Funny story:

Walked inside the store, managers were discussing something. There was no one at the counter. Three minutes later, no one acknowledged me, even though the counter person and a manger looked directly at me.

I left. The End.

You're right.  It wasn't all that funny.  I thought I was still in Florida where bad service is the norm.
