The wings here a hefty and meaty. I love the huge selection of flavors and the wings are very tasty.
The service is slow at times and the fun games are always a nice touch. The issue here is spotty service and slow cook times. I would go back and see if this has improved. So for now 3 stars until I see some improvements.
I don't often frequent chain restaurants. Â But, I had some friends from Germany visiting and I thought this restaurant doesn't get any more American, so I brought the Germans.
Before we went to Buffalo Wild Wings I checked Yelp. Â There was one review and it had one star. Â I have to say that our experience mimicked the other person's experience. Â We got there around 1PM, so the lunch rush was over. Â It took a really long time for us to get our beer and even longer, maybe 35 to 40 minutes to get our food. Â The food was cold and no one ever checked on us to see how the food was. Â In fact, I saw the waitress look round the corner and when I tried to waive her down the turned around as if she hadn't seen me.
The waitress told us she was new, and we could tell she was struggling. Â I tried so hard to be nice to her. Â What bothered me most is that there were SO many servers and no one helped her. Â There was no team atmosphere in this place. Â Very few patrons, many many staff memebers, patrons hungry, staff memebers standing around doing nothing. Â
I spoke to the manger as we were leaving. Â He was sitting at the bar, not drinking, but not working either. Â I told him that our experience was really disappointing. Â I told him I wasn't expecting him to take anything off of our check, but that he needed to seriously look at the service. Â He didn't offer to fix anything, nor did he ask which table I was sitting at or who our server was. Â
This place sucked. Â Don't go. Â The other locations might be better, but this Buffalo Wild Wings has a lot of work to do if they plan on having any returning customers.
Having visited many BWW's in several states and living 20 miles away from the Brunswick restaurant, I had been a frequent patron there for lunch and dinner with family or by myself, as well as going to watch sporting events. The wait staff and bartenders are always friendly and usually quick with service.
Last night I had arrived at 7PM, and was watching the Bruins/Leafs game at the bar. Going into the 3rd period, the manager (who stood by and watched the 2 bartenders struggle to keep up with drink orders rather than help) chose to change all the channels to the boxing match, and refused to keep the Bruins game on in spite of me and others watching it. I will never set foot in there again. The bartenders could only apologize and shake their heads.
