I have never had an issue here for the most part. Â Here some highlights & low lights of this place:
*Decent Happy Hour
*Close to the office
*Awesome Juke Box
*Better than average bar food (includes burgers, mexcian and vietnamese...)
*Poker Tournaments
*Several Pool Tables
*Enclosed Patio/Smoking area but the windows open
*Tons of regulars
*2 Bars
*Well laid out
*Super small bathrooms that aren't always that clean depending on what time of day/night you are there
*Parking lot is a train wreck
*Service is hit or miss
It's a great place to grab a couple of beers with friends randomly especially during HH. Â They also appear to have some great deals on beer during football season.
Cheers!
I've been here a handful of times over a year now - pretty evenly spaced. Â So I think I've gotten a decent feel for the place. Â I keep going back because it's conveniently located...but then only maybe once every couple of months. Â It's because of the food. Â Sometimes I'm craving bar food and they do it pretty well. Â The wings are almost awesome. Â The oriental food is pretty killer too.
But the 3 stars is for the staff. Â They get one - food gets 5...I'm meeting in between. Â I've never seen the same crew behind the bar. Â And while the bartenders are usually at least somewhat easy on the eyes, they're just unreasonably clueless on a remarkably consistent basis. Â Frustratingly so, really. Â
The bathroom is extra super cozy, which is sorta buddy. Â I never look forward to that. Â Never caught anything special in the drink prices. Â One guy in a white plumber's van keeps running into cars...twice in my visits and I hardly ever darken the door. Â Â
I never bonded with the regulars much either. Â It always feels like I'm among those drowning sorrows instead of toasting good times or sharing ideas. Â There are usually a couple of drunk & happy local tables bouncing around, but still, I'm usually ready to go after one beer. Â
I guess for a bottom line - it'll do in a pinch. Â But nothing to write yelp about.
