Thank goodness MNF is back. I go in with a decent size group and we have a waitress that really takes care of us in the bar area. The problems I've had are in the regular seating areas. Servers simply do not care about their tables, sometimes taking over 20 minutes for drinks- even with a near empty restaurant. Â Socializing takes
Priority over work. I haven't been served by everyone there, but my honest opinion is that if you're not in the bar area, don't expect good service.
I've always had good service here...EXCEPT for one day I came in around 3:20 PM.
Place was pretty empty.
I went to go sit in the bar area at a table, where I always do. When i sat down, the moron guy behind the bar(who was the only one working the bar area) YELLS, "You alone?"
I said, "Yeah..?"
He motions for me to come sit at the bar...WTF??
is coming to serve me at the table too much work for him?
I know that 4 second walk to the table is excruciating but..... Â
Then I said, "No, I'm ok here."
Him: "I don't bite."(!!!)
Hey jackass, if I wanted to sit at the damn bar, I would've sat there!
I like sitting alone at the table....does this idiot have a problem with that?
So he finally came over there but when I realized that this idiot is the only one that could wait on me, I was so aggravated I just left. i just got done working all day and I don't need to deal with this kind of crap.
I just thought people should know about this because if he did it to me he's doing it to other people. he works at the bar area afternoons around 3:30 so if you ever go in the bar area around the late afternoon hours, beware. He's in his late 40s with greyish hair.
It's especially aggravating because I've always had great service here even when it was packed.
I have ordered from this location numerous times for pick up. I usually get 24 wings and an appetizer which costs about $23 dollars. The order is consistently ready in 15 to 20 minutes and upon picking up the food they display each item in the order for me to verify. Between the quality of the food, the consistent speed of readiness, and verification of the order I give this place 5 stars.
Review Source:My experience here was A-OK. Â I came here during lunch. Â They had 75 cent legs which were a lot bigger than wings. Â I ordered two legs & an order of six wings. Â For appetizers we just had an order of Onion Rings. Â
The Onion Rings came out very hot & tasted very fresh. Â There was a pretty big portion of them but they were over $6 so they should be big. Â The food came out & just like the appetizer they were hot & tasted fresh. Â The 75 cent legs were very big. Â I could have just ate those two legs & been full without ordering the order of six wings. Â
Overall the place was pretty clean & the service was good. Â The food was good for being Hot Wings & Onion Rings. Â This was one of the better Buffalo Wild Wings that I have been to. Â The prices are a little big high for food that isn't on special but the 75 cent legs were a good deal. Â I would eat here again if I was in the area.
I am greatly dissaponted with my experience. I have been going here since the day it opened and I walked in and had to wait over 5 minutes for anyone to come and greet me for my pick-up. No I expect no special treatment because I come there alot but I have been in the restauran industry my whole life. And to wait 5 minutes to get an order with no hostess/host of any type on the standby is absurd. I had to wait because everyone working was socializing in the back and I could hear it all the way to the front. I have seen this place slowly go down hill when it was once the place of champions. Also the food quality.... Are you kiding me? Made me want to go to jewel get some chicken wings and make them myself. Very little sauce (which is why BWW is famous for) and consistency pf the meat was crap. The breading was perfect hut then There is a half cooked core?? I dont know whats going on but I obviously care. Management is obviously not where it should be. I dont know if the manager is so desperate for acceptance from his employees, even though most are high school kids. Or what the deal is but figure it out. And get it straight.
Review Source:Really disappointed. This place use to be really good...but the day I went it was horrible. I ordered the 50 wings and I split it up into medium, teriyaki and sweet barbecue. I ordered for carryout. When I went to pickup the wings the girl started to take out the items to make sure it was all there and  the sauces were dripping everywhere. I didn't think anything of it. I paid and when I got home and opened it I could see they looked different. Also the boxes the wings were in were falling apart because of the sauce. The sauce was dripping everywhere that it just seeped through the boxes. After tasting the wings they were flavorless. The sauces didn't adhere to the wings like they normally do. Also....the wings were not cooked long enough. They were soft and just bad. I was so disappointed especially because I paid so much for the 50 bucket. I won't be back.
