view of a screen no matter where you sit.
The fried mushrooms were tasty and the rest of the items I tried on the menu were pretty average - nothing too special. I did like their wings. The parmesan and spicy asian flavors are quite rich and I couldn't eat more than a couple, but still delicious. The regular medium wings got my attention for the best flavor of sauce. They have a great selection of beer to pick from and all the usual mixed drinks.
Our server was really friendly and attentive. Most of our table mentioned that he seemed to slowly become intoxicated towards the end of our visit. That might be true, but hey, I didn't care. He never let his quality of service slip with us.
This BWW gives you the typical BWW delicious wings experience with all the nice staff, clean interior, and upbeat / uncrowded expectations of a new facility.
We used to go here every Tuesday night until we moved to a different part of town, but they're a great bunch to be around!
The wings are as awesome as ever, and there's a TV at every single table.
Your standard suburban wing joint. Â They have a good beer selection (Got to love Stone IPA on tap) and the food is as good/bad as you would expect (what I am assuming is cooked from frozen). Â The Mrs. likes it because they offer boneless wings and she has a thing about bone-in chicken. Â That and she's a sucker for corn dog nuggets (you kids keep your innuendo to yourself). Â If you're in the area and have no problem with a chain sports bar atmosphere you could do worse.
Review Source:I have to say it is a fun atmosphere and one of the handful of places in this area BUT I am extremely dissapointed in the owners attitude towards a controversial subject. Â He has covered up the American Flag behind the bar with a World Cup soccer flag and to this day refusses to remove it. Â The manager told me last week 8/9 that he has received several complaints and doesn't agree with it himself but the owner will not do anything about it. Â Judge for yourself. Â The food is pretty unhealth too, but all of these restaurants do.
