You come here for the experience of joining loud, sports types and their families in acting out. I mean, you don't go to a rodeo expecting to spend the day reading in the quiet shade!. It's fun if you get into it...yell at sports teams, stuff like that.
It's loud (!!)  TVs everywhere, including the urinal stations... It's a mix of young families,  a bunch of foursomes crawling down rt. 7 before they get home, college kids, tourists and locals.
The food is beer and wings with celery & ranch,  and fries. There's nothing nutritious to discuss as far as I can see. The wings are pretty bad in my opinion, but it might be just me. I would never get more than 6.  They seem to be better the next day after bring some home in a container.

I usually like Buffalo Wild Wings, but this location doesn't seem to have it together.
The first time I came here there was an empty ketchup bottle on the table. When I got another one off another table I found that bottle to be almost empty. Another time that I visited the waitress forgot to bring us French fries. The last time I was there the hostess sat my party but didn't bother to tell any of the waitresses. 20 minutes later we were still waiting for someone to greet us and ask us what we would like to drink.

It seems like I am always there at off peak times when the restaurant is practically empty. I can't imagine how bad the service is during busy times. At least the food is usually tasty (if they bring it to you while its warm!) and tastes the way it does at other locations.

First off, the food is what it is.

It's fast food, mostly involving various parts of a chicken meeting their demise in a deep fryer. However, it's just not fast enough to justify going to any of their locations over another sports bar.

    Now, about this particular location.

We were a party of nine which they could not accomodate at one table - no problem with that. We split up five and four at opposite ends of the restaurant. Again, perfectly understandable.

The downside for the restaurant is that we can say that service is uniformly awful and that it wasn't just one bad server.

One of our tables left the restaurant laughing about how hard it was to get their server to bring them anything or understand that she had brought the wrong order to them. I wasn't there, so I'll leave it there.

Our table couldn't get silverware. Or napkins. Or in my brother's situation, his dinner. The waitress brought out four meals, put them down and left. When she came back about ten minutes later to ask how things were, we asked about the missing dinner.

"Oh", says she, "I will ask".

Five minutes later, she walks past the table and takes an order at another - on way back through, we stop her and ask again. The lightbulb goes off and she sets off to inquire.

Ten minutes later when she's bringing appetizers to the table behind us, we ask again.

At that point, she said, "The printer in the kitchen stopped working, so they didn't make your dinner....what did you order?" "Didn't you write it down" "Yes....but what was it?"

Everyone else was done at that point, so we admitted defeat and just asked her for the check. Another ten minutes later, she brings it over and tells us that she deducted the missing dinner from our bill. Laughter all around.

Bottom line - bad food served poorly.

What's a sports bar?  It's a place basically centered around a bar with bar food and a stunning array of sports being displayed on multiple monitors throughout the establishment.  I can pretty much say Buffalo Wild Wings IS a sports bar.  How good?  The draft selection is very good and the bar staff is typically on point.  I've been here enough to see the occasional shift slightly asleep on the job but generally they are very attentive and friendly.  The food is not bad.  I do recommend the wide array of wing choices.  The food comes out hot and right on point with the description.  Other than the wings I've only have tried the avacado dip which is OK.  The nachos are a bit drippy but tolerable.  The bar is the place to be otherwise it's a fairly dark and noisy restaurant experience.  If you want a good place to hang out and watch some sports, this is likely one of the better places to be for it.  You know why?  Because it's a "sports bar"!

My boyfriend and I were visiting Burlington, VT for the weekend, and he had late conference calls, so we didn't set out for dinner until late on Saturday night (1/19). After surveying our local options, we saw online that Buffalo Wild Wings was open until midnight. Sweet, I love wings! We called to make sure that their kitchen was still serving food and were told that their kitchen would accept orders until 11:50. We arrived at 11:10 PM.

No one was at the hostess stand, and we had to flag someone down to come seat us. It was not busy, and there were still 5+ waitstaff working. Our waiter's name was Rob, and he was very friendly and made pleasant conversation and answered our questions from the menu right away.

After Rob brought our drinks, things started severely going downhill. It was clear the staff was prioritizing cleaning up over taking our order. I could see our server standing near the kitchen for a long period of time. He was probably waiting for another order to come up, but he was there for almost 10 minutes, and could have easily written down our order during the down time (or, if he needed to be standing there for whatever reason, he could have sent someone else who was cleaning up over to wait on us). People were literally stacking chairs up on table tops while we sat there without food! Another server was eventually sent over, but only after we had been waiting 30 minutes, and my boyfriend put his hand in the air for a few minutes, trying to catch someone's attention.