Review Source:This location is so-so. I would give it 2 stars but I'm a chicken fan. B-dubs in general has 5 stars from me. But this location is EH! I like that they added some dry rub flavors. Pretty good to me. This location in Mount Prospect is a teenagers hangout. Actually, I'd have to say that this and the one in Skokie is overloaded with teenyboppers. They make the waits verrrry long. Yeah Yeah...call me an old fart middle aged crabby lady. But I just hate waiting FOR--EV--ER just to sit down and eat chicken and drink beer with my family.
The servers here are horrible! The service they give is not at all close to good. They are not attentive to their tables. If I was as cruel as some out in this world, I would leave no tip for the crappiness of service. But I know how hard it is in the world right now. They sit at their little order input machines/cashiers (WHATEVER) and chat with each other. You'd better make sure that when you see your server, you better catch them whenever they swing past the table because you will be left thirsty as hell if you don't catch them. The few times I have eaten here, we have always been left thirsty as hell or missing something from our order.
I'd rather wait in a long line for a table at Hooters. If you're in the mood for chicken, make this chicken chain 2nd or your last option.
Not a fan of reviewing chains so I only do it when I encounter a really bad or an exceptional experience. This was a pretty bad experience, mainly due to the servic. It was slow and lazy, apparently our server didn't care about tips, he came to our table maybe twice and all the other times he was just standing around empty tables watching tv. I will be returning to Buffalo Wild Wings because the food was delicious but if I get the same server I will be quickly switching tables to a different section.
Review Source:(This review is based on Buffalo Wild Wings in general.) I am a true gormet food lover, but there is a side of me that loves cheap, fried foods. I just love the boneless wings here. I have tried mild, medium, hot, honey BBQ, and spicy garlic sauce boneless wings and I like all of them. I love the popcorn shrimp and fried pickles as well. The place is loud, but it doesn't bother me since I like answering the trivia questions on the t.v's there.
Review Source:The waitstaff and bartenders are great-very personable! The atmosphere makes you feel like you're on display- too bright (can someone dim the lights please...?) The nachos are not good-chile is too salty and the salsa is not the tastiest. Can someone please explain why they charge an arm and a leg for a .5 ounce of dressing?
Review Source:This bdubs location used to be one of my favorites - but it has quickly gone downhill.
A guest and I went for a late bite to eat and drinks on Black Wednesday. Â I wish I could attribute the horrific service and obscene wait time for our food to the fact that the place was slammed due to Black Wednesday, but it wasn't slammed. Â The restaurant side had maybe 2-3 tables seated, and the bar the same. Â We sat in front of one of the large projector TV's to watch the Hawks game, and in our server's (Efren) defense, he did greet us and take our order right away. Â That was about the only thing I can defend him on.
We ordered:
2 tall Miller Lite's, as they were on special.
12 boneless wings, medium, extra bleu cheese and celery.
12 boneless wings, 1/2 honey bbq, 1/2 mango habanero, ranch and celery.
basket of potato wedges
basket of their new jalapeno poppers w/ cheddar and bacon (I wasn't impressed.)
Boneless wings with medium sauce are my go-to, and my guest always gets honey bbq and mango habanero, so we knew what we were in for, and also roughly how long it should take. Â I want to say we waited at least 45 minutes, but it could've been longer. Â The food came out luke-warm. Â The extra bleu cheese dressing never came. Â When my guest made mention of it to our friend Efren, he just looked at us.
I know it's a chain - but I almost expect more consistency in service from a chain restaurant. Â And it doesn't take 45 minutes + to fry up some nuggets and slather them in sauce.
I usually like simple wings and do not need anything fancy, but for some reason when ever I've had wings (bone in our out) here I wasn't the biggest fan.
I did however have a late-night salad here the other day and was very satisfied!
I ordered the Honey BBQâ„¢ Chicken Salad (Fresh greens, pico de gallo, a blend of cheeses, grilled chicken and BBQ ranch dressing garnished with our signature Honey BBQâ„¢ sauce.) My friends ordered the Chicken Tender Salad
(Crispy chicken Buffalo Tenders™ spun in your favorite BUFFALO WILD WINGS® sauce and served over a bed of fresh greens, tomatoes, onions, croutons and a blend of cheeses.)
