Food is great at BWW! Â Fried pickles are an awesome appetizzer. Â For entrees I LOVE the boneless wings with Asian Zing sauce and fries with queso. Â They are always good wings and NEVER fatty. Â This is just a good place to get food and an AWESOME place for food and sports. Â Great on NFL football Sundays! Â Staff are usually pretty good for the most part as well. Â ALSO, if you are trying to eat healthy the Naked tenders are actually really good!
Review Source:Just Like KFC, but with Beer! Â I was given a gift card a while back, and I have really been looking forward to using it. Needless to say I was disappointed.
The TVs are cool & I really liked the trivia game on the hend-held device! But I normally go to a restaurant to eat...
The boneless wings were pretty bad, they reminded me of KFC.. really. Â The sauce was okay. The fries were average.
The beer menu looked great, until the server told me they were out of my first choice, then came back to say they were also out of my second choice (but did have a bottle of it)
Maybe I am naive, but I expected better food. Does KFC's parent company also own Buffalo Wild Wings? or should I call it BWW?
Ate at the bar during the football playoffs. The crowded place and eating at the bar may have influnced the quality of the food. The fries were skinny shoe strings, the wings needed more sauce. What little flavor there was, was tasty. Attentive bar tenders. I'll go back again in the "off season" to see if the food is better.
Review Source:Eating here wasn't a first or even second choice. I wanted sushi but with how late it was and everything in the burbs being closed, this was one of a couple choices. Service was slow which was surprising for an unpacked evening. Food is greasy, which yes I expected, but severely unhealthy. Sauces are good but sadly there is not much choice for pescatarians. Glad I still eat fish otherwise I would have been really screwed. I could always have gone for the carrots and celery. Oh boy does that scream appetizing!
I looked long and hard for vegan wings. I understand this is a wing place but figured for all the sauces they have they would want to include the non meat eaters of the world, you know just in case we show up with the meat eaters. No such luck. Needless to say I would rather become zombie and munch on my hand than come back.
We sat on the patio on a nice May evening. Well, what was a nice May evening until a man who had just completed the hot wing challenge came outside and promptly started throwing up right over the railing. His own waiter came out and handed him milk, but didn't try and help him otherwise or get him to the parking lot. We complained to our waiter and he tried to go get the man off the patio but he was met by the man's fighting friends who began screaming and demanding their money back. Here's a thought - if you can't beat the wing challenge, don't even try, and don't think it's perfectly alright to throw up right next to people who are eating.
But I digress. Aside from that fiasco we were not pleased with our food. I got a Blue Moon ale which ran about $8 there, which I know I can get for two to three bucks cheaper just about anywhere else. Plus the food was over priced and not particularly appetizing. Add to this the fact that the only place you can hear your own conversation is by outside seating, and inside you can't hear a single thing between the radio, televisions blaring, and hundreds of conversations echoing through the room.
Not worth it. If you want a sports bar, go to Miller's down the street. I wish Don Pablo's was still in this building, that place was worth it.
Ended up waiting for our car to get fixed at this place & it was alright.
Bar service was great - didn't get to try the food. Bathrooms immaculate. The only thing that had me sad was the Ms.Pacman was broken! The game was on the fritz - and it cost a dollar to play one game. Times have changed indeed.
The other reviewers pretty much hit the nail on the head with this one so I will leave this short.
For a sports bar experience, it was good. Â Good wings, beer selection, and quick bites to eat.
For a RESTAURANT experience (comparing their food [other than wings] to a Fridays or Applebees), I would definitely look elsewhere. Â As a comparison, the burgers (a simple thing to cook) were very poorly done and I really couldn't even tell the burger was beef. Â
After all the "hype" of the commercials, the sports bar experience, etc. I was craving to go here. Â Very disappointed with the result and unless I go with some friends for an after-work/sports night experience, I won't be going back....
Well, I read the reviews, but I thought I'd give this place a shot anyway. For the most part, the reviews are accurate. I did read about how this place just seemed like a place with tables and TVs only, but I thought the decor was fine. Nothing special, but good enough for a place to get some wings. As for the food, it was ok. The wings were actually pretty good. Really straight forward, but still pretty good. The fries, potato wedges, onion rings and ultimate nachos were average at best. Those items were about as good as what you might expect to get at a place like Old Country Buffet. My big issue with this place was the service. It took forever to get our wings and they totally forgot about the nachos. I actually had to remind them which made them arrive towards the end of the meal. Also, I asked for half of my wings to be garlic and half of them to be mild and they all came in one basket (which would have been fine had they kept them separate) and they were totally mixed together completely eliminating the chance of me being able to taste each type. So way after we were done eating, our waitress asked if we wanted the check, at which point I asked to have the nachos removed from the bill (which they did, I'll give them credit for that). She left and didn't come back for like 15 minutes, and only after I flagged her down. Apparently she couldn't find her manager. So when all was said and done we were in that place for an hour and fifteen minutes and they were at most 25% full. I only get and hour for lunch!
