This little chain is located right on the outskirts of Batavia right before you get to Williamsburg. Â Located on the farthest edge of a strip mall, this little hole-in-the-wall is easy to miss. Â As a matter of fact even though it's a chain, there is a neighborhood feel to it. Â It's almost as if this place doesn't want to be found by anyone other than friends and family of the owners and employees.
I popped in with some friends late one night. Â It was a Friday night and the place was packed with families and kids coming back from various high school football games in the area. Â There were about five large TV screens across the room showing a couple of different ball games. Â There were four waitresses scurrying around, trying to keep up with all of the customers. Â I'll give them credit, they were trying their hardest, but they were pretty behind.
Despite that, the staff was the best thing about this place. Â They were trying their hardest to keep up with all of the orders and customers, but they were at the mercy of the kitchen staff, who were dragging their feet. Â They always made sure drinks were served and refilled pretty quickly and were constantly apologizing for the wait. Â At one point one of the servers said they'd comp us part of our meal if the owner wasn't there. Â Now maybe she was just saying that so we wouldn't get irritated, but she at least seemed genuine. Â
Anyway, the service was the only real good thing about this place.
The décor is that of a cheap, dingy sports bar.  The food was absolutely horrendous.  I ordered buffalo popcorn chicken with chili cheese fries.  None of it was good.  The chicken was so overcooked it was difficult to stomach and the chili cheese (or sloppy) fries were just tasteless and bland.  It also sucks that they nickel-and-dime their customers.  I requested some sauce to dip my chicken and was charged fifty cents a pop.  Prices were relatively cheap, which might explain why the quality of the food was so poor.
Despite a noble effort by the wait staff, there just isn't all that much about this place that warrants a visit.
Mahalo, and avoid.