Aside from the service, the food was also served poorly. I ordered traditional wings, and my boyfriend ordered the pulled pork sandwich. When the food arrived, the fries were cold and dry/overcooked, and both the sandwich and the wings had been hastily prepared, with not enough sauce to even cover the meat. We asked for additional barbecue sauce for the pork, and the server brought us the wrong variety.

I wanted to love Buffalo Wild Wings, but I felt the service was incredibly poor; if you are supposed to be open until midnight and you are still seating guests, serving them their food promptly and made correctly should take priority over stacking chairs or cleaning up. In addition, if you are purportedly still serving food, you should serve it cooked well. Will not return.

I'll say it at the start - I don't like chain restaurants and I loathe corporate "bars" with all their picked-from-a-company-catalogue  "ambiance."

However, I have to make an exception for this place,  for any number of reasons, here's a few:

1 - I drop in here after practice a few nights a week because they're open and I can catch the last few minutes of whatever game is on and have a beer. It's kinda loud here at times, but not unbearable.

2 - I have never been to another BWW, so I've no benchmark to compare. Having said that, this place has an extensive tap selection. While I do prefer Scotch, it seems out of place here, so I'm glad they have the good tap choices.

3 - The staff is really friendly, they learn your name and drink really quickly, and always say hello when they see you. That's nice. Corporate rules? Maybe, but still nice.

4 - The men's room. No foolin'. Always clean and they've got two of those Dyson-type hand dryers. TWO! One for each hand! That's great stuff! I timed it and I was able to completely dry my hands in 6 seconds. Holy moley, that was fast!

Oh, plus, I had the wings here and they're pretty good. And I did watch a guy do the eat the hottest wings challenge and that was really funny.  I thought his face was gonna melt and I think he cried a bit.

If you are coming here for the food, I kinda feel bad for your palate.  Burlington has many restaurants (considering its size) and there are far better choices for pretty much anything on the menu here.  Even the chicken wings are really just so-so.

If you are coming here to watch the game, good on you!  This is a sports bar after all.

If you are coming here for a few drinks with friends, I think it's fine.

I was traveling in Vermont and Quebec and wanted to watch the Michigan State Spartans football game.  Where else in Vermont could I possibly expect to see it?  Likely nowhere.  New England ain't exactly college football country (w/ exception of Boston College there is no college football to speak of here).  So when I walked up to the bar and asked them if I could get my MSU game on, they were more than happy to oblige.

The bar seemed to have more than a few fans of Ohio State, Oklahoma, Notre Dame and a couple of other schools.  I even noticed a couple of Spartys by the second half.

It's nice to know you can walk into one of these Buffalo Wild Wings and know that your game will be on.

Being in Vermont, it was nice to have a few Long Trail Ales to wash out the taste of defeat.  We'll get 'em next time boys.  Go Green!

We went there for Thursday Night Football while staying overnight in the area on our way through. The wings were 'ok', nothing special, a bit on the pricey side for wings. The individual pizzas were pretty tasty. Beer was varied and plentiful, service was fine, our waitress was very friendly, we sat right down and were well taken care of. There are lots of TV's spread out everywhere so there was no issue watching the football game, and there were several other sporting events taking place at the same time on other tv's. This is an average sports bar with average pub grub, nothing fancy, and yet nothing to bring you back unless you want to watch a lot of tv's at the same time! I'd rate it 2.5 stars if I could; your basic sports bar.

I was surprised as how good the place is since it's a chain and the emphasis in this area is local sourcing. But, the boneless wings with Asian sauce (I think that's what it was called) were great and the flame cooked burgers were very tasty.

    I love the fried pickles.

The rest of the food is just meh. Nothing special. Salty chain food. For the price, I'd gladly go somewhere else.

We were camping in Alburgh for a few days and visiting Burlington on a very hot wednesday afternoon. But then we got hungry. My friend knew this place was a sure bet so we looked for it for almost 30 minutes, having no idea what the name was. ( She was there a year or so ago and only remembered it had WINGS in it)

Inside, a lovely breeze and the usual cozy atmosphere of sports bar. We sat by the window and enjoyed blue lemonade drinks that were not too sugary nor tingy, recommendation of the waitress. We watched the Olympics during the wait for our meal, which wasn't too long. Being really hungry and eager to try the southern tex-mex menu, we each had a side of Mac&cheese first. Creamy as hell, the best greasy thing i've had in ages. Then we each ordered a burger. Mine was grilled chicken with ranch dressing and medium spicy sauce. It was perfect.