I got the bbq sauce and bbq ranch on the side so that I can use very little sauce. The salad was fresh and actually very very good. My friend actually comes back for the chicken tender salad here. Who ever thought that a wings place would have very good salads.
The giant projector screens had the blackhawks game on last time, which was a bonus. It was a Wednesday night so at 10pm the place wasn't filled with a big crowd either. The older waitress that we had was extremely nice she even had a conversation with us.
1 complaint that I have is that I almost froze here, even after we told  the waitress. I was wearing a sweater and a scarf and I was freezing.
I wouldn't go out of my way to come and eat here, but if I ever end up here I won't protest it.
In case no one has figured it out yet, I love traditional wings. Today, we went to BWW in Mt Prospect for lunch.
I like it for couple reasons: the lunch specials save us money and it's kid friendly. Â
For $9.99, I got 12 Mango Habanero Wings with Chips and Chili Cheso Dip (Maria let me substitute the salsa) and bottomless Diet Coke.
For $7.79, my Mother ordered the Grilled Chicken Wrap with French Fries and Cole Slaw and bottomless Lemonade.
Today, our Server, Maria, was attentive to my Nephew and she translated my order in a way I could save money (see above).
Unfortunately, I thought the wings were over-fried. I hope this was an isolated mistake.
We usually dine during the Scott Van Pelt show on ESPN. I wish the TVs had closed captioning so I could know what he is talking about.
This is  great place to watch sports. they have 4 big tvs on the back wall and tvs all around the place. like all Buffalo wild wings the food its just ok the only reason i eat there is they have good sauces .this one has 2 Jersey and a lazy boy for raffle.  They have  Miller light and MGD on special during games. its a good place to watch the game with friends
Review Source:I would never eat here, since my friend is a food inspector for mount prospect...but i am not sure if I am allowed to disclose any of that information! Anyways I came on here to complain about their mixed drinks. Stingy, Stingy, Stingy. Â I had to send back almost every drink because I couldnt taste any alc. yep, thats my complaintsbut my server dude was awesome!
Review Source:My elderly mom is somewhat loosing her mind and I have found myself trapped in the suburbs looking after her. Â About once a week, I find an hour or so to escape in hopes of maintaining my own sanity. Â
Last time I was at a Buffalo Wild Wings they were called BW3 and you had to pick your order up at a window in the kitchen. Â I seem to recall the food being better back then, but I tend to recall everything being better twenty years ago. I can't really say anything good or bad about the food. Â It is inexpensive chain restaurant food, it is edible and moderately flavored to please the masses. Â I know it is a beer and wing joint, but a wine selection consisting of more that a jug of red or white would be nice. Â
In an effort to avoid the screaming children, I keep to the bar, which seems to attract a fair number of regular customers. Â Everything there seems to be clean enough and opposed to what others have reported, the service is speedy. Actually, the primary reason I return is the quick service that gets me back home before everything goes to Hell and mom winds up spray painting the dog or something...
The other draw is the quick whitted afternoon bartender (Steve?) who provides me with enough amusement and distraction, which allows me to plod through another day granny-nannying in the burbs.
I guess the Bar Louie on the other side of the shopping center may have better food, but I'm satisfied enough to keep returning here.
As far as "wing & beer" joints go, this one's fine!
Personally, I'm a fan of the garlic wings and onion rings. That's what I get EVERY time I go. Service is usually decent. This location is pretty average, pretty clean. Nothing special, except great wings!
Oh.. There are always sports games being played on televisions that are all over the building, so if you don't like noise - this isn't the place for you... OR you could get your wings to go.
I luv coming to this place with my friends and co-workers. Â The atmosphere is always informal and fun; they have a ton of flat screen television to watch the games, not that Im much of a sport fan, and plenty of loud roaring sports fans. Â I have to admit though, the fans can be a bit lout whenever there is a football or hockey game on, but I still love to come here just to lay back with friends and have a pint of beer or two with my favorite chicken wings and a side of large basket of Onion Rings. Â Yes, their Onion rings are "Da Bomb !!!"; honestly, they are one of the best that I have ever had. Â The price is a bit steep at $7.95, but honestly, this is one of the best onion rings you will ever have, guzzle that down with a pint of beer and some chicken wings, and you are all set for the night. Â
This place is known for their Chicken Wings; you can choose from a large selection of sauces....my favorite being the Carribean Jerk and the Hot Buffallo wings together with my basket of onion rings and beer. Â But they also have BBQ Chicken and Ribs, which are amazingly really good, as well as flatbread pizza. Â My friend hates chicken wings, but he loves to come here for their flatbread pizza.