Decent wings.
Average at best appetizers.
Lousy service.
I don't see the appeal.
I walked in there, and it was like a sports bar turned cafeteria. Atmosphere was at a minimum, just televisions everywhere. I get that it isn't meant to be a fancy restaurant, but it was just tables and tv's. They had a few measly pieces of decor by jerseys on the wall (I think I saw four of them...) but that was basically it.
It was ridicuously loud. Hard to hear my family who was sitting next to me loud.
Our waitress was nice but you could tell she wanted to get us moving along because they were busy. Annoying.
For an appetizer we got spinach and artichoke dip, which was average. It said served with pita chips, but it was just tostitos nachos.
They didn't have sharing plates, they handed out paper containers for that. That to me was really tacky and added to the cafeteria vibe I got.
I got a chicken tender salad with medium sauce on the chicken. It was nothing special and wasn't really satisfying, despite the huge size. Their menu reminded me of fastfood or something like a Stewart's, so I was disappointed. I don't want to pay chain restaurant prices for fast food quality food.
I probably won't return again. If you are coming to drink and watch the game, sure it's a great place, but I go out to eat for good food and socializing with my friends and Buffalo Wild Wings wasn't good for that.
Horrible food! They should stay where the started at down south or at least fix their issues before coming up this way. I've been to 3 different BWW since they came up this way and they are all the same. Overpriced, under-portioned and poorly ran! Looks like this will be the new Five Guys Burgers in the area (one popping up every mile) and as you can tell from the other reviews they aren't doing too well. I don't understand what the big deal is about this place. Its new but in a few months people will see that its not that good anymore. They are expanding in our area too quickly
Review Source:Wow, the food here was horrible!!!! The fries were rubbery and chewy, they shorted me some chicken strips in my almost $10 meal of thinly sliced tough and chewy grilled chicken strips, and the sauces were incredibly salty and gross. I also had a side salad which was wilted and brown. I will never patronize here again; what a terrible food experience.
Review Source:Not great. Â Was seated in a busy section but waited 12 minutes to have someone come take my order. Â Guy who did was really nice and apologetic and attentive. Â Ordered medium boneless wings because I love all things buffalo. Â The wings here were adequate. Â Although I wished I'd had my Frank's buffalo sauce to give them more flavor. Â Probably wouldn't go back but glad I finally tried it.
Review Source:i went there with a bunch of friends and sat there for like about 15 min with no service. staff keep coming to our table and brought us stuff that we didn't order. when we get to order we waited another 15/20min for the food and drink to come. it was bad experience for us and we never go back again. we all think they did not train their staff good enough otherwise there would not be soo many server to come at our table and ask if we order those food. I would not rate any star if i could
Review Source:I remember when I used to see Sonic commercials on TV all the time, and there was never a Sonic anywhere near where I lived. After years of seeing commercials, a Sonic opened up in close driving distance to me. The same goes for Buffalo Wild Wings.
After years of seeing TV commercials, a Buffalo Wild Wings opened up across from the Oxford Valley Mall and Sesame Place. The Buffalo Wild Wings took the location of the old Don Pablo's. With this location, parking is at a minimum.
If you want wings and beer, this is the place to go. If you want to relax with a glass of vino and a fancy Italian dish, this is not the place to go. Imagine a great sports bar, but crank it up a few notches. Also while you're at it, double the amount of TVs in the place. This is the perfect place to grab a drink and watch the games with friends. I have never seen so many TVs and projector screens at a bar/restaurant. There is no bad angle in this place to watch a game.
This place gets loud. I had a hard time talking to friends at my table with the volume of the TVs and conversations going on. They have a great beer selection. They have many taps so you will have no problem finding a beer. But be warned, I was shocked by the beer prices when I got the bill. Maybe next time I'll stick to water. My table got about 4 different wing sauces. Some of the wings were not served hot but rather cold. Also the wings took a long time to get to our table. I guess I'll let this place slide because it is the first week or two they are open.
