Subway

I kind of love the newest Subway location in Richmond. I was just here for lunch today and had another great experience.

Fast service, fresh food, great prices, and smiles all around. The addition of a drive-thru is much appreciated as well!

I don't frequent Subway.  It's like the McDonald's of Hoagies/Heros/Submarine sandwiches.  You expect consistency, not great food.

I had a coupon for a 6 inch sub for $2.00 with a 30 (not a 32?) ounce drink.  The first I ever tried was the Italian BMT and that's what I decided to have today.

The staff was friendly, and helped me through the selections.  They even toasted it.  When I received it, they put it in a plastic bag, but they didn't ask if I wanted it to go.  The price, of course, was reasonable with the coupon.

I sat down to a clean table--I didn't see any which were dirty.  The sandwich was okay.  The bread is better than their original bread, which was awful.  Toasting this bread probably helped, too.  The meats and cheese were satisfactory, just like McDonald's would be, but not desirable.

At just under $4.00, it was sufficient.
