My friends and i stopped going to this location because of the bad service. i decided to give them one more chance because it is the closest to my home. I called a day early to order wings for the superbowl. An hour and fifteen minutes after the pick up time I requested, I still did not have my wings. All the other food at my party was cold by the time I got back. I will not be returning to  this location.
Review Source:Let me preface this by saying, I'm a server, so I understand that it's stressful to serve a large section when it's busy.
However, when my family and I went in for dinner, service was pretty terrible. Two different servers came by, and neither one seemed to know who was supposed to be serving our table. It took around 10 minutes for one of them to officially take the table, and then quite a bit longer to get drink orders in.
We ordered a burger, an order of boneless wings, and a flatbread pizza. It took 45 minutes for the food to get to the table, during which time I saw our server amble through our section more than once. The section was full, and our server was in no hurry whatsoever to get our food out-at one point she was simply standing and chatting at the computers instead of checking on her section or our meal. The manager also seemed pretty disinterested-he spent most of his time lounging by the host stand talking to the waitresses.
When our food finally arrived, my wings had clearly been sitting in the window for a while. The sauce had dried while waiting for other food, likely the pizza, since it appeared to be freshly made.
I understand if something happened in the kitchen-I get that. But when that happens, you should be in the kitchen getting that food. Instead, the food we got was late and mine was "dead." It would have been nice to have had a manager act even slightly concerned about a 45 minute ticket.
So yeah. 1 star for me. You've got a great location, and every opportunity to do well, but this isn't the first bad experience we've had here, and this last one was honestly enough to not come back.
Been awhile since I been to this location, had bad experience last time but friends talked me into going again. They quicly regretted the decision. I no longer have to worry about them taking me to this location again.
Service was horrible. To their defense, the place was extremely crowded, so it was slow service. But our server kept forgetting our drink orders. Had to ask twice most of the time so no excuse for that.
Food, well, if you are into under cooked wings, this is your place! Â It was so busy, you can tell that they were just pushing them out, or over loading the fryers, cause our wings were anything but crispy. Very soft, and hate to say it, not done near the bone. Â When it calmed down, a friend ordered wings again because he did not eat his earlier, and they were spot on.
So basically, this crew does not know how to handle a crowd, and that's a shame. I love wings, and watching sports, but our business will go elsewhere. Â We had a pretty nice crowd with us as well, and it's a shame that all these people had to go through what I went through last time. Â
Good luck BWW Ballwin. Hope you continue to be in business, but you will not get me sick nor see our money again.
Maybe I need to try something different. Maybe wings aren't my thing. I've been here a couple times -- once with a group of eight, once with just two of us.
Service has been OK, but I'd think the server could remember who ordered what. When it was just two of us, she did remember. Otherwise, not.
Good on soda refills, which is helpful with spicy wings.
I've gotten an uninspired side salad and parmesan garlic wings. Both times.
And I remain uninspired.
Yeah, I'm reviewing some sports bar chain. Â You could have probably figured out the review without even reading.
Service was ok, nothing great. Â She didn't go above and beyond and didn't even know the dressings available off the top of her head, but she didn't ignore us or treat us poorly either.
I ordered the chili con queso for the table which was actually pretty damn tasty. Â More chili than queso like you'd get anywhere else offering the dish. Â For entree, I ordered the blackened chicken salad. Â Nothing exciting, even for a salad.
Ok, my review is not specifically for the Ballwin location, so don't take it personally. We went to the one in South County...it was our first visit to B-Dub's, after thinking we should get around to it at some point. And?
Not so much. The service was lackadaisical at best, though I realize I can't extrapolate that to the entire chain. But the wings were just so-so, and we tried 4 flavors. The fries were just ok. We had a couple other things, but try as I might, I can't recall what. Not a good sign, right?
I'll stick with Wing Stop...the ambience (and number of TVs) is not as good, but the wings and fries are WAY better.
I don't like to review franchise places because the idea is that they are all alike. Â However I love football and I love wings! From the mini corn dogs to the Blazin Hot Wings this place does bar food right. Â I'm not looking for a gourmet meal here the beer smooths out the edges of the shortcomings of the food. Â They have a great selection of local and national draught beers. Â They do get a star deducted because the service is always bad, Â It's always an auction for your food
Random Waitress: "Did you order the spicy garlic wings?"
Me: Â YES.
I shouldn't have to remind you what I ordered. That being said they have all the games on gameday, it's clean and they have wifi.
