What can you say? It's your standard BWW. It's loud, there's TVs everywhere. Service is good, which I think is standard for place like b-dubs. I've had the wings and their burgers, both of which are good. Nothing outstanding. The drinks are usually strong, which is good. No complaints.
Review Source:Corporate ego's seem to be running amock at BWW. Â I just had an order of their "new" wings. Â The only difference I can detect is that the price is higher. Â Maybe the CEO needs to buy a new summer home somewhere and he figured the average BWW customer is too stupid to figure out the change in wing order quantity is actually a price increase thinly disguised. Â Supposedly the wings are bigger now but I couldn't see that which means that pitch is B.S. Â Sorry to be so negative, but I'm really tired of businesses that treat their customers as if we're stupid lambs to be herded off to slaughter. Â I call a spade a a spade. Â The wings still taste good but they weren't better than many competitors at lower cost before this price increase, and nothing has changed there despite the marketing (lies) pitch.
Review Source:Not a lot to say about this place other that they charge too much for what you get. The wings are ok but they are too dry most of the time and the service is really just average. I am guilty of still going here to watch the UFC fights because they have lage and many tvs to watch the fights and they don't bug you all night to order more drinks. it is a nice place to just hang out for the night and nurse some beers. not a bad place just not a great place. I will still go back.
Review Source:The two times I have places online pick up orders have been catastrophic. Today, I came in and my order was nowhere to be found and the staff made it seem like I had never placed one. Luckily I had brought my smartphone and opened my email in order to show them confirmation of my online receipt. To make matters worse, they had confused an older woman's order along with mine. I overheard their conversation and the employee had told her that she had to wait an extra 40 minutes because her order wasn't scheduled to be fulfilled in their system yet. After a few minutes of watching the staff run around like headless chickens, my order was finally in view.
Review Source:Sometimes a yelper  just has to give in and hit up a local chain. I've been here quite a few times actually and each experience has been different. A few have been good/fun while some have been lackluster. Overall, this place is meh yet not. Here's why:
1. The food is great, however the prices are not. $.60 wings and an $8 "large" beer [16 oz] is NOT a deal. I don't care what night of the week it is.
2. The staff is efficent, however, it's nothing special. Half the time, they seem to be understaffed and overwhelmed.
3. They pride themselves on being classier than most wing restaurants, yet their plateware and silverware are plastic. wtf.
I"m just not sure about this place. I guess I'll give it one more try before i completely cut them loose.
What a lousy experience... Â Terrible way to start a review but it's true! Â I sat for 10 minutes before anyone came over to offer me something to drink. Â There were open tables around me so they weren't that busy.
After she brought my drink it was another 20 minutes before she came back to take my food order... Â Â Not really sure why I stayed. Â I have been here before and the service was good. Â Clearly they are having some issues. Â
I did notice a number of employees standing around. Â Perhaps they could help... just a little.
This isn't my favorite restaurant but it was the closest sports bar to meet my son at. Â Their menu is just not that good. Â Their wings are good but really that is about it.
I only come here on Thursdays, for the amazing deal called Boneless Night. Â I think their menu is overpriced in general, but you can't go wrong with super cheap boneless wings, can you?
I try to branch out in terms of sauces, but Asian Zing is by far my favorite, with spicy garlic in second place. Â I've enjoyed the Caribbean and BBQ sauces as well. Â Buffalo is good, but really not the best buffalo sauce ever. Â They have a lot of beer options and get props for always having the New Belgium seasonal.
Service is okay-- usually not great, but tends to be relatively friendly and efficient. Â The restaurant gets loud and the bar is usually a better bet.
Good chicken, but not a destination. Â Except on Thursdays.
This place was a complete disaster. From its policies, to its service to the food itself. I went on a friday night for an early dinner (6:00) as I was on my way to a elementary school carnival and had the family in tow. We had been seated quickly and the place was 30% full. I looked up and saw the advert for happy hour specials and seeing as how I was there in preset time frame I then asked my waitress what the specials were. I was then told by my server that the manager only allows the specials to be served in the bar. The BAR?! I had 2 young children with me so yeah lets go take the kids to the bar! Adding injury to insult we were seated in a booth just on the other side of the bar. A mere 3" of foam and wood seperated me from the holy land of happy hour. It was very ridiculous a policy and in the long run shortened our tables order by 25%. Another nice thing on their menu is that it said the item I ordered (ribs and wings) came with "two side, french fries and coleslaw" then below it states that you can "substitute and side for the following:" and then listed many items, when I tried to order the advertised substitution I was told that the coleslaw is not a side as it is "too small", my goodness..BWW should enter polotics. Then the wait....God, the wait! I literally had to slurp the bottom of my glass so loud that it actually carried over all the tv's so the waitress could hear me and get me a refill. We then waited 1 hour for our food, mind you the restaraunt started to fill up but it was still not at 80%. We got our food and began to eat, the wings were good, but anything with that much breading and that fried usually is good. Then I ate the cole slaw...OMFG, the coleslaw was something out of kitchen nightmares, it smelled rancid and my girlfriend confirmed that indeed it was sour. So gross...finished up tidily after that and ran for the hills! AVOID AT ALL COST. I am not a ranter, so this rant should please put an "!!!" on how bad this place was. Yecchh!! to the highest degree!
