The atmosphere here is awesome and the drinks are amazing. You have to be willing to spend a bit of money on the drinks, but they are delicious. Â We have had appetizers here a few times and those were great as well. Â Love the fact this is a speak-easy, and love how many local liquors they have!
Review Source:Had so much fun here last night. I honestly think it's one of my top bar-going experiences in Denver.
Initially the wait to get in seems kind of ridiculous (it's a bar!!), but it's a dark, cozy space, and it's nice that it's not swarming with people. I like how intimate/inviting it is.
We sat up at the bar. The bartender was great, really sweet and friendly. I had a gin cocktail and my friend had a new old-fashioned. The cocktails are delicious and strong. A+
Even if the drinks had been middling, I would still come back because the experience overall was so great.
I finally hit this place! While it's in my neighborhood I hadn't stopped in officially because long wait times had deterred me. Instead I had sampled Green Russel for the speakeasy feel and was underwhelmed. But this time I succeeded in entering Williams & Graham with very little wait time (no reservation). Love, love, love the bookshelf hidden door and the genuine attempt at a speakeasy atmosphere.
The drinks were divine and I loved the extensive spirit book. My only disappointment was the cheese platter. I think we chose cheeses too refined for our tastes (tasted like dirty socks), but I will take the higher road and blame our palettes and not the cheese itself. Service was impeccable and the dim lighting and dark booths generate a smoky vibe that is perfect for intimate conversations. Definitely make a reservation and enjoy!