I can honestly say thought that I've had better hot wings at other places, like Hooters, but I like this place for their range of sauces and did I say the onion rings are "Da Bomb!!!" Â These two combinations with the beer and friends is what keeps me coming back to this place. Â Also its nice to know that they close at 2am in the morning, so when it is a late weekend and my friends and I are looking for a fun place to fill our late night munchies, we head over to Buffallo Wildwings......forget White Castles.....lol
So we were craving wings, and seeing as how all of our favorite Wing places have all closed down in this economic downturn, I thought that we could give BWW another try. Especially seeing as how they are borderline a monopoly in this field...
First of all the place was disgusting. Seriously gross. There were napkins, straw wrapper, crumbs on the tables, seats and floors. The table was sticky and had food crusted on it, so we switched tables.
Okay, so we decided to give our waiter the benefit of the doubt. It was busy and maybe he just didn't get to cleaning his section.
Nope. Instead of cleaning or being attentive, he was just standing there watching the game -- the entire time that we were there. Sorry -- commercials don't require that much attention.
We then decided to branch out and try something different. We ordered a Parmesan Garlic Chicken Flatbread Pizza and Fried Pickles.
They were both so insanely salty (especially the pickles) that it felt like the salt was burning my tastebuds off. Seriously. And coupled with the lacking service (i.e. no beverage refills) it was a disastrous combination.
All in all there were no saving graces for us.
It will probably be a long time (if ever) that we will return.
One of my increasingly frequent Saturday "bro dates" found us here watching the Hawks home opener over some wings and sandwiches.
Oddly, the place was full of young prostitutes. Or, as my brother says, "must be prom or something". Minus 5 stars for every mother who let their daughter leave home looking that skanky.
Service was pretty slow, but I can't fault the staff for that. Given the influx of aforementioned hoochies and their deer-in-headlights dates all asking for individual checks on 10-tops, I was happy to just have a seat for the banner raising.
Food was good as usual, no complaints there.
I have been going to this location once a week for lunch ever since they have moved my dept out to this area.  The bartender here is a stich!!!  By the third visit he not only new my order but he knew my name.  Now  when I come in and just as I am rounding the corner he has my ice tea ready for me. Â
I don't really have too much to say about the food as I really only order the boneless wings and wedges with cheese. Â They have always been awesome here.
What I do like most about this place is the abundant selection of sauces. Â I am still working on trying them all... but it has been kind of hard since the Mango - Habanero is the perfect blend of sweet and hot.
So I came to this location in sort of a "funk" Â I had not eaten in several hours so my head was pounding. Â I walked in and sat at the bar and one bartender walked pass me several times but the one that actually stopped made up for that guy. Â As usual my food came out quick. Â I was able to catch a good b-ball game (U conn and Michigan), had beer, and met some interesting folks.
*note to the men out there. Â DON'T sit at the bar and talk about your wife and kids and THEN give your number to the single woman at the bar...on a coaster no less.
Last night this officially became my favorite BWW. My friends and I celebrated Super Bowl and showed up hours in advance to make sure we had a seat. My friend tried to reserve a table, but you can't technically be seated or guaranteed your table until 80% of the party is there; however, the manager talked with us and after we promised we'd have 7 people he let us sit and had the best table in the house cleared for us.
Heavenly Massage showed up for 2 hours for this event and gave out free 5 minute massages. BWW was very courteous to them and made sure the customers all knew this was available. Then he handed out raffle tickets and let our friend call out some of the numbers during commercial breaks. If your number wasn't called... it didn't matter! Everyone was a winner. They had more than enough sponsor gear for all who wanted to come up and grab 1, 2, 3, 4 or even 10 things! When people got what they wanted he let my friends and I go treasure hunting in the leftovers.