We lurked at the dessert menu just for fun but we were to full for even trying one.

    Overall very nice.

Great TV sets and screens - best in Vermont as far as I know. Decent beer selection too, as they mix in some local microbrews.

But the food is pretty much disgusting and very unhealthy. Plus there's a general lack of atmosphere in the restaurant for a place that big. Robotic like customer service you would expect from a chain. It's hard to find the motivation to go here much because the menu is about as bad as you'll find anywhere.

    Mehhhhhh.

I mean, it's Buffalo Wild Wings. I'm not a dude, so I can't exactly appreciate the 37 TV's surrounding me playing every single sports channel known to man. But if you want a respite from the bitter Vermont cold, this place would work.

We started off with the Southwest Bites. Three words: Don't. Do. It. I have no idea what's in these things, but with one bite I figured I should never eat them again. Fried (obviously) with a combination of who the crap knows shoved inside. The menu says chicken, queso, and tortilla chips...but I saw none of this anywhere.

Our server was pretty slow (probably because we weren't ordering alcohol), but the place started packing them in around 530.

The wings were alright, but I like Pluckers more. All in all, two stars.

So even though it's a chain, I did really like this place. I've never been to any other location but this one in Burlington, but I hear that they are all pretty similar... which is the nice thing about chains, you know what you are going to get. We came here because my alma mater was playing in a bowl game and we were pretty confident that this place would have it on- and lo and behold, they did, on the the REALLY big projector screens. Beers on tap featured some local crafts, we tried the Otter Creek Winter and the Wolavers IPA- both of which were very good, the IPA went very well with the spicy wings. Ah, yes, the wings- we decided to go all out and get 2 orders of 8 boneless wings and a small order to fries with vinegar/salt dusting. We had Asian Zing- with chili pepper, soy and ginger- which wasnt spicy at first but it definitely got spicier and spicier, and the Honey BBQ- nice and sweet and a good compliment to the spicy. And the fries were delicious, though the small order was very small- but we each only wanted a few anyways. I appreciated the fact that they list calorie info on the menu, though i tried to ignore it, knowing it would only be bad news! The food and beer was great and inexpensive, service was decent, and watching the game on the big screens was awesome, though I wish there was an option to hear the game (like those neat tableside speakers would have been a cool touch). Would definitely come back here to watch a game.

I'd give this place 4 stars, but I gave it 5 since I came here to watch the NBA Finals and witnessed LeBron James choking in the 4th quarter. That alone on the many tv screens made this joint my go to spot for sports.

As for the food, theres a great selection of sauces for the wings. Definitely try the Asian zing and mango habernero. I go for either the 12 or 18 piece wings. I'm a guy so I need all that protein. Place is definitely worth it if you're into sports and want to laugh with your buddies when you see the teams you hate lose and the teams you win win.

This is from a Lakers fan. I haven't gotten heckled from any Celtics fans. Then again, I don't expect them to be relevant for another 20 years.

I love this place b/c they are so easy going and they always seem to have some event happening like MMA fighting on Sat nights.  It's a sports bar, so you have to rate it compared to other sports bars and I think it's one of the best.  They have a ton of TV's, GREAT wings, tons of sauce choices, and a large bar area.  This is not the place for vegetarians.  :)  It's always busy but they have so much seating that you usually get in right away unless you go on a fight night.  We have always had good service (timely, drinks always full, friendly...) and they are really accommodating to large groups.  They don't hassle you about separate checks like other places.  And they let us have a bday cake in there one time for my friend's bday.
So all in all they are really great for a casual meal or large group dinners.

We love it here! We went last week to trivia and it was a blast. The wings were amazing, some of the best we've had, and we order a lot of wings! I got the buffalo chicken wrap, which was good, but not as good as the wings. Great place if you're looking to have some fun in a laid back atmosphere!

The traditional wings and sauce varieties are excellent.  The boneless wings are a bit small and dry.  Burgers are good, but the flatbreads and ribs are to be avoided.  The buffalo chip style fries are outstanding.