Review Source:So-- yeah I'm usually very wary of Chain Places-- but WHOAH!!
Chicken done right?? Yea- I think so.
I was out with a buddy doing a little shopping when a sudden case of extreme hunger occurred.
Although the place was almost packed due to the Northern Colorado College Basketball game- we were greeted promptly.
Now- I have been out to eat -- a lot-- but never at BWW= weird
I ordered the Buffalo Ranch Chicken Sandwich-- but I like the SPICY--so I inquired about their large wing sauce assortment.
I got them to sub the boring Medium sauce for a much more exciting (an AMAZING) Mango/Habenero!
KIDS TRY THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!!
Seriously AWESOME taste combo with a heat that --as my friendly server advised "Totally sneaks up and KICKS YOUR ASS!!"
She was right.
Service was spot on-- food quality was way above expectation.
TV's everywhere to watch --they even have the remote poker game.
Good stuff!
My only gripe about BWW in general is plates. They have none. Spending $8-10 bucks on your food you'd expect to have the opportunity to eat off of a proper plate.
Will I try out BWW again=yes. Am I excited to eat that Chicken Sandwich again? OH YEAH!!!
This BWW is always a COMPLETE hit or COMPLETE miss. Sometimes you get in, served, and out quick. I've been here a couple of times where it took like 2.5 hours to go through the cycle for no particular reason.
I've been here with MASSIVE (60) person groups several occasions as well. Sometimes they're perfectly accommodating and have a patio or something reserved and the service is great. Sometimes we've had the special reservations only to have the hostess laugh in our faces and tell us to get bent because they "don't do ANY" reservations.
The food is ALWAYS good here though, and it's the largest one in town, so I always end up going back for more.
BW3 in the house! Â We went out here for lunch and the place was packed and full of college football fans. Â
We tried a variety of wings (spicy garlic, wild, and the carribean jerk.) Â I had the Boca Burger with buffalo chips and a side salad... everything was A-ok. Â Our server was really nice and we got our food in a timely manner. Â They have Buzztime trivia and that always makes for a fun lunch. Â Overall "Bdubs" as stayed pretty consistent as far as corporate restaurants go. Â A great place to watch a game
BW3 is always a safe bet and I'll probably be dipping in to watch some Broncos' game this year!
I have always been a fan of Buffalo Wild Wings. My wife and I frequent this store and always look forward to going. The waitors/waitresses that we have had have always been very pleseant to us. Its great to go and watch football on Sundays as well here because it seems like they always have every game on. I had one bad experience where I picked up food for my wife, myslelf and one of her friends and found out when I got home, they completely forgot my order. So I went back to the store. I was greeted pleasantly by the store manager for the night and she was very apologetic. I asked if I could at least get my portion of the meal discounted from the bill and she refunded my credit card for the entire meal which was more than nice. Just another reason why we continue to love this store. Unless something goes terribly wrong, which I cant see how, my wife and I are customers for life.
Review Source:Love this place but honestly the one up on 80th and Wadsworth is my favorite....the new ones they build don't have any personality to them. Beyond that though, the wings, which is why I go, are great....Spicy Garlic, Asian Sing and Mango Habenero are my favorites. Traditional style or in Buffalittos, both work for me. I love the buffalo chips (Fries) and my love loves the Honey BBQ Burger.....and she "hates" BBQ sauce on burgers! The place can be a bit loud other wise i would give 5 stars. Wait staff is great and if you are just picking up, you never have to wait long.
Review Source:I went here with co-workers tonight after our staff vs. kids basketball game. Â Based on food alone, I'd give this place two stars. Â I ordered 8 boneless wings with hot bbq sauce (you get to pick from a spice spectrum). Â They gave me the wrong sauce but I didn't feel like waiting for them to fix it. Â The first one I ate was really fatty. Â Narsty! Â The rest of them were mediocre. Â I only ordered one whisky tonight. Â If I would have been more drunk, I'd probably have enjoyed the food more. Â Maybe? Â Oh yeah, and I had their "Buffalo Chips." Â Blah. Â Plain potato slices fried. Â They need to drizzle some hot sauce over them and sprinkle with blue cheese crumbles. Â Or something. Â They were boring. Â The taste buds on my tongue actually jumped out of my mouth and smacked me across the face for subjecting them to such lameness.
I am throwing an extra star their way, because the manager on duty was friendly and happily accommodated our group of 18. Â No complaints. Â No dirty looks for not calling ahead to warn them. Â Nice.
I will not go back here by choice. Â But it is a good place to go if you have a big group of people who are not picky about the freshness/quality of the food they consume. Â Plus, there is a full bar. Â Any place that carries Jameson can't be that bad.
I have been a fan of BW3s for a long long time. Â It is a chain and they are all pretty much the same. Â The service might vary a bit, but the food is the same. Â It is a good place to get a bite, play free trivia and drink cheap beers. Â The wings are not the best in the whole world, but they do the job. I love the variety of flavors. Â My favorite is the spicy garlic. Â I also really love these garlic mushrooms they have. Â The are breaded and fried but have this yummy garlic taste to them. Â Also as I mentioned before, free trivia! Â So just ask for an NTN box and have fun. Â Tuesday is cheap wing night and happy hour last til 7:00.
