Providence Tavern

Providence Tavern is an amazing establishment! Have you ever seen the show Cheers? If you have, you will understand the family orientated and friendly atmosphere, as well as the comical persona. Yes that is Providence! Sam, the owner, is the kindest, most professional and community oriented person I have ever met. He not only takes care of his customers, but his employees too! That says enough in itself about the integrity that Providence holds.  The waitstaff...oh the waitstaff especially Michelle is outstanding! Every event that we have had or that my personal family has had there at Providence, Michelle.... well everyone loves Michelle let's just say that! Of course I wouldn't forget to mention the cook! Wow! Amazing, fresh, organic food that you know has been well attended too. The food is outstanding and affordable! Well if this review hasn't screamed how much we love Sam and everyone at Providence than I don't know what will! Please go visit Providence! You'll love them just as much as we do! This place is a solid neighborhood pub. It has a nice looking bar with exposed brick walls. The place isn't very big, but they have good, friendly waitstaff, and limited, but good, choices on tap (e.g., Magic Hat #9). I tried a few of their happy hour apps. First they are cheap. The descriptions are appealing, like roasted, stuffed, bacon wrapped jalapenos. They were OK, but there was no "Wow!' factor. They have TVs all around and you can watch a game from most any seat. It's a good stop if you find yourself near Sloan's Lake.
