Temperature for beer on tap was excellent.  Nitro hot wing sauce is bomb.  Unfortunately service was poor (slow), food arrived cold and the roast beef dip was bland.

First visit. Bartender was nice and on-it. She made our drinks perfectly. Well drinks for a great price (two wells for $6.50) and there is plenty of seating on the nice patio. We sat outside and the two waitresses outside never asked if we wanted food or more drinks the entire time we were there. Not sure if we'll go back. Not when there are GREAT wings within walking distance at Wing Stop where they have happy hour from 4pm to 8pm every day. All beer for $1.50.

The Wings are good here. The bar is huge, usually provides plenty of seating. There are lots of big screens to watch all the games.
The service is usually pretty good.
Huge menu, full bar, it can get loud in here be prepared

Huge menu with lots of beer options. Everything is reasonably priced. The food is good, not great. If you want a meal you won't pay too much for and won't really remember one way or the other while catching a game, you could do worse than Bully's.

After checking in late Friday night, the wife and I were hungry after a long day on the bike - I wanted a cold german beer, and she wanted a glass of wine.  Luckily, I had yelp on my iphone, plugged in "kick-ass place for a pint of real beer but serves wine too, AND is close by" (well...or words to that effect), and Bully's came up - and just a couple of miles away!

We arrived to find a very traditional looking sports bar.  After being seated, we got our menus, and immediately ordered liquid refreshments.  Ok, this place scores immediately - not only Stella's on tap, BUT, a 25oz glass!  mmMMMMMMMMmmmm!!

After getting some refreshment going (see above), we took a look at the menu, and like what we saw.  I ended up ordering a club sandwich (I know, I know, not the usual bacon cheeseburger, which they DID have, and it DID look good.  I musta been feeling healthy or something...whatever it was, I got over it the next day).  The wife ordered a chicken salad (she IS the healthy one of the bunch....she eats well enough for both of us (thank god)).

We received our meals and dug in...excellent sandwich, excellent fries, and the wife loved the salad.  High marks all around!

The place is covered in screens, btw....so we got to see the SF Giants blow yet another game in the playoff race....woohoo.

One heads up - do NOT trust your TomTom GPS to get you there.  I was pretty sure I knew where it was, and the TomTom, regardless of the assurances that it knew exactly where the location was (and admittedly, it's usually triumphant over my head strong knowledge) was clearly in the wrong.  Find Safeway, go to the other end of the parking lot, and you're all good.

    Enjoy!

I can literally walk to this place from home and I typically do as after a couple of Guinness drafts I don't drive.  That said I have some complaints.  I went there on Saint Patrick's Day and they were out of Guinness.  That is simply inexcusable.  On another visit I arrived at 5:40 PM and was served one beer (Guinness of course, but by now you would have guessed that) and then paid my tab.  Happy hour ended at 6:00 yet I still did not get the happy hour pricing as the bartender did not ring up the order until 6:05.  I find that highly suspicious.

I've (unfortunately) ended up at various Bully's locations on several occasions, always with a group that votes to go there for reasons I cannot fathom.  I've never liked Bully's, but the Vista location happens to be a favorite of a family member, so I've been there a couple times when they wanted to go.  The service is indifferent at best, completely incompetent and rude at worst.

However, on my last visit I was actually POISONED by my meal and spent the rest of the week in close proximity to restrooms and waste bins.  Terrible service AND food poisoning?  Sounds like a recipe for success!  Honestly, I can't understand why this chain is still in business.  Bully's has had a fair amount of financial trouble in recent years and the management has blamed that on the state's restaurant smoking ban.  The evidence shows a different picture ... they're failing because they suck.

If you like the "sports bar" format, you can do far better than Bully's.

I love bullys, always have always will.  the menu has a huge selection of food and varities for all pub/sports bar loving fanatics.  they have tv's showing every sports game possible and is a lot of fun for UFC fights.  The food and portions can't be beat for the price.  I highly recommend the wings. They are plump and juicy.  There are only a few flavors, but the wings themselves are so delicious it doesnt matter.  You cant go wrong with any of the sandwiches, wraps or misc. food items.

The service is usually always friendly and will try to make your experience great.  However, sometimes when it's really busy, there isn't enough wait staff and service can be slow at times, otherwise I would have given them a 5 star rating.  Give those girls some more help during big games there guys!

We went to Bully's on a thursday night. They have great sports coverage.

I had the Bully's dip. It is hybrid between Philly Cheesesteak and French Dip. It was good but eat it quick or the bread gets soggy.

My husband had the chicken strips. They are better than most restaurants.

The service was excellent fast and accurate and our sodas were never empty.  I would also note that our server was very pregnant so kudos to her.

Overall, a really fun place to eat good food  as long as you like sports. :)

Went back to Bully's last night and had the same great service.  I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and it was excellent again.

