I love this neighbood steak bar. Â It is not stuffy like most steak places and is affordable. Â I love a good steak but can't swing Elways, Capitol Grill etc..so this is a good option. Â We went on a Friday night and the place was packed - I would also sit at the bar and eat dinner if I couldn't get a table.
The only downside was the waitress, she was not very friendly, bordering on rude...just smile occasionally honey.
Went for Saturday brunch. We had pastrami hash & eggs, and Broiled mushrooms with spinach and cheddar grits. Coffee was served as a coffee press, perfect if you love your coffee like your man....strong. Causal atmosphere, old Denver architecture, good prices. This was my second visit there and we do plan on going back. Â If you like a place off the beaten path, a restaurant that is not a chain, better than good food and reasonable prices, this is the place to go. It is cozy and many customers, but at brunch time not overflowing. Don't know how the happy hour evening crowds are. Put it on your to do list and let us know!
