First off, I'd like to say that I LOVE wings. I usually go to Wings To Go, however. So when I was invited to go out to BWW for a birthday dinner, I was excited to try another place to see if it could compare. We had a party of ten or so. Three people had beers...three people got good service, if you catch my drift. Our server was uninformative, so the people that had been before let me know the drill. When it was time to order, I was immediately shut down. There was no "Sorry we can't do that, but you can do this..." It was "Nope! Can't. Try again." Uhhh...alright? That was all that was ever said to me. He made conversation with whoever had a beer. I know the drill, I work in retail/customer service, but I don't ignore other patrons or make them feel helpless and ridiculous when just trying to get some food.
The person for whose birthday we were celebrating brought their family along. Their child wanted ice cream. When he asked for some, the server looked like he has just asked him to light himself on fire. He sat in a seat across from the little boy, put his head in his hands, and proceeded to ask what kind of ice cream the little boy wanted. The boy felt so bad his mom had to do the rest for him.
The food came rather quickly for the size of our group, and it all looked like chicken nuggets covered in sauce. They tasted like really crunchy chicken nuggets covered in sauce. I guess a better phrasing would be "partially covered in sauce" because most of them were only at least half sauced. I was so disappointed. I even had to get my boyfriend to ask for a box for me because the server never brought one when I asked ten minutes prior.
The main thing I've learned from this experience: just buy bottles of the sauce and run. Far. To another wing place.
Loud on Saturday night, the tenders with the Parmesan Garlic sauce were very good, the popcorn shrimp was a little over breaded and over fried than what I would have preferred. Â The option of a side salad instead of fries was appreciated, enjoyed the Murphy's Irish Stout they had on tap.
Review Source:This is based on at least 30 visits: Â Consistently poor/slow service, consistently cold food. Â The only reason I ever go is the beer specials and the NFL sunday ticket. Â Although I'd rather watch at Mason's because they have HD screens. Â The screens here are small tvs and large projected screens that don't show up very well in the bright room.
Review Source:If you are a sports fan, this is THE place to watch a game in Huntsville! Â Large screen TVs everywhere. Â The food is good and beer selection is as good as any sports bar I have been to. Â They have a full bar, but, don't order anything fancy, they will get the ingredients correct, but no flair for mixology... Â WARNING, this is a NOISY bar during college football, for that reason alone I avoid it on Saturdays during college football season.