The facility is wall to wall giant flatscreens and projectors covering every sport they can tune into.  The air is fresh and the service is generally very good.

    Prices are a bit high.

Not sure why this place gets such bad reviews...  It's par for the course for a Buffalo Wild Wings.  It wasn't our original choice for our Friday night dinner, but one way or another we ended up here.  It was nice and quiet when we showed up later in the evening, we were seated right away.  I was glad to see that they had some local brew on tap (+1 star).

Everyone was happy with their grub.  We had chips and salsa for our app,  DW and niece has the Buffalo chicken wrap, I went with the Buffalo chicken sandwich and DD had the cheeseburger slider.  Service was decent, although by the time we were finished we were the only remaining table sitting outside.  It was sometimes difficult to track down our waitress.

Back to the beer, I had a Shed Mountain Ale and a Switchback ale.  The latter was really good.  Good to see them supporting local brewers.

A sports lovers paradise! Although I've only gone during football Sundays, I'm sure its the same during other days of the week when there are other games playing. When you first walk in you will notice the many TVs hanging from all 4 walls, a couple big screen projectors on each wall followed by some 42's. The hostess will ask which game you would like to see and seat you accordingly. Compared to other sports bars I've been to, this place has a different attitude. Yes there are the die hard fans but it also gives off a friendly vibe. The crowds aren't too rowdy so if i wanted to enjoy my food i can. The burgers are great, taste fresh, nice flavor. Wings could be bigger and the variety of sauces compliment well. So far my favorite sauces are the mango habenero & the garlic one. I've had the chili burger, which is loaded with chili and it is just a big mess but its so worth it. I've also had the burger that has fried whole mushrooms in it. Having the mushrooms whole makes the burger taste better, full of flavor and juice. So far no complaints, i would definitely go back again! Only reason i gave 4 stars us because i have yet to have more items off the menu.

Boo!! Bad Margarita, Terrible Service! The food was just mediocre not that I am expecting much from a chain but I guess I was just expecting more than that. I mean who has a wing place and then serves the wings with hardly any sauce. I will not be back.

Over the past summer I have been here 2-3 times. It had opened up early in the summer. Every time has been ok.

As you enter the building you will see its pretty clean. the inside is pretty well done with the TV's and tables. I must admit I hate sports. So me and the girlfriend always sit outside. We have walked through and it seemed very loud. Thats a sports bar for ya! So nothing wrong with that at all.

    Service:

Service from the server has always been pretty good. Always on top of things and ready to take your order! They are very friendly to the customers! They have yet to make any real mistakes on our food as well!

    Food:

The food is just plain good! We always get an app and dinner. For an app we get boneless wings with one of there 10-12 sauces. All of them seem good. Then I have gotten the wrap for my main dinner. Its soo good! You can have it be grilled chicken or non-grilled. I like the grilled with the garlic one. Its very yummy!

    Price:

This is where some people might not agree. When we have gone out we get a Beer (Switchback!), mix drink for the girlfriend an app and 2 dinners. We seem to avg around $55-60 or so with out tip. Now thats not to bad! I just wish it was a little bit cheaper. Based on the fact the food os pretty good but not much higher than avg. Either way the place has been good to us! If you do go and hate sports just take a seat outside!

Friend and I were on Shelburn Road trying to decide where to go for dinner.  We stopped at BWW.  Now, not normally a fan or at all a fan for franchises I was hesitant.  However, it was good.

If you are looking for a large place to watch a game...this would perhaps fit your need.  So many TV"s it was a bit out of control.  But, I think that is what they are going for.

I wish we had a Buffalo Wild Wings near me.

We were driving up to Montreal and wanted to stop at the Magic Hat Brewery for a tour and some samples.  As we got off the highway, we found this location and came back for lunch.

The wings were fantastic -- I enjoyed the second-hottest sauce (Wild) on 8 boneless wings along with a huckleberry lemonade on the side.  The sauce had just the right amount of heat and the chicken was freshly prepared.

My only complaint is that I was asked if I wanted a refill of my lemonade; I said no and then received one a few minutes later, along with a refill charge of 50 cents on the check.  I ended up drinking some of it, and this was only pennies, so it's really not a big deal.

While this place may be a chain, they do offer amazing wings.  Plus, the servers are fully clothed, so it's great for kids!

Great sports bar.  Lot's of TV, okay service, and good food.  Lots of selection for sauces for your wings and you can play trivia with other customers.