On the whole I love Bully's and I wish we had them back in the Bay Area.
I find the food good and reasonably priced.  I like the Wings and Fries (happy hour special $6) and the Fish and Chips.  They also have a good selection of beers.

As far as this particular Bully's, I think it doesn't have quite the same ambiance and fun factor as some of the other ones do.  I went to watch the World Cup for a few years in a row and they just don't draw the same crowd as some of the other do.  Also I find every time I go, someone is always working on something around the restaurant.  Whether it be beer merchandisers setting up a display or someone fiddling with the TV's, I find this somewhat inappropriate during normal business hours.

I usually get a sandwich or burger at Bully's, but I was salivating over someone else's basket of fried food and went for a half sampler.  I love that there's a half sampler.  Usually a sampler is way too big to justify ordering for any less than 4 people.  (Granted, this was too much food for one person, but I had also missed lunch and was ravenous.)

My family was visiting, and we had a fairly large group of people.  This is something the server obviously wasn't familiar with or capable of handling...  So poor marks for service.  It took forever and a day to (1) order food after drinks, (2) receive food (especially since some of it went to someone else's table...), and (3) pay the bill.  I didn't include drink refills in that list because they just plain never happened.

My food was about as colorful and healthy appearing as a basket of fried food can be...  Not very.  That being said, I honestly did have a difficult time telling a piece of fried zucchini apart from a mozerlla stick or a jalapeno popper.  The chicken and onion rings were the only things that had a clear identity.  The sampler was served with more than enough ranch dressing and marinara sauce for the size of the meal.  Taste was decent.

I'll probably have to upgrade my review at a later date, but this experience just didn't live up to my standards.

I came here solely to try the wings. I liked them and I'd recommend them to others if you're looking for wings. But they're not the best in the area and maybe not in my top five.
I got the wings with standard sauce, so they wren't too hot. The wings were meaty and had good flavor. I enjoyed them. The fries that came with them were standard fires, although maybe a little dry.
I also got the $2.50 margarita. The mix was more sour than sweet and I could taste the alcohol in the tequila. So basically it was what you'd expect out of a $2.50 margarita. Western Village does a better 99 cent margarita.
Service was good and friendly. In the past they seem to focus more on hot but dumb waitresses and my waitress was good and not dumb.

I would give this Bully's a 4, but for a really crap experience with one hippyish female server.

We went here a number of times for NBA league pass games.  The bartender did a great job of getting the game on for us and the often put it on a larger tv as many people going here just seem to enjoy the location, the atmosphere or just casual watching of whatever sports happen to be on right then.

Service was generally very good, including from the hippyish waitress.  Friendly, helpful, patient and pretty fast.  Drinks are a little more expensive than average for Sparks, more like San Francisco Bay Area prices.

We've explored a bit of the menu including burgers, buffalo wings, fried appetizer sampler, meatball sandwich, chicken sandwiches and all were solid, very large portions.  You're unlikely to find anything done better here than anywhere else.  However, everything they do is probably a little above average.

They had a number of deals for a time including a Tuesday deal where you get a scratch off ticket that you can use the following Tuesday.  Sometimes it was a free appetizer, sometimes it was a dessert, sometimes a kid's meal, sometimes a whole meal.  They also have daily drink specials, something like all Finlandia vodka drinks for 4 dollars including a giant bloody Mary, or Great Basin Brewery beer for 3.75 for a 20 oz instead of 4.75.

Ask the server what they like best on the menu.  That's always good advice and it definitely applies here.  I tend to choose 3 things that sound good and ask the server what they feel is done well.  They will know what's popular and what they like amongst the dishes they themselves have sampled.

    Parking is easy.

We probably got the server on hungover and she wanted out, but she seemed to go out of her way to harrass us for the order, then the check, then she stayed.  It felt very malicious and intentional.  My girlfriend was ready to call the manager about it.

The service was bad enough that we haven't been there since, but it was probably the 7th or 8th time we were there and the first service issue.

All in all, worth a shot particularly for the very diverse menu, well done food, and many tvs that include service to every major sports package.  It could be a great place to watch the World Cup, for instance.

One thing, the dessert menu is pathetic.  They don't have a freezer or some weird deal so there's like 1 dessert that is just okay.  If you want dessert I'd go elsewhere.

So normally I don't review chains, and although Bully's is a small Northern Nevada chain, I think they are worth reviewing now. My family ordered 6 meals for take-out ($76.76) last weekend. Well, in our order, they forgot two side salads (yes, we are trying to be a bit healthier and substituted those for fries). Additionally, both orders of steak sticks were ordered medium-rare, and came out well done. Who likes steak well done, yuck!!! They also charge a take-out fee!!! No wonder Bully's is going bankrupt...I know we wont be back!