The atmosphere was the best. We were loud, we were somewhat obnoxious. Guess what! So was everyone else. But no one angered anyone, nor did any fights break out. It was the perfect place to spend our Super Bowl. Wings, alcohol, gear and good people!
Buffalo Wild Wings is really good for wings. They have the deals on Tuesdays and Thursdays I think for 50 cent wings. I have never had a problem with this location. My waitresses have always been good. ORDER THE WINGS WET. If you order them wet they put one extra sauce. No other wing joint has this variety of sauces. Everyone has their own taste, I always get honey barbeque, my friend gets spicy garlic, my brother is crazy and gets blazin. I love the wedges with cheese sooo good. You don't wait for food too long. Its a good joint to watch NFL and NBA games with a crowd. Â you can play games on the tvs while waiting for your food which is fun. Â In the summer you can sit outside as well.
Review Source:A group of us ate there last night and what a mediocre dining experience! Â We decided to eat there before watching a movie at the theater next door. Â Our waitress was really, really "off" last night:
1. Â Got 2 orders wrong. Â Gave us attitude about the 2nd order she got wrong.
2. Â Asked for sugar for an ice tea, she returned with ONE packet of sugar. Â I've NEVER seen that before! Â Seriously, has anyone? Â
3. Â When ordering, she said that this particular entree didn't come with celery and dressing, but we then pointed it out on the menu. Â She responded by saying, "Oh, well that's a new item." Â Â
I didn't know ribs and chicken tenders were new items at a chicken, rib, and burger joint!
4. Â She never brought out the celery and dressing for another entree and we had to ask for her to get it. Â
We talked to the manager who was passing by our table and let him know his waitress was having an "off" night. Â He apologized and comped us for a burger and gave us a $10 gift certificate. Â I have to say that he handled it well. Â
PROS: Â Good sauces for their chicken tenders and wings. Â I recommend the Carribean Jerk, Spicy Garlic, and Hot sauce. Â I recommend a the Carribean Jerk sauce if you order a chicken tender salad. Â Wings are decent, although a little more sauce on the wings would surely make them "finger lickin' good."
CONS: Â Service! Â The hostess was nice but there seems to be no sense of urgency to get people their food in a timely manner. Â General sense of unhappiness among wait staff. Â
IN SUMMARY: Â You're better off at Hooters or Buffalo Joe's.
4 stars for the tv screens. But I must be the only one who doesn't like the wings. Â I've been to this location and the one in DeKalb and at both places the wings were too dried out and chewy. Â If I had to choose a restaurant where I WANTED to eat, it wouldn't be here...the only reason to go would be for a major game, like the World Series or Superbowl, or playoffs. Definitely not for food.
Review Source:After spending the day at Arlington Park and craving wings, BW3 was on the way to my p's in Northbrook. Â The wait for takeout was 20 minutes, but the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The spicy garlic and honey BBQ was very good, the teriyaki, just OK. Â We probably should have gotten buffalo wings, even if mild.
One of the counter clerks even suggested to cut the straw in half so that my 15 month old could drink easier.
There's not much to say, it's a Buffalo Wild Wings. Â The Wings are great! Â The rest of the food is okay.
We went to this location for the first time last night and I had to say that the staff was pretty good. Â Considering it's spring break and 12 teenagers preceeded us into the restaurant at 10:30 PM, the staff was amazing! Â Packed with kids of all ages, which I find to be a common theme with most Buffalo Wild wings, relatively attentive staff. Â About the only thing we had to complain about was that the NTN game sets ran out of juice real quick or weren't working at all. Â Otherwise, a pretty good Buffalo Wild Wings experience.
Almost exactly mirrors the Skokie location.
Food drags whether its calm or busy, but someone's always walking around making sure you've got what you need, or refills.
The locations are ALMOST mirrored, I made the mistake of assuming the bathroom locations were the same, when I hit the door saw the mirror ahead, realized in the reflection behind me, was the Men's room! AH! Freakin sign is tiny & located to the right of the doors.
Nearby the mall and movie theaters.
If you are new to Bdubs, check out the website. Many, many flavors, wing special on Tuesdays and Leg special on Wednesdays. Â Beer specials all the time.
