Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I love me some Cracker Barrel. My ultimate comfort food is country fried steak doused in white gravy with mashed potatoes and corn. This place supplies that hankering and does it with a smile. All the waitresses are older and are extremely kind. I've always had good service here and gotten my food quickly. It's usually crowded with the older population like all the other Cracker Barrels are. I always get the raspberry lemonade in a frosty mug because it is just that extra something that does it for me. I'll always come here as long as they are serving that country fried steak so don't stop Cracker Barrel!

No surprises here, you get what you pay for!
and for what you pay, you get quite a bit!!!

I finally was able to go to one of these places after hearing my sister how much she loved it. There aren't any on California. So on my relocation trip to the mid west I ran into one. The place looks like a store out of a musical western technicolor movie. Place is a mix of a store and and a restaurant. I like the fact that they had a lot of senior citizens working in it. Portions were generous and they had a ton of confort food choices. I went for the grilled trout with it was OK. I was going for healthy compared to flavor so it was OK for trout. Customer service was real good.
